Curly Fries, 6/10
Jodi S.

Storefront was clean and quiet as I got an early dinner to go. Lovely young lady helped me check out and was very helpful and polite. Pizza- large with extra cheese. Good solid pizza! Large Curly Fries- good, but I'd prefer more spices/seasoning.

Decided to try Ann's pizza since Enfield forum had most votes for best pizza. I dined in for lunch. It was a little hole in the wall place, with one lady at the counter who also took care of the tables. Service was great, except if a long line of people come in, or phone calls come in then expect to wait a little bit if you order a drink. The lady was very friendly and I did not mind waiting. The pizza was good- I wouldn't say great. But it's typical pizza for the area. Thick crust and sweeter sauce than I tend to like but it was good if that's your preference.

I recently moved to Enfield and am searching for the best pizza. My 4 stars are based only on the pizza. It was delicious. Crunchy crust. Nice sauce. Small or large. No medium. Friendly service. I will be back here for more.

I haven't been to Ann's in almost 4 years since they were sold; if there is a change in their pizza since new ownership it is almost imperceptible. The pizza sauce and cheese are excellent, I would say no change there, the crust has a crispy crunchy exterior with a soft bread like interior. The pizza crust flavor profile is ever so slightly different but the pizza at Ann's still remains very very good and characteristic of what a quality Greek pie should be. Prices are very moderate, you can really stretch a dollar here; the service was top notch from menu to check, check it out.

Returned to the area a few weeks ago and naturally wanted to stop by and get a couple of pizzas with my family. It has been nearly 4 years since I had a Pizza at Ann's. To be honest I pretty much forgot what the pizza tasted like. We tried the Cheese and Pepperoni. Instantly I remembered how good it was and the taste came right back to me. I really wish we had pizza like this down in Florida. Their sauce is very unique, as is whatever they use on the crust. Cheese pizza was cooked perfectly, but like before I should have asked for the pepperoni to be cooked a little longer. I like my cheese to have that nice golden color all the way through with little dots of brown. If the cheese is not cooked enough (still white) I really notice a difference in taste. The pepperoni was cooked great and had little crispy edges that give it a unique flavor.

Great pizza, fresh crust, best combo pizza around. Spinach pie calzone and wing zings are also great.

My local go-to for pizza, calzones, and grinders. I always order on their website, and never had a problem, never a mistake unlike others.

The pizza is mediocre at best and I give it three stars but the young ladies on staff are simply wonderful and they get five stars.

The best pizza in Enfield, in our opinion. Just take out now. Also many dinners and sandwiches/grinders to choose from.

This is one of two main eateries inside Enfield Square…read more Moz Pizza & Grinders serves up a variety of 14" thin crust pizzas. hot & cold grinders, wraps, pizza by the slice, chilled desserts, and cooler drinks (Coke products, protein drinks, bottled water). The place is order at the counter or online and there are a few booths and tables. I stopped by Moz after taking a brief stroll through this old mall, which has seen better days. I ordered a slice of cheese pizza ($4 plus tax) and a 12: Chicken Parm Grinder ($14 plus tax) with peppers, onions, & mozzarella cheese. The slice of pizza was reheated in the oven and I ate this here as I waited for my sub. The thin crust cheese pizza slice (1/4 of pie) had a firm crust topped with red sauce and browned cheese on top, which was pretty good. The grinder took a while since after making it, they were using a hot press on the grinder. Once it was bagged and ready to go., I decided to go out to the vehicle to enjoy. However, the grinder roll was hot, but the fillings including the cut pieces of breaded chicken, red sauce, peppers, onions, and cheese were not hot, but warm and cold. I believe they should have oven baked this grinder instead of using a hot press meant for paninis for best results. I decided to wait until I got home to reheat my grinder in the toaster oven, which was pretty decent overall.

The charcoal along the crust was a necessary addition. Buffalo Ranch Chicken was a beautiful sight and was the pizza that got me to try this place. Unfortunately it was not as flavorful as I hoped, the cilantro overly garnished, and neither the Buffalo sauce nor Ranch stood out. Good for looks and photo ops. Pepperoni, while not was a popular choice via through website was may favorite. Pepperoni was crisped along its rounded edges while not too greasy. Making it their own, there was an extra addition of Parmesan cheese which I found enriching. It was a great enhanced spin on the basic pepperoni pizza. Margarita, one of their most popular also didn't wow me but it was good. The tomato sauce was sweet however I wish there was more Mozzarella or just larger slices. It also seemed they added cheese on the entire pizza, having a general cheese flavor throughout the whole slice. Service: Very kind and genuine people. Quick service and the time stamp on my online order was met almost on the dot. Ambiance: This made Moz their own place and somewhere I have never seen before. Of Southeastern Asian ownership, the music and decorating in the shop reflected this. Additionally the style and color of some of the pizza toppings remind me of such flavors. Overall it was a relaxed and welcoming spot.

The restaurant is pleasant and has a basic indoor and outdoor seating area. I was the only person who ate there, although they seemed to have a steady takeout business. I ordered a Small Supreme pizza in advance and it was ready and hot on time. I'm not sure if there is a specific Guatemalan pizza style, or if this Aurora's is just a pizza place run by people with a Guatemalan cooking background. The crust was doughier and chewier than most pizzas I eat in Connecticut. Supreme pizzas at most CT pizzerias tend to have very similar toppings. Aurora's had a lot more going on though. In addition to some common ingredients like pepperoni and peppers, Aurora's had ham, jalapeños and a sausage type that was maybe sliced chorizo? The pizza was pretty good. There was maybe a bit too much going on topping-wise and the crust was chewier than I prefer, but Aurora's would be good to try if you like a chewy pizza. They also had some Guatemalan meal options. I would go way that way when I visit next time. Four stars

They know your name, your drink, and they make you feel like you belong there. The waitstaff is just as strong. They hustle, they're friendly, and they don't miss much. If you want a place to watch a game, this is it. Soccer, basketball, golf, NASCAR, even badminton, it doesn't matter. The TVs are everywhere, the sound is right, and the crowd is into it.
