Stopped into grab a 16" Chicken Parm grinder and a large order of fries for takeout. Ann's is my local neighborhood Pizza shop. The service is always friendly and prompt. It's a cute little place with a small number of tables to sit at if you're inclined. I always just get takeout myself. As you can see by the pics below the food looks delicious! I always get "extra sauce" on my hot grinders because that's the way I like them.......sloppy! the large fries are good sized and I saved the second half of the chicken parm for later.......lotta good food. I've read other reviews that say Ann's prices are high, I don't agree with that. I think the prices are fair for what you're getting. I don't really have anything negative to say about Ann's. Decided to try Ann's pizza since Enfield forum had most votes for best pizza. I dined in for lunch. It was a little hole in the wall place, with one lady at the counter who also took care of the tables. Service was great, except if a long line of people come in, or phone calls come in then expect to wait a little bit if you order a drink. The lady was very friendly and I did not mind waiting. The pizza was good- I wouldn't say great. But it's typical pizza for the area. Thick crust and sweeter sauce than I tend to like but it was good if that's your preference. read more

Not good. Not good at all. Frozen chicken tenders on a sub roll that was so hard it hurt my mouth, topped with flavorless sauce and cheese. Tiny extra cup of sauce is $1.50. I used to like this place, it was always wicked over priced for what they offered but at least the food was good, and it was correct. Well tonight the food sucked, the customer service blew, and it was way too expensive. I haven't been to Ann's in almost 4 years since they were sold; if there is a change in their pizza since new ownership it is almost imperceptible. The pizza sauce and cheese are excellent, I would say no change there, the crust has a crispy crunchy exterior with a soft bread like interior. The pizza crust flavor profile is ever so slightly different but the pizza at Ann's still remains very very good and characteristic of what a quality Greek pie should be. Returned to the area a few weeks ago and naturally wanted to stop by and get a couple of pizzas with my family. It has been nearly 4 years since I had a Pizza at Ann's. To be honest I pretty much forgot what the pizza tasted like. We tried the Cheese and Pepperoni. Instantly I remembered how good it was and the taste came right back to me. I really wish we had pizza like this down in Florida. Their sauce is very unique, as is whatever they use on the crust. Cheese pizza was cooked perfectly, but like before I should have asked for the pepperoni to be cooked a little longer. I like my cheese to have that nice golden color all the way through with little dots of brown. If the cheese is not cooked enough (still white) I really notice a difference in taste. I cannot possibly say enough good things about Ann's Pizza. Now, to be fair, all that I have ever had from Ann's is their pizza, but it's just so good that I can never talk myself into getting anything else! They market their pizza as having a golden crust, and golden indeed it is! I have no idea what they do to get it that way, but man is it fantastic. I've never visited a restaurant that can make the same exact menu item as consistently delicious as Ann's can. It comes out exactly the way I want it every single time. I've ordered delivery here numerous times. The food is delicious and quick. We usually order online, easy. Pizza is thick and fluffy - some don't like this but I do. I hate thin greasy crust, this is not like that. All ingredients looked fresh. Online if you order curly fries you get the option to have them crispy or soft. Been in Enfield for 6 months or so and have only tried Enfield pizza which is just ok in my opinion, we order there for the convenience since its right around the corner. However Ann's is definitely going to be the NEW family pizza spot. We got a large hamburger which fed my family 5. Every one of us loved this from the sauce to the cheese and my favorite part the crust which was perfect! Can't wait to try more from their menu! Sooo maybe I got them on an off night.... I was tired, and after a looong day I was longing for some pizza and I was told that they make the best. Maybe I am spoiled with being able to enjoy Santarpios pizza in East Boston, or Riverside in Ipswich MA.... but this was very disappointing!! I have Anne's deliver regularly and the food is always fresh and hot. I have tried the pasta dishes and the grinders and they are always delicious and for me anyway! Good sized portions. I get 2 full meals from there dinners and a easy 2 from Ann's large grinders. I have been getting great food from Ann's for years and it's always been great ! Got my basic..cheese pizza, but folks around me were loading up on the entrees which I will be sure to try when I go back. When you walk in the door, it reminds me a Pizza Stop I frequently visited back in Torrington, Ct years ago. The staff- treats you like family! Very accommodating. Ordered online (which is always a plus for me), and was told delivery would be at appx 6:30. Arrived at 6:13, both piping hot and just as ordered. Absolutely delicious. I have a hard time finding a chicken cutlet grinder I really like ... this will be my go to from now on. And word to the wise ... a whole can easily be split between 2 people read more

Tried this pizza place recently and it is fantastic! The crust is delicious as well as the pizza itself. I also tried the fried mozzarella which was so good, although I was surprised to find out that for $7 you only receive one piece of fried mozzarella. That was disappointing. I have had pizza here countless times. I actually drive from a different town to get it. I never will eat their pizza again. The staff is rude. I have dealt with them only bc the food was usually good. Just ordered a pizza from them friday night. Got home started eating pizza from the outside tasted good. Got an inside piece and the taste of it made me gag and I spit it out. My husband looked smelled the piece i had bitten and started checking his inside piece. I'm guessing the dough was either dropped or something spilled on it and instead of making me a pizza on fresh dough they kept going on contaminated dough. The interior pieces were soggy and foul tasting and smelling. All day saturday I was sick. I dont know what they did to that pizza but I'll never eat their food again.
