Had too put one star cause thats the least I could get. messed up all the orders. Workers need to learn how to do their job

We made a stop here on our way and needed to get caffeinated, some sweets, and bathroom stop (clean bathrooms with even diaper changing table). I've never been to this SB location before. I don't know what some of the negative reviews are about, but I'm speaking from my personal experience on a weekend afternoon. They were slammed and by the time we left, it was more calm. I assume Martin is the manager-- very friendly, personable, and customer service oriented. I was busy looking at their desserts (trying to decide) and he was behind us with a big garbage bin, yet he waited and literally didn't even tell me. Felt so bad making him wait, but he didn't want to interrupt my moment, I suppose lol! I got a brownie, Madeline cakes, and a venti chai tea latte. Everything was good and my tea was perfectly balanced. Service was great. Bathrooms were clean. Tables were also clean and I saw the manager continuously cleaning and restocking things. It's rare to see a manager on the floor, but kudos to him! He cares. Glad we stopped here. I bookmarked this location for the next time I drive through again. read more

I had such a pleasant experience today. I came through the drive-thru and Correy greeted me. I ordered a venti caramel macchiato, grande double blended caramel frappe, and venti London fog. The frappe was for my son and I forgot to order the cream one. Correy remade it with no issues. She reassured me that it was okay and showed me the color difference for future reference. 10 mins waiting on cake pops during a non rush hour is terrible customer service. . . On top of that you make a coffee when ordering a matcha latte. Like how ? I understand mistakes happen but don't look annoyed when I try to my order corrected. read more

This is a great location, and their speed of service is quick! Whether you order by mobile app or go inside, you are greeted by friendly baristas! Also the quality of the drinks are always on point as well. Very grateful this is located by my office and if I have to head on the road, it's a very convenient location! read more

I travel everywhere in California for work and this is the only Starbucks that stated they aren't allowed to do no ice in a melon burst. This would almost make sense if it were a drink wherein no ice would require them to use more product, but this was for a melon burst. all a Melon Burst is, is a prepackaged can, the difference from no ice is covered with tea. tea cost virtually nothing. furthermore, they wouldn't even do it for an additional charge, or just allow me to have the empty space in the cup. This store had the most incompetent employees imaginable that would rather argue than fufill a simple request of just excluding ice even if it left space in the cup, which I would have been fine with. Supervisor on site was named Liz, and she seems to be entirely incapable of using common sense. read more

I have gone to the Starbucks closest to me where they constantly mess up my order. I decided to start going here and have no issues with my orders whats so ever. I remember two of the ladies names one is Ashley and the other is Anisha. They were both so helpful with my order. I always get Ashley in the drive thru and she's in an upbeat happy mood no matter what time it is lol. Anisha I get when I come inside and she is also always smiley and you can tell loves her job! It makes the atmosphere awesome and somewhere I want to come back. I always tell my family to go to that location :) read more

This has been one of the best coffee shop/starbucks experiences I've ever had. Chelsea was the happiest, most positive person over experienced ever. I am stuck in Bakersfield until my car gets fixed and I went in for a sweet treat to end the night. She was an absolute light of a human. She literally made my whole being feel better as things have been going high with my car situation getting back to Lake Tahoe. Starbucks should be so grateful they've hired her. Usually I curate my own drink from there (nothing crazy just a coffee). but there's no consistency. I get more cream than coffee and more coffee than cream. Also this light ice situation is getting out of hand. This is corporates fault. why do the workers put soooo much ice in the cups? it's a venti filled up to the brim I only get three drinks, they're not slick. And u ask for light ice and u still get light ice even though u might still be charged for light ice? jury still out on that so not 100%. This is one of the best Starbucks I've ever been to in CA or elsewhere. It's very new and conveniently located off my exit at Hwy 99 and 7th Standard. They have the friendliest and fastest drive thru service. Sometimes I drive there just to start my morning off right because they are so pleasant. Just went through the drive thru I ordered a green tea. I get one almost everyday. When I mentioned it the cashier argued with me and said I saw her pour it . I said okay let me taste it. It was black tea . I said no it is definitely black tea. Then the gal who made it came to the widow and showed me the empty pitcher and said that was green tea. if you want to wait 5 minutes I will make a new pitcher so you'll have to come in to the lobby and wait. i couldn't believe the attitude and disrespect. they brought me a new in and the very nice person who was probably the manager apologized and gave me a gift card stating" I apologize for her attitude, I already talked to her". I have been to a lot of Starbucks, this one.. their customer service is not that great. Most of them are pretty rude in there or not friendly you can walk in and none of them say hi to you and you just stand there unacknowledged waiting for your mobile. Unfortunately this is a Starbucks I have to go to because it's on my way to work, a lot of times I will put my mobile order in I love off Hageman and coffee at my house and it's still not ready by the time I get there and I'll still have to wait because they haven't started it. First time going to a Starbucks & asked if my dog is a service animal. Martin did not only took time to pretend to restock straws on the floor. They didn't have ANY of the drinks I wanted. Apparently there's been a shortage but they really need to update that online and in stores to let customers know what isn't available. This Starbucks, on the Southwest corner of Seventh Standard and State Hwy 65 is the most convenient location to the Bakersfield Airport. If you need a little caffeinated pick-me-up on the way to or from the airport then this is where you need to be. Outside there is a tiny little patio area with three wrought iron tables that seat two people each shaded by two of the trademark Starbucks green umbrellas. The inside is tiny as well. This may be the smallest Starbucks I've ever seen (other than the two drive-through-only locations) with only six tables that seat two people each and one table that seats four. Two upholstered chairs that look like leather with brass studs complete the cramped little ensemble. The dark tile fades into medium brown wood that travels up the walls fading into gray paint walls and then darken back to an olive gray painted ceiling. It's actually a pretty cool effect. A large stylized mural of a Starbuck storefront spans one wall and soft Celtic sounding music plays throughout. It serves the same yummy expresso based drinks that I've become addicted to at all the other Starbucks. On this visit I ordered a hot venti gingerbread latte that came with whipped creme and a molasses drizzle. Mmm... I do so love the holiday drinks. And, as always, there's the free wi-fi to take into consideration. The only reason I wouldn't frequent this particular location is that it isn't really on your way to anything except the airport, and maybe the Pegasus Road post office location. It would make a great road trip Starbucks for all points North reached by the 99 Fwy. read more

We pulled up a little before 10:30 and waiting about 10mins and we kept saying "hello" to the microphone they have on the screen and no one answered. And we got to the window because we assumed maybe they were busy or their headset wasnt working and we saw them all on their phones and once they saw us they walked away to the back of the store to hide 30mins before they closed and didnt have the decency to tell us if they were closing sooner or something was wrong they just went to hide and avoided us. Went there on my way to an early eye doctor appointment, long drive thru line, which is to be expected. I always order a venti iced latte sweetened, well when I finally get to the window, actually 10 minutes from ordering. I tell the gal in the window that the drink was not what I ordered I could tell by looking at it. Not only did she but another employee yelled at me that it was correct!!! So I took my drink because I was so mad and it had burnt shots to top it off..... After spending 20+ minutes in the drive through, we asked the barista if this was usually how it was at this location. His response was, "that's Starbucks". Really?? Interesting response. So my husband said, maybe I need to find another brand of coffee. Went through the drive thru and comparing it to the one in my town it didn't take long to order and get our drinks. I Got a "captain crunch" frap and highly recommend you try it out. It really tastes like the cereal! So if you love captain crunch be sure to order it with java chips to really the the crunch texture with the drink to get the full experience. My sister helped me order the drink and she says it's really important that you say 1.5 pumps of toffee nut because it really makes a difference, she was a Starbucks barista a few years ago too so imma just take her word for it. Haha. I plan to come here again if I need to satisfy my sweet tooth or if I need a quick fix for caffeine because fast service and great drinks are totally up my alley. read more
