Can't even call this a steak grinder...

We ordered a steak and cheese grinder, small pizza onion rings and ravioli. They called back saying that there was no ravioli even thought it was on the menu. The food arrived late and the "grinder" had one half slice of deli steak. This is hardly what I would call a sandwich. For over $50 plus a tip I would NEVER waste it on this ever again. When I tried to call to figure this out they would not answer the phone. It's almost as they knew they screwed us over. I would recommend anyone considering this service to go to J&G. Much more in tune with what good quality should be.

The BEST gluten free cauliflower pizza crust! This is the pesto chicken, artichoke heart and red pepper pizza.

We have another favorite meal from Gino's, eggplant Parmesan! I am an eggplant Parmesan connoisseur; I try it at least once at most places that offer it. There are very few places I will order it from and right now Geno's is right up there with Max A Mia's and J&G's! I'm already looking forward to ordering it again. The dish comes with your choice 4 pasta shapes that usually comes with marinara sauce (I asked for butter and parm). Also worth mentioning, the pasta was incredibly perfectly cooked, and the rolls were fluffy and fresh. Also comes with a salad. The portion is so generous we had 2 meals from it.

The worst Stromboli (if you can call it that) I've ever had.
Gia D.

This was the worst experience we've had since we moved to this area. Delivery took forever and when we did get it, it was extremely greasy...I've never seen a deep fried Stromboli or a Stromboli with ricotta....I couldn't even eat it it was so disgusting. My husband's was just as bad. We will never go back.

Tuna sub, where's the tuna?
Stephani M.

I ordered 2 tuna subs and a garden salad ,no olives & house dressing, the cost was $35.00. I got a extremely thin smear of tuna, only bread and veggies in some areas. The salad had olives on it, and the "house dressing was a packet of Ken's Italian. I called @ 9:09 to fix the problem, they didn't answer There phone, even though their hours are until 9:30. There are so many pizza & sub joints to select from. This one didn't even make a blip on my radar. I won't be back.

Pizza was pretty good but not a big fan of the crust. It's very dry/hard for my taste. Other food we've had from them is good!

Our family stopped by to try this pizza and we're very satisfied. My husband (who is from NY) said it was a delicious NY slice!

What stands out for me is the service. The waitress knew my family, and even knew their typical orders. My mom likes to order a dish that is no longer on the menu but they make it special. That definitely earns a star. It's located in a dumpy looking plaza with a banged up parking lot and is kind of in the middle of nowhere, but if you're in the area it's worth a try for sure. I haven't had their pizza in years but it used to be one of my favorite places for pizza. They have great options for kids like a mini single person pizza.

Nothing fancy here, but we sure enjoyed our lunch a lot…read more I got a cup of beef vegetable soup which seemed quite a bit larger than a usual cup, so at $2.95 it was a steal. The broth was hot and flavorful, and it came with a ton of vegetables and potatoes and tender beef cubes. We both went for salads- a small Greek at $6.95 and a small Chef also at $6.95. We asked for both dressings on the side (only the Chef Salad was compliant) and we asked to swap out Swiss cheese for mozzarella on the Chef. They sure came through with a snow blanket of mozzarella across the top of the bowl. My Greek salad was very good- with olives, pepperoncini, onion and pepper slices, and a lot of Feta. There was also a lot of dressing in the bottom of my bowl, which is not what you expect when you order your dressing on the side. The Chef salad was great- with a generous amount of Ham, Turkey, Cheese and hardboiled Egg. I checked out their menu to see what else they had and saw a lot of pizzas, grinders, wraps, salads, sandwiches, seafood, burgers and grilled choices, broasted chicken, and Italian entrees. Honestly, if you can't find something to suit your palate here, shame on you. Pricing is very reasonable, our two salads plus the soup and a tip cost us just $20.

A staple in the Simsbury community for many many years, I think over 60!…read more My friend made the journey up from Farmington and met me for dinner here, and it was a wonderful experience From the moment we walked in, we were greeted friendly and seated Our friendly server came over and took our order for drinks. We both ordered pink lemonades. I was craving a burger so I had a 1/3 pound burger and then included a sauce and toppings from like a McDonald's Big Mac burger. My friend ordered a cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato mayonnaise, and onion We ordered a large order of onion rings to accompany our burger After a 5 to 7 minute, wait the burgers arrived! My burger arrived, exactly as I ordered a medium rare. This burger was hand formed 1/3 pound of fresh hamburger. It was so juicy. It was also grilled with love. The toppings were spot on would like having a big Mac. I loved the soft roll. So fresh so spongy so delicious. The onion rings were on point, and there were so many in my order. I took some home. These are some really good rings. The pink lemonade was so tart and delicious ice cold. It was perfect on this warm day. Another great experience in this institution called Antonio's! With so many choices around. The best bang for the buck is right here, in Simsbury. Always clean restrooms parking is a breeze, and I didn't check out the new bar connected to this place but someday I will We were treated like family, and it was such a welcoming and perfect experience

What makes it unique is the amazing decor of antiques and kitschy items obviously collected over many years. They also have some beautiful fish tanks. I received three empanadas for just over seven dollars, presented over some lettuce with an aïoli sauce type dip So let me tell you, these empanadas were egg, bacon, and cheese wrapped in a pillow Philo type dough. Lovingly made, these empanadas were out of bounds delicious.! The homemade aïoli type dipping sauce was perfect for these empanadas. After I finished the empanadas, I found taking lettuce and dragging it through the aïoli sauce fitting. I finished the whole serving, wanting more! Drago's I wanted more! To say this newer restaurant is an institution would be an understatement. This place was hopping, with customers coming in and out constantly as I waited a few minutes for my takeout. OK! Here's the drawback... I loved the heavy duty carryout bag, but Drago's you need to put your logo on the bag! It would be the frosting on the cake Thanks again, Drago's Kitchen! The servers were friendly and quick, and the decor is very rustic and clean. Good sized tables and chairs. It took us maybe no more than 5 minutes to get seated, not a big deal. As for the food, I cannot recommend that chicken and biscuit sandwich more!! The chicken was so tender and crispy, and it paired perfectly with the biscuit, the sauce, and the egg. I will say, it said on the menu it would be an over easy egg but I think it was more medium, but honestly it was SO DELICIOUS it really didn't matter. We also tried a BYO omelet and that was good! I think the broccoli was cooked very well, nothing felt raw in the omelet. I might have liked a smidge more cheese to help it all hold together, but again, not a big deal!! It was a standard omelet, I probably wouldn't get that again but I would 100% get that chicken and biscuit sandwich!! Also their prices are very good!!
