I've been going here for about 6 years now. The donuts are really good and the service is fast. The staff is really nice, my 5yr old and I go to take her class fresh donuts once a quarter. However, the shopping center is definitely sketchy from all the homeless people hanging out. I've had people asking for money outside the donut shop, but this is out of the control of the staff. This is my dad's favorite donut shop and we were in the area today. I haven't been here in a very long time, so I was curious to see what their special donuts were. They encourage social distancing, by having no more than 4 people at a time. Masks are required and the staff wear gloves. My usual go to is a Chocolate Old Fashion, but my dad informed me that this place tends to have random speciality donuts as well. Looking at the various choices, they had a Cookie Monster like donut, and Elmo Donut, Strawberry Shortcake, and a M&M donut. I had to try the M&M donut. The base donut is a glazed donut. They add strawberry frosting and M&Ms to it. It cost $2 for this sort of donut (regular is $1.35 I believe). And it was extremely delicious. It wasn't overly sweet or anything at all. The area is questionable at times so be sure you've locked your car and hid any valuables from plain view... just in case. The inside is hollow. 1 slice of bacon and a half of a link. For like 8.65 plus .55 if you use a card I would appreciate a whole link in the sandwich. I can't justify that purchase anymore. This is more than just a food experience. So my brother, Sean, he is with down syndrome and with Brain Calcification, had been struggling with his food intake lately. He is a picky eater and he only eats soft food. He stopped eating his corn dogs lately and had been craving strawberry donuts. So I came to The Best Donuts and ordered a dozen of assorted donuts but just more of the sprinkled ones. I was just about to set up directions to this place when I turned to my left and VIOLA there it is. I've been by Walmart a lot of times. How did I not notice this donut shop before? Three booths and a table to sit down and enjoy one's breakfast/snack/lunch. First thing that caught my eye was this delectable sandwich. Bagels, ham, eggs, and other stuff too! Tons of donuts: old fashioned, twists, glaze, chocolate, donut holes, sugar, maple, sprinkle. A new thing that I saw here was that they had banana flavored donuts and blueberry flavored donuts. Had to stick with my usual sugar donut here. It wasn't warm like fresh off out of the oven warm. I'd say this is because they open at 4am and I didn't come there at that time. It was fluffy though and soft. It didn't taste stale and there wasn't a lot of sugar, like no excess sugar. I didn't have any cash on me so I had to pay with my debit card. BEST DONUT shop in all of the 925. Yup, I said it. They have the BEST breakfast croissant hot link sandwiches. This is the main reason I will drive the extra 15 mins just to get to this shop!
