I have been a loyal customer to Dutch bros coffee for many years especially the Chester location. I would like to personally recommend this location, compared to the other ones in Bakersfield because of their great quality and performance. The service has always been excellent which is the main reason I am there almost everyday. Management and the employees are very friendly, respectful, generous, understanding, and they will definitely make sure you have the best experience. Whatever the mood is, hot, iced, or blended coffee, or their famous rebel energy drinks or teas, there is something for everyone. Great environment! My go to drink is a medium, iced protein latte hopscotch sugar free or the "strawberry horchata". Also I recommend downloading their Dutch bros app, each purchase grants you points to redeem for free drinks and they have many promotions and giveaways. Don't miss out on the stickers first Wednesday of the month! Enjoy say hello to Dutch bros and goodbye to the green mermaid! read more

I really hope I have the right location. I wanted to leave a review to thank the employees that were so kind to me on the night of January 23, 2026. They honored a birthday drink for my mother's birthday and went out of their way to make it special when they didn't have to. They made her an incredibly sweet birthday cup to hold her iced tea in. One employee in particular was incredibly kind, Minnie, and I want to thank her again for her kindness. It meant more than she knows. On a practical note, the drinks from Dutch Bros are always tasty and you can build your own out of anything. They have larger containers than some places and you get more bang for your buck. The employees are always friendly, conversational, helpful, patient, and nice. I have not had a bad experience at Dutch Bros and gestures like this is what creates consumer loyalty. Highly recommend and sending my gratitude. read more

Wonderful service at this location! The line buster was amazing we had a great conversation and she was so sweet and genuine. She took extra care in making my girlfriend her birthday drink by making it look so festive and tasted great. Thank you to the gal that made my girlfriend's birthday even more special. read more

This place was cool. I love the large selection of drink options here. You can basically make any drink sugar free which is a big deal for me personally. The Service was great everyone was friendly and super informative being that this was our first time at a Dutch Bros. My only issue was the outside seating was messy. Trash everywhere. A regular outdoor walkthrough with a sweeper kit would drastically make this place much more presentable. Other than that I enjoyed the visit. I look forward to checking out other locations and other drinks. read more

These new people need to get it together. I get there was a lot of people but you guys should be used to that by now it's literally like that every other day. Come on now. I placed an online order at 2:15pm it's now 2:38pm I've just been standing here, they asked to see the order so I showed them the order. I was still just standing here waiting for my drink so I asked them what's taking so long they then again asked me for the name and then gave me my melted drink that had been sitting here the whole time I had been standing here. read more

Dutch Bros Coffee - Walk up window - Juice Bars & Smoothies Near Me - Bakersfield, California

Horrible customer service!!! I had walked up to the window and said excuse me because I had a question and mind you there was 2 girl workers and 1 guy and not one of them looked at me. Not even a "we'll be right with you" nothing I got nothing. I felt upset. It was my first time trying Dutch bros, I was excited. And to top it off my drink did not taste good. read more

My normal Dutch location is the Calloway location, and I always have the best customer service but yesterday 03/22 I decided to go to the California location, and I had the worst service ever. To start off she greeted us at the window with an attitude and repeated our drinks. After she handed us our first drink and we noticed it was wrong, we then let her know and she stated rudely, "I REPEATED YOUR ORDER, IS THIS NOT YOUR ORDER?!" We even apologized and when we did, she walked away not even letting us finish our sentence, she then started to scream at the team while having the drive thru window open, she handed us our drinks rudely after, we were shocked. The second bad experience was at this same location. they charged me a dollar extra without letting me know because I had asked for easy ice and it wasn't until I got to the window that I was told. I checked on the app and there is absolutely no charge difference for easy ice. This is completely upsetting. I rather not go to this location anymore. read more

Amazing taste flavors and big menu and great service also mention the prices are so affordable

I tried the Ice Salted Caramel Protein Latte. I was worried about an odd aftertaste most protein coffees from the store have, there was none! 9/10. The staff are always so kind and helpful at this location! read more

Dutch Bros Coffee - Iced Salted Caramel Protein Latte - Juice Bars & Smoothies Near Me - Bakersfield, California

Will not stop at this location again. Went to get my tea and they said they couldn't make it. One thing I typically love about Dutch bros is they make it to your liking but the lady was very dry and and I've been to so many Dutch bros in California and Nevada I always get my tea this way they were just unwilling to do it: read more

We are regulars and the drinks are never the same they always have a different taste or an nasty after taste idk if it's the new staff or what also they add different syrups to their drinks and claim they are the same. read more

So far my experience has not lived up to the hype. I've been excited to try them out since I always hear about how good it is but each time at different locations my coffee comes out so bland I'm drinking like water. And yes I've gotten the popular Golden Eagle (bland) then this mocha caramel iced latte forgot the name but looked appetizing (bland). I'm definitely not feeling like I'm missing out anymore. read more

I've been to a lot of Dutch Brothers never had terrible service like this place. This place was horrible.

My dad and I have been coming here for years now. We always get the iced starry night rebels there. The workers are always friendly and will recommend you some really good drinks. There is a guy who works there who recognizes faces and will say "two starry night rebels , right?" That always makes me laugh but yeah that's correct! A huge shout out to all of their workers, they're amazing! read more

I was just here tonight and had questions about the sugar free options because the ones I had gotten before weren't as sweet. The young lady who took my order was super sweet and both her and the young man at the window asked me to try it before leaving to make sure I liked it. Appreciate them going the extra mile read more

This place started out strong when they opened about a year ago. I was surprised to see they chose this location based on the size of the parking lot, but now that the initial hype has died down to a reasonable traffic volume, it actually works out pretty well. The coffee here is consistent and pretty good. My go-to a couple of times a week is the large 9-1-1, which is loaded with caffeine and helps me get through a 14-hour shift. It's a little pricy at nearly 8 bucks, but hey - its worth it once in a while. Over time, I have definitely noticed the Dutch Bro enthusiasm has waned. The employees at the South Chester location now appear scarred by this neighborhood. They don't smile or engage in conversation like they once did during their first few months in operation. It used to be like going to a party when you pulled into the drive thru. Bubbly personalities would approach your car on foot, wish you a good morning, and make recommendations. I don't get out much, and I lack much of a social life with my long hours, so I kind of enjoyed those brief human interactions with the outside world. It was, to me, a cheap thrill, akin to hiring a clown at a child's birthday party. I was essentially paying someone to be nice to me if even for the brief moments it took to order a cup of coffee. A year later, perhaps the daily exposure to transients high on meth and exposing their genitals and hoodlums stealing the tip jars has taken its toll. When I pulled into the lot yesterday to order my usual and a couple of extra drinks for my night shift crew, the girl working the drive through line on foot looked like she had just returned from a combat tour of duty. She had the thousand yard stare and an angry scowl on her face. She stood at my window and didn't say anything until I asked for my order, at which point she told me the total, completed the transaction on her iPad, and sauntered off back inside without so much as a thank you. I pulled up to the window to find another unhappy "broista" who (quickly at least) all but threw my three drinks at me, causing them to slosh about because she hadn't offered a drink carrier or lid stopper decals for any of them. When I asked, she gruffly handed me these things and slammed the window without a word. Oh well - I guess the cold, sad reality of the bleak, and dystopian nightmare we call life in Bakersfield has finally hit on South Chester. The magic is dead. At least I don't feel guilty when I don't tip. read more

We don't have these in LA where I live. I was curious to try it before we hit the road. The drive thru was a long wait, but the coffee was good. It was a nice change besides your typical Starbucks. read more

Never went to this location but, I love their drinks! I personally like my drinks sweeter so this is much better than Starbucks. I do recommend getting the green apple smoothie, mango smoothie, strawberry smoothie, snickerdoodle freeze and picture perfect!!! They're to die for, with Starbucks their drinks all taste the same to me and are always watered down with the amount of ice they add. Overall great place to get drinks! read more

The service was quick, coffee doesn't compare to Starbucks! And it's always a pleasant clean experience with staff. The golden eagle is ALWAYS good read more

Unfortunately I didn't catch her name but she wears glasses, lol!! I went today and she had a very positive attitude and soft voice, she was super nice and welcoming! Drinks came out great! Highly recommend this location! Also they gave us adorable raspberry cow stickers read more

Dutch Bros Coffee - raspberry cow sticker :) - Juice Bars & Smoothies Near Me - Bakersfield, California

Went to the Dutch Brothers on Chester for the first time I've been going to Dutch Brothers ever since they open up on east side everything was good I mean the only difference was the cars got a little backed up and there wasn't too many folks out there with iPads or tablets out there taking order not until it got too busy but other than that it was okay the only drawback is it's all jacked up over there with the streets and all that so that's kind of slows everything up also so it's very hard to get in and out of the parking lot because of the construction on the the road other than that coffee is always good customer service is always on point even at the Chester location won't go back to that one till they finish the street read more

Love this location! Never packed and staff is always friendly. They give suggestions on what you might like. Current fave, cold brew w/vanilla and soft top sooooo good! read more

So freaking slow, every time I've used this location it's been a long wait. You'd never know this was right off the freeway 2 customers in line 15 minute wait for a couple drinks. It doesn't matter if it's 6am or 3:30pm read more

I go to this Dutch Bros a couple times a month and they always have great customer service. This place has horrible service! I've been here a few times thinking that maybe next time I'll get a better service but it's always the same attitude... Rudeness! I'm never coming back to this place. This place is so good Fr if you haven't been here you should get golden egle this place has another drink to it's called grass hopper

A+++ in customer service & quality of drinks. This location just opened up about a week ago & I've already gone twice (don't judge me lol). BOTH times I've gone was a great experience & no wait at all staff is super friendly & engages you in a conversation while you wait. Thank you Ty & Minerva for the great experience both of guys are awesome. Drinks are delicious! I love sweet drinks so I got the banana bread freeze the first time & the snickerdoodle freeze with soft top the second time. Highly recommend this location if you're in the area! This location is right by the freeway so it's in a perfect spot! read more

I was in Bakersfield for business and decided to go to Dutch Bros. Since I wanted to stretch my legs before I began my drive back to Fresno, I parked my car and was immediately greeted by Grace. She was energetic, friendly, and had a beautiful smile. She took my order as I explained to her that the Fresno Dutch Bros had run out of stickers and I was hoping to get one for my younger daughter. Grace said, "no problem" and returned with some stickers. Not only that, while waiting for my order, Grace came back with some different style Dutch Bros stickers for my daughter!! I didn't even have to ask!! Thank you Grace! You made my young daughter super happy!! I also had the honor of speaking with Elijah, who also had a great personality and was very hospitable. Both Grace and Elijah have what it takes to run their own Dutch Bros! Keep up the great work. This Dutch Bros is the spot to be! The entire team there is great and make some great drinks. I will certainly be back when I'm in Bakersfield. Your friend from Fresno, James. read more

Friendly staff!! I wish I had caught the staff members name that helped me, she was very friendly. My first time at Dutch bros, very helpful, explained drinks. When I pulled up at the window for my drink, all the members were greeting each other. Value, 32 oz for $5.75! Little bit of a wait. Their menu is smaller than Starbucks, but I will go back! read more

I believe their names are Ian and Aliah, sorry for the misspelling but they are AMAZING and always make us feel so welcomed, a lot of other team members as well, I've had maybe 2 not so great visits with other team members, but I can for sure tell you to always give a second chance and even third, sometimes they're just not having a good day or have rude customers previous to you, I can honestly say most of them put in the effort to give 100% customer service, this is my favorite place. Thank you for hearing me out when something isn't up to my standards and fixing the issue immediately. read more

Today was my first day going there since opening and honestly did not care for it. They broista or whatever lol who was making our drinks was rude. I told the girl in drive i wanted soft top on one of my drinks and she forgot to let the barista know who was making the drinks so they had to remake my drink (not my fault but i was happy bc the drink was nasty w/o the soft top anyways) so i asked when they remade it if they could also add some extra vanilla hoping it would make my drink taste better. It didn't. But when I asked for some extra vanilla the girl rolled her eyes. I had gotten two other drinks --but they tasted gross as well-- and by seeing her attitude to fix my drink which wasn't my fault in the first place --i knew that if i asked to remake all the other drinks it would have made her more upset and i didn't feel like making anyones job harder or responding rudely back so I went to the columbus location to get them remade only to find out it was owned by a different operator so that I couldn't even get my drinks remade there. Won't go back to this location again. Staff needs more training in customer service and making drinks read more

Employee taking orders kept me waiting while talking to the car in front of me who I assume was her friend. She finally finished her conversation and came to take my order but stopped and ran inside because a bee almost landed on her shirt. Came back out 5 minutes later only to tell the car in front of me the bee landed on her and started having another conversation with her. She didn't even care or notice there were more cars behind me. Very disappointed with the customer service. read more
