Uncooked Stromboli

Ordered a Cheese Stromboli. Will never order there again. Cheese was not melted and dough was not cooked. This is the second time I've tried the food and was just as disappointed this time around.

Excellent food! Ordered delivery while here on business. Meatballs were delicious and perfectly cooked and the antipasto was fresh and huge. Delivery was quick and overall was very pleased. Ordered again for a second night since it was so good the first time!

I ordered a cold ham& cheese and got a stale ass slimy sandwich. rude people poor service bad business

Was craving a meatball grinder and a Greek salad, they had both, and were on my way to work.

This is a fun and quirky pizza place. We came here while on vacation nearby after receiving reviews…read morefrom friends and were not disappointed. Despite arriving on a Saturday (during a holiday weekend) at lunch, only one other table was taken. We ordered a slice of pepperoni pizza; Buffalo wings and fries; and chicken nuggets and fries for our kid. Food came up within about 10-15 minutes. The wings/fries were first and were fantastic though unlike wings I have ever had. They appeared breaded and coated in a seasoning spice mixture that was pleasant though not hot (and certainly not reminiscent of Buffalo, NY, where wings come from). The mountain of freezer fries were perfectly crispy and lots of ketchup in serving-size cups were provided. The chicken nuggets were clearly from a bag and strongly reminded me of the white/dark meat nuggets from McDonalds from when I was a kid. Again lots of fries too. The pizza arrived a few minutes later and was huge. And different. A slice was practically a whole pizza and there was lots of pepperoni on it. The sauce was thick and a bit sweet. The crust varied from thin to thick but in all places were very crunchy... like a cracker. I loved it, but my wife not so much. The price for everything including several $2 bottles of water was $38. That isn't out of line for the amount of food you get, but the breakdown was weird. The pizza was $7 and that was a tremendous bargain. The children's nuggets and fries was $4 and I wonder how they can afford that. The 15 wings/fries was $23, and that seemed like an awful lot. But... taken together it was fair. In the future I might just pig out on pizza and leave the wings/fries alone. My wife liked the wings more though, so... The staff were super friendly, including Tony Liquori in his trademark skipper hat. The restaurant was "clean" but dive-bar like, with bric-a-brac all over the place. Fun and filling are the two best adjectives I can think of, and I can't wait to return!

Pizza slices were enormous and only $4 and a wrap was only $8-10. You can't beat those prices especially when the food is good. Do yourself a favor and stop here, just remember it is cash only. Their food isn't the best in some cases however it seemed busy when we got here and it started getting quiet once we started eating. The waiter seems nice when giving us orders. The chefs should probably do better on cooking. The wings were not the best as it had kore bone than breast and Fried OREOs had slimy dough that almost looked raw. Their pizza however was really good as well as an Eggplant Parm meal (well cooked). I want to come back here soon but since Liquori's Pizza not far from this restaurant is still my go-to for Mass. Pizza and it's one of my favorite pizzerias to ever eat out, I prefer that pizza over Nicky's. We'll see what happens next year. Nicky's however is somewhat of an improvement from over a decade ago when I last ate here and thought it was kinda unpleasant experience with customer service and their food. Overall, somewhat average place to eat. I hear a lot of people come there to eat before or after they go to Six Flags.

What can I say... I'm a millennial who loves nostalgia…read more So when it came time to meet up with a dear friend back home, where else would we meet but Red Rose? We've both celebrated many a special occasion here in the 90s and this time was no different. I was extremely happy to see that absolutely nothing had changed. That kind of reliability is exactly what you want from your favorite restaurant back home. You basically want to leave it in a time capsule and walk back in after 30 years to find it right as you had left it. The place was bustling per usual. The server was fantastic. The wine was great. The house salad and house dressing were so good they made me want to scarf down vegetables. But the meatball grinder... THE MEATBALL GRINDER!!! (I now live in a place where we call them subs, but nothing compares to a good grinder.) It was culinary perfection: the bread was golden and crispy on the outside and soft and warm on the inside. The perfect balance of bread, sauce, cheese, and meatball. And the flavor of the meatball itself was perfectly seasoned and balanced. I'm already 100 miles away and I'm still thinking about it and will be for days... weeks... MONTHS! Until next time

They gave us a buzzer, told us it would be about 25 minutes, and we went into the bar to have a glass of wine and wait. I must say the chaos was beautifully controlled. Lots of room in the bar, and a spot to order drinks if you couldn't get a seat at the bar. Generous pour on the wine. And sure enough, about 25 minutes later our table was ready. Waitress was friendly, helpful, professional. Servings were more than ample. Fried calamari appetizer was delicious, crispy, not at all greasy. My daughter really enjoyed her chicken dish. I, however, was disappointed, and I blame myself. I should know better than to order eggplant at a restaurant. If I'm ordering eggplant rollatini, I'd like to taste the eggplant. I don't know why restaurants insist on slicing it so thin that you can't actually taste the eggplant, just the breading. It's not that it's an expensive ingredient, it's gotta be cheaper than the cheese....anyway, I'd go back but hopefully I have learned my lesson - if I want to taste eggplant, I'll cook it myself.
