Great post Six Flags meal especially if you have hungry little thrill riders. These portions are ginormous. We ordered a medium supreme and a medium large cheese and pepperoni. Everyone had to eat a minimum of 4 slices each to finish 2 of the 3 pizzas. We all burnt our tongues because we were so hungry but the crust and crunch were worth it. Placed very large order on July 5th. 1 party size and one large pizzas, onion rings and cheese sticks. After several calls and over 2 hrs. of waiting - we finally got our not very hot food. Very disappointed!!! We will now be ordering elsewhere. read more

Family stopped here before we went to Six Flags so we didn't have to pay absurd prices for food in the park and we were not disappointed at Nicky's. Pizza slices were enormous and only $4 and a wrap was only $8-10. You can't beat those prices especially when the food is good. Do yourself a favor and stop here, just remember it is cash only. I found out that this restaurant is owned by Nicky whose brother Antonio also owns rival Liquori's Pizza up in West Springfield. Their food isn't the best in some cases however it seemed busy when we got here and it started getting quiet once we started eating. The waiter seems nice when giving us orders. The chefs should probably do better on cooking. The wings were not the best as it had kore bone than breast and Fried OREOs had slimy dough that almost looked raw. Their pizza however was really good as well as an Eggplant Parm meal (well cooked). I want to come back here soon but since Liquori's Pizza not far from this restaurant is still my go-to for Mass. Pizza and it's one of my favorite pizzerias to ever eat out, I prefer that pizza over Nicky's. We'll see what happens next year. Nicky's however is somewhat of an improvement from over a decade ago when I last ate here and thought it was kinda unpleasant experience with customer service and their food. Overall, somewhat average place to eat. I hear a lot of people come there to eat before or after they go to Six Flags. read more

OKAY, so the five stars wouldn't be about ambiance. But it's about EVERYTHING ELSE that is more important! Give me tablecloths and fine china with moderately good food, and I will RUN to Nicky's Pizza every time, even with their vintage tables and modest decor. It's clean and comfortable enough. So... First of all, the food is incredibly delicious and memorble. The pizza sauce is so amazing I want to go back for all of their pasta dishes. Everything is homemade, and I think they must be hiding an Italian grandmother back there somewhere, cooking up an authentic savory storm. The crust is fabulous, including their cauliflower crust. No pizza in the area even comes close to being this good on quality products (NO CANOLA EVER), taste, and preparation. Second, we tried the homemade clam chowder. Wow. If this is the example of New England chowder, it ROCKS. Third, this place gives family-owned and family-run a good name. Nicky hires his family. Tony, his son, and the spokesperson at the counter, couldn't be friendlier or more efficient. You feel like family even as a customer. He will chat, but his eye is always scanning, making sure every order is perfect. And by the time he introduced me to Giani, Pat, Enzo and problably someone i missed (maybe that grandmother), I was sure it was a happy family. It says something about a man whose relatives want to work with him. We haven't indulged in fried pickles, poutain, fried dough, or much else--but we will. I don't know why, other than the 8 mile drive, I don't go here more, but I will now that I have re-visited and recalled how good it all is--and very affordable! They only deliver in Agawam and Feeding Hills--not Enfield sadly, and they only take cash, so we imagine that is one reason their prices have stayed so low. Try Nicky's Pizza. Never in a million years if you told me I'd find the hands down the best slice of pizza I've had in my life at a random town in Massachusetts after attending six flags theme park, I would've said you're insane... I've been around the world due to my work and ate a lot of pizza. This place nailed every aspect of a good slice. Crisp bottom, seasoned sauce, great meat/veg (I had the combo), crispy crust and great cheese!!!! The slice was GIANT too. Well worth your money and they actually give a damn about the food. Walking into the place it is definitely that local mom and pop feel. You can tell people in the community there know them and love the food too. Felt like a great casual atmosphere and the owner was great and so was the staff. If you're passing through EAT the pizza here, you won't regret it!!! There's only one way to describe this hidden gem of a pizza joint. LEGENDARY. in all seriousness I've been hitting this place up for years, any time we are in the Six Flags area this is a no brainer. The staff is super friendly the pizza sizes and quality are nothing short of unbelievable and I promise you won't be disappointed. I've traveled all over the world, and I love food everywhere and there are some pretty great pizza places but this one is hands down either 1st or second place out of everywhere I've ever tried. Why have I not ordered here before? This place is one of the best pizza places in the area. I got the small Hawaiian cheese pizza, a large chicken parm grinder, and a side of fries. The pizza was very cheesy (just the way I like it) and the small was a very generous size. I also like how the crust and bottom wasn't burnt (I don't know why I tend to get burnt ones from local pizza places). The chicken parm grinder was also generously filled with meat and cheese. The crispy side of fries tasted delicious and was still hot by the time we ate it at home. The best part about this place is that it's also inexpensive and quick! My first stop at Nicky's was a pleasant one, I ordered a cold Italian Combo with lettuce, tomato vinegar and oil; I was surprised at how quickly it came out. An Italian sub depends on a go sub roll this one was semi soft and tasty as was the variety of sliced Italian deli meats. A half combo was more than enough and at $5.50 a nice value indeed. I felt the quality of ingredients was well above average so I'm eager to return and try one of Nicky's pizzas. read more

This is right on Main St. near MA 57 so if you need a pizza fix before Six Flags New England this is a good idea (and they deliver in town as well). Pizza is done as specified 7 got a good crust so that's good. Curly fries are spot on & same with the grinder I did so that is good. My boyfriend and I were headed to six flags last night and we were hungry and we wanted to find a place to eat that didn't cost an arm and a leg(anywhere at six flags). As we were driving we spotted nickys and decided to pull in and give it a shot. On the outside it looks like a small little side of the road hut, you can tell it has been there a while. We almost walked out but we mutually decided that this was probably gonna be our best bet. And it most definitely was our best decision. We both ordered grinders, his being a steak and cheese and mine being a chicken parm. When we got our grinders, they were huge! And the chicken parm was super cheesey and saucey, while his steak and cheese was also cheesey and loaded with chopped beef. Both of us were amazed at how delicious they were and how well they were made, and for just 20 bucks, how could we possibly complain?!?! Let's start w cash only, seriously its 2019. Then I ordered a cutlet grinder that they didn't have on the menu, again what Italian, pizza restaurant doesn't have chicken cutlet grinder. After all this I have to pick a drink from a cooler and Pepsi products only. Meanwhile about eight guys are hanging around behind the counter yuking it up. They were nice and polite but not a nice place at all. I then get my grinder and it was made with frozen pre made tenderloins like I buy at Costco. And tomatoes the were mealy and far from fresh.
