Since moving into town I have only gone to two places to get my pizza and grinders; Antonio's Pizza & Frankie's Pizza. Wanted to try something new and from what I read Rinaldi's was the place to try. Read the reviews about the meatball grinder and figured I would go with that. They are indeed a great meatball. I ended up eating it upside down with how all the sauce made its way to the bottom and opened up. I will say the roll held up and did not crumble like a lot of rolls do so was pleased with the minimal mess. Looking forward to trying other options here. read more

The pizza we had awhile back was amazing. We just had two roast beef grinders that had great flavor. The bread was delicious, toasted perfectly... great amount of meat , fresh lettuce and tomato , nice slices of provolone ... not that see through s$&t at the other joints. Rinaldis on Enfield Street by the Longmeadow line has been there for years. It was always ok but the new owners have made it a hit. I order so much from them that I'm known by my address. Weather it's Stephanie on the phone or the cooks that deliver, their customer service is top notch. Not only do they have the best pizza but anything you order is fantastic! They always say 45 minutes but they always show up in 35 minutes smiling. Forget about Jimmy's or any other pizza pub, Rinaldi's knocks it out of the park! I've tried so many items on their menu and I'd like to suggest a couple items but with them, that's impossible. Everything they make is great! read more

The NEW Rinaldi's makes excellent pizza! perfectly cooked, delicious crust, with that old fashioned cornmeal sprinkle on the oven floor! Keeping it real the service is okay nothing good or bad, a bad thing about the place it's self there's no where really to park and it's such a small crowded place there was like 3 people in there and just felt claustrophobic. Great thin crunchy Greek style pizza! Their crust is so good that sometimes I order with no sauce. However, I love that they have other options other than just marinara. I order two pies every time and an app. The only request I ever make is for the pizza to be cut like a pie instead of their typical square cut. Wow. I was actually afraid to try the latest iteration of Rinaldis, having grown up hanging out at the longmeadow store.... Was afraid I'd be disappointed. Dear reader, I was not! It was some of the best food I've eaten in recent years.... We did a few pasta meals w/ chicken... the chicken was perfectly cooked and the sauces were on point. Generous portions and the soup was delicious. Moving on to the gourmet pita wrap! Again, wow. The pita was very warm and pillowey and the gyros perfect in all ways! Also tried the chicken quesadilla: tasty and stuffed full of tender perfectly seasoned chicken and cheese. The menu is huge... which could be a liability long term... hope not. My daughter surprised me and ordered half ham grinder and onion rings from rinaldi's. The half ham grinder bread came with one end piece and the other half a middle piece. Mayonnaise n lettuce clumped together in the middle of the ham. No cheese and the bread dry. Not sure who made that grinder, but since the original owners sold the place it has not been the same. We decided to try this place because we wanted pizza on a Sunday night and all the usual places we call we're out of pizza dough. Needless to say ... it was really good! The tomato sauce tasted really fresh and the crust was soft with a crispy outside layer. The folks working there were also nice! Would recommend trying this place. The bad ratings I read on here seems to be related to non pizza things, which I've never tried so I can't really attest, but if you want good pizza, be sure to check this place out! read more

So this Rinaldi's is under new management. We decided to give it a try and had a pizza delivered to our home. I specifically asked for them to not come early because I had to pick kids up at practice and I would not be back before the determined time. Of course they got there early. I got a phone call from the driver who waited for me which was wonderful. I have a very fussy pizza eater in my house who was concerned about trying a new pizza place. She took one bite and said "this is good" and then proceeded to inhale the pizza. We will return and look forward to our second pie from these guys. read more

The couple behind the counter were SO sweet(guessing that they are the owners), we didn't feel like we were inconveniencing them at all. They were just so great I can't get over it. We got a grilled chicken salad and a meatball grinder. Both were fabulous. The salad had a ton of chicken and melty mozzarella ... so yummy. So large meatball grinder was huge and very tasty. We took a gamble and ordered a plain pepperoni pizza tonight. It was a gamble because we read some bad reviews but the bad reviews were for either pretty lame reasons or from a long time ago. Thus we went for it and we're glad we did! The bread crust was crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. The cheese was fresh and the tomato sauce was fresh as well. They were sufficiently pleased with their entrees, which came with a salad and fresh bread. My pizza was tasty; a crisp chewy crust with a higher edge and a blend of flavorful cheese. My wife and I have been lifelong Enfield, CT residents, and never tried Rinaldi's. This town has an over-abundance of 'Pizza/Grinder' shop restaurants, so we decided to take a chance and try one that's been around for years. Their menu is substantial. They offer everything you'd want in a Pizza place. Nice variety of Pizzas, Grinders, Dinners, Appetizers, etc. (The grape leaves appetizer and gyro pizza caught our eye immediately!) They deliver, which is another plus, though one Yelp customer complained it took well over an hour for delivery, and I just wasn't willing to chance that. We chose to pick the food up. We ordered two small pizzas...a seafood and a gyro pizza... The toppings were very good on both...nice portion. The cheese blend was very boring...I'm going to guess it's heavily mozzarella based, but I'm not a pizza genius...it just wasn't a cheese blend that impressed me at all. The crust was disappointing. First off, it wasn't a 'golden crust' as one reviewer had noted...secondly, it was just as bland and boring as the cheese blend. To me, this is the most important aspect of a pizza...the crust has to be tasty...thin, deep, undercooked, overcooked...that's preference...but, it has to be 'tasty'. This was very plain. It was 'bread'. My wife took both the pizzas and baked them in the oven for a bit...that helped the crispiness... Overall...it certainly was NOT 'bad food'. The ingredients were fresh, the toppings were very good, it just wasn't anything we would order again. Like I said, Enfield has a LOT of other places to get a pizza or grinder from. Rinaldi's wasn't a complete disappointment by any means...it was acceptable...we were trying something new. We won't be trying them again. I ordered delivery, the woman that took my order was extremely pleasant. The delivery took ~30 minutes to arrive and the food was quite good. I ordered the spaghetti and meat sauce (I'd only suggest adding more "sauce" as it is mostly meat. Tip: add 1/2 can of tomato sauce to it and it's perfect). When I order Rinaldi's to go just the sound of them saying "Rinaldi's, pick up or delivery?" on the phone makes me feel like I'm falling in love with my beautiful wife for the very first time all over again. When I open the pizza box I imagine myself as a man with poor eyesight who finally received prescription glasses for the first time. As I open the box the cheese glows like an array of sunshine. I take a bite. *crunch* the dough tastes as if it was a gift from the almighty Greek god Zeus. Still a frequent take-out customer, I recently decided to stop again for eat-in pizza. The cooks were busy with take out orders, but there weren't many people in the restaurant dining. Our experience was very different this time. Our order was taken promptly, our drinks were brought right out and the pizza came fairly quickly (as far as pizza goes).
