I appreciated the aesthetic of this Starbucks. Although I had driven through the drive-thru a few times, I had never gone inside or sat on the large wraparound patio with its tall trees. Today, I chose to do just that. The inside had me conflicted because the interior was so warm and woodsy that I almost stayed inside, but I reminded myself that I wanted to sit on the patio, with the massive trees hanging just above me. So, I sat outside and enjoyed every second. I felt like I was in the mountains of Tennessee; all I needed was the bears to come out. (lol) The patio is a wooden deck that wraps around most of the building, which reminds me to tell you that this Starbucks sits on a hill. Now there is a parking lot, and more parking is just a stone's throw away from the door. I'm sure the patio is twice as beautiful at night. They have these string of lights wrapped around the tree branches and the base of the tree going up the trunk. There is a ton of sitting on the deck, so you don't have to worry that you won't have a place to sit and take in the view. Also, the service was top-notch, and she was the perfect barista. I'm trying to do low-calorie drinks for now. I removed some things like whole milk to nonfat milk. But she told me exactly what to take out and add so my coffee will still have the taste I like. I thought that was so sweet. I will say I will continue to return because of the top-notch service, because I always need help ordering, and most definitely because of the patio! read more

Yes, it's a "generic" Starbucks in a town with better coffee options, but this location has their drive through situation on lock! I really only go through the drive through here, so can't speak to the interior, but this drive through is shockingly fast during peak morning hours. You can easily get through a line of 5 or 6 cars in five minutes. read more

Fix your drive through, I'm begging you. During the morning rush hour, it backs up into the parking lot and intersection because hapless drivers aren't bright, or perhaps awake, enough to leave the way clear. It makes it impossible to turn into the shopping center to get to HEB. All I want is to get my groceries, friends. Please let me in. Maybe better signage, traffic control, or faster service? I just wish this location was more mindful of its neighbors. read more

Easy to get to this location right off Mopac and Parmer. Friendly staff. Only downside is there isn't much space to sit inside. They have 5 or 6 small tables along the window. On a cold day it may be difficult to find a seat. This location would be great on a warm day. They have a deck outside with double the tables. read more

I was recently at the Starbucks near 2505 West Parmer Lane in Austin Texas and I have to say I was extremely disappointed. In every other situation in which they were at full staff; the excellent young women working the counter were both considerate and excellent with customer service. However I believe that it was a Sunday or weekend in which two guys were on duty. The air conditioning was off and the entire place smelled of body oder. At 67 and a person who has been in the workforce for over four decades for various companies; I personally would expect better from that branch that up to now has always been excellent. While this is a very small Starbucks inside, it has great sitting outside. It's well-shaded too. The drive-thru is very busy, so it seems being small isn't hurting business. I ordered thru the app so walked in and waited on my drink.  I saw the employees having good interactions with customers and saw them working well together. I usually don't come to this location. I prefer the local options, but I was closer to this one and wanted an afternoon treat. I've been to different Starbucks and they have the same feeling.... However somehow this one is a little different, the people are super nice. They welcome the customers when they enter. The cashier I had was extra attentive and offered to warm the pastry I bought, such a nice touch. Maybe it's the time of day I came and everyone is a little more relaxed than the rush in the morning. I was able to sit down have my "treat" and don't feel rush out the door. Worst customer service ever and all because of a woman named "Felicia" who I encountered on 07/15/21. Simply I was getting a drink for someone - iced espresso with oatmilk. I've been to at least six other Starbucks in the area and have never run into a single problem. The drink is actually on the menu in the drive thru. But when I tried to order from this shop, I was asked (I believe his name was Angel) how many shots do I want? I don't drink coffee and this drink was not for me; I've ordered this countless times and have never been asked so I told him I just wanted the drink that was on the menu. But he repeatedly told me I had to tell him how many shots I wanted. I kept telling him I didn't know and wanted a "Venti" size and whatever is normal for that. Then he said I needed to speak up... funny how he seemed to hear me quite well up until this point where now he is saying I need to speak up. There seemed to be some miscommunication so I drove forward to the window in hopes of relaying my order and clearing up any confusion. This person was quite annoyed that I drove up to the window and again, I told him I wanted a Venti iced espresso with oatmilk, just as advertised on the menu outside. But again, he asked me how many shots and again, I had to repeat that I do not drink coffee and am ordering for a friend. I let him know that I've ordered from several other Starbucks and have never been asked anything like this and I simply don't know the answer. That's when Felicia decided to step in an assert her "authority". Felicia shoved my credit card back towards me and said "we don't need your business here and you are welcome to go to another location". Just like the other person, I explained to her I was buying this for someone and I myself do not drink coffee so I don't know how many shots. I've never been asked and just asked if they could make what is typical for a Venti and if I could just get the drink that is advertised on the menu outside. But Felicia clearly did not want to help and insisted I just go to another location. This went on for several minutes and ultimately they did make the drink. When I gave it to my friend, she said it tasted fine. So, it seems they actually DO know how to make this without me telling them how many shots. WHY all the arguing? If I don't know how many shots, why can't they make it like the "typical" person would want? EVERY other Starbucks I have been do and ordered this without EVER asking me anything about a number of shots. I am retired military and just moved to Texas and have been overwhelmed by the hospitality and kindness of people here. Even getting my drivers license was an extremely pleasant experience. But here, at THIS Starbucks, they behavior by the employees, especially Felicia, was appalling and quite frankly, they should suspend her for a few weeks. Maybe if she realized she is a "customer service" based business and the value of having a job, maybe she would change her abhorrent behavior! I am so disappointed with my not so great experience this morning. I come to this location often since it's on my way to work, I always do a mobile order. I arrived and told the lady outside my mobile order, she spoke to the lady inside to confirm (heard all of it and heard her confirm my order) so I drove off to get my drink. Pull up to the front and immediately the lady leans out the window saying "well what are you here for?" Like excuse me. Then tells me I have to let someone know about my order or say it at the speaker in such an ugly way. I did tell someone my order and even heard it confirmed AND the lady outside told me they had my order ready. I work in the service industry as well, so I know we have bad days, but that was super unexpected and totally ruined my good mood for the morning. Maybe ask nicely before you catch an attitude. I will return but I hope I have a nicer experience next time. Maybe the nice guy that was at the window should handle customers instead, he is always really sweet! read more

This is a decent Starbucks. I've come here around 10 times so far in the past couple months, and the staff have been pretty consistently friendly! Brightened my day each time I came by to get some work done. As a study spot: I've stopped coming here because imo the seating isn't especially conducive for getting studying due to the location atmosphere (close to highway and lots of cars driving around), and the interior is geared more towards grab and go. I've also noticed that towards the evenings, sketchy characters start to appear. I still stop by once in a while though. read more

And just like every Starbucks, the Starbucks has amazing customer service and employees. They are always so kind and nice, which is amazing considering how early it can be sometimes whenever I go. The cons of this particular location is that they never ever have the ingredients to make a lot of the drinks. I don't think that they have ever had brown sugar for the brown sugar Oatmeal shaken espresso and I have asked for it at least three different times weeks apart from each other. Also, the Starbucks corporate website says that the ham and cheese sandwich is on the menu and back, yet every time I ask for it they claim that it has been discontinued. It is literally on the Starbucks corporate site, So I'm not sure why they think that it is discontinued. The line can get very busy but it moves a lot quicker than the one down Parmer. The line in the morning can get so long though that you cannot park to get inside of the building unless you park across by the panda express and walk. I live right across from the Starbucks so I do go there a lot, but I am continuously frustrated that they don't have the ingredients for at least three of the drinks I'm constantly asking for. I come to the drive thru of this Starbucks daily (for almost 5 years). My drink normally costs $5.14. Today I had exactly $5.13 and they did not accepted it. I ended up paying it with a $20 dollar bill. Also, l always put money in the tip jar (I understand it's for tips); however, I have seen, many times, the cashier take a penny or two if there is a need for change. I drink alot of coffee - mainly Starbucks. I order the same drink every time - size varies. *see pic* It's true, each time, my drink tastes differently but I wouldn't say it's ever bad. Today - OMG - that was a different story. I ordered my drink - Xhot. Like I always do. Today - it was a notch above scalding. I had to wait 15 minutes to drink it. When I took a sip, it didn't taste anything like a white mocha. I looked at the cup and sure enough - it says what I thought I ordered but it in fact tasted like - hot, coffee water. No flavor. The friendliest Starbucks I have been in for as long as I can remember. The manager creates a really energetic vibe. As I walked in I got an incredibly warm welcome. This is a "Tale of Two Experiences in One Day"! My first experience of woe and headache was via the drive-thru where I had ordered a tall dark roast w/a shot and 4 Splenda and a orange/cran scone. I got up to the window and was given a tall Chai...? Then, when I was given my supposed "corrected" order, I flat out asked if it had a shot and 4 Splenda and was assured "yep, everything is in there". About 20mins later I arrive at work and am looking forward to enjoying my last breakfast at my Noon meeting and I take a swig of what is very obviously just a dark roast...NO shot and most definitely NO Splenda to speak of. I was fuming! Seriously? Two chances to get my very simple coffee order right and two very epic fails! My second experience was that of customer service redemption! After the epic coffee fail I called the store and asked to speak to the manager to file my complaint. The MOD, Amy, was very courteous, offered her apologies, and to rectify the situation by offering me a replacement beverage and a $4 off my next purchase "We're sorry" card and said I could pick up at my convenience. So I went during my lunch @5pm and the gal behind the counter knew who I was, gave me my card, and an "Our Bad" drink on the house. There were numerous apologies and a handwritten card from Amy expressing her apologies for the mishap. So even though my morning caffeination was a bust, my experience here (it was my first time visiting this location) went from a very low 1-star to a 4-star experience based on the rarest of things in this day and age: good customer service! Props to this location for not only owning up their mistake, but going above and beyond to make it right. I will definitely be back to use my gift card and see if the positive experience continues. read more

This has to be the worst Starbuck's in the Austin area. I've been to most of them over time. OK, staff, drinks and food are fine, typical of the chain. First off, you pull in and park. Then you're blocked in forever by the drive-thru line, who won't let you back out (well, to their credit, none of them see you, they're all busy texting and doing anything but paying attention to their surroundings). If you go to this store, park at the Chik-Fil-A next door. It's also the smallest store I've ever been to, with probably less than 20 seats inside. Then there's smoking on the patio, which is the only place you can get a seat anyway. Don't know about you folks, but this militant Ex-Smoker really can live without breathing and smelling others smoke. Give this place a miss! read more

This Starbuck's staff are all pretty nice and welcoming but sometimes some workers are stressed and very flustered. Only because this Starbucks is the Starbucks where it is by a Middle School, High school and busy streets- so people come in all the time. There has never been a time when there aren't at least 15-20 people are there. It's a very popular spot, but they'll whip a drink out for you in a decent amount of time :) read more

I have been here a few times since this location has a drive thru and near one of my appointment locations. It is hit or miss with getting orders completely right and or the friendliness of the employees. Getting out of this Starbucks is a kind of pain when traffic lines up at the light to turn on to Parmer. My go to morning coffee. The drive through line can be long and take a while. I've timed it, longest has been 19minutes. However they are always friendly and have given me coffee on the house twice. I tried going inside once because the drive through line was so long, but it doesn't make a difference, you just get in line with all the drive through customers at the end of the day anyway. Might as well stay in your car. Great coffee, nice people. Just took 1 star off because it takes a while, but that's not their fault it's a popular location! read more

This is my favorite Starbucks and it's mostly due to the fantastic patio. It wraps around half of the building and they actually took the time to build it around the huge existing shade trees. It can be noisy because it overlooks Parmer, but it's amusing to watch people drive stupid. The baristas here are all really nice. Is that an Austin thing? Note: the parking lot here is narrow and one-way, but that doesn't stop a lot of people from going the wrong way. Be careful. read more

Aside from seriously having an issue with the burnt taste of Bucky's coffee, the parking lot/drive thru situation of this particular one is so bad that I will probably never go there again. The only way to get to the drive thru is to drive through the narrow (and only) parking lot, and then make a sharp, almost U-Turn into the tiny drive thru corridor. Good luck getting anywhere in the cluster F during rush hour. Do yourself a favor and go to the It's A Grind across the street. read more

I think I drink at Starbucks far too often for my own good. And I don't even drink coffee (unless you count mocha fraps)! Srsly. Anyways... This particular Starbucks is a little slice of heaven tucked away between the Chick-Fil-A and the rest of the over-crowded shopping center that it inhabits, hidden largely from the prying eyes of the MoPac rush hour traffic. The upside of the location is that it's never very crowded. The downside is that the parking lot is tiny, one-way, and I'd be leery of the drive-through if I weren't in a car with the world's smallest exterior size to interior space ratio (Toyota Echo). Tiny car FTW! Beware the curb if you're turning right out of the drive-through, though. Tiny car or not, I've hit that darn thing about half a dozen times. Anyways, enough about the parking and driving and whatnot! How are the drinks here? Well, I've never had a bad drink here. Green tea latte or mocha frap, they always get it right. They even gave me a free drink coupon when they made some tiny mistake like putting whip on a frap when I asked for none. The customer service is pretty awesome too. I get nervous when I'm enough of a regular at a Starbucks to get recognized, but they put my fears to rest! Not long ago, one of the baristas gave me a free drink coupon just because he recognized me at the drive-through and I was a "valuable customer". How cool is that? But I forgot to tip. DOH! read more
