I got 75 pieces to share for a work event, even though they weren't hot when it was time to eat they were still so good. If you microwave them for 10 seconds they are perfect. I ordered over 50 breads for an event just as a walk-in and all the boxes had wonderfully hot sweet bread within 10 mins. They also have lumpia and other Filipino desserts in a glass case you can buy in large quantities. Lumpia, Señorita bread, and some unidentifiable dessert I ate were all good. Recently had some lumpias there that were decent. This place is real close to dominos across the street from mcdonalds its across from Atlantic Plaza. I like to buy my bread in the morning when its at its freshest. Drop kids at school then race over to pick up some of those lil buttery honey drenched pillows. I was greeted by a nice young woman with a smile, always an amazing thing walking into a new place! I got 4 lumpia's & an $8 box of Senorita bread - which consists of 20 pieces. I came here after reading reviews & it did NOT disappoint! The lumpia was hot and delicious, crispy on the outside and amazing texture inside of beef and peas. Starbread was warm and had this amazing buttery sugary bottom, YUM! I think it was baked on top of it, I'm not sure so don't quote me... refer to my pictures for a better understanding. Bonus is, it's located next to my nail shop.. so from now on, every time I get my nails done; I'm getting my Senorita fix too! read more

My two year old love's Starbread and I have finally found an empeñada in the area I enjoy. However, What makes this location stand out is their staff. Humbly amazing, This location is near my nail salon, so we visit often. my most recent visit was after getting a manicure. I stopped in to get my son his bread five pieces for $2. When I went to pay, to my embarrassment I had used all my cash during my nail visit and Payments w/ CC needed to be $5+ . I let the clerk know I couldn't pay , so I would return at another time. Kindly he replied, take it, you son should be able to eat. Can you say heart warming ? For this reason alone I will continue to give Starbread my business. Recently my experience at this location was far below any experience I've ever experienced at this well loved establishment in this community that I have enjoyed since they have been here. When having to deal with a young unstable individual male who chose not to be professional or take in to account any of HIS personal conditions was very volatile while being passive aggressive. I chose to set myself aside requesting for other customers to be served In order to resolve the situation amicably. Moving forward he completely disregarded me and threatened to call the police. He asked if I wanted a refund. Dropped the money in my hands and told me not to come back while on the phone. I tried to give him back the refund and he wouldn't accept the money. He had a very nasty disposition and I left the money on the counter. I didn't leave the scene until I could see he picked up the money from outside the establishment. Furthermore, my other half attempted to reconcile the situation only to be faced with surrendering the bread and authorities called again with no customer recourse. The employee did not apologize and we were left completely empty handed. It's sad that this employee represents this establishment. read more

Filipino treats like hopia and various bite-sized kakanin are great. Cross-over appeal and tastiness abounds with their veggie+meat lumpia and empanadas.
