Steak and eggs. 16 oz ice coffee.

I so want this business to succeed. That said, let's move to the experience here. I was pleasantly greeted by the staff and my order taken quickly and efficiently. My coffee came quickly, which I enjoyed a great deal until my food arrived. I had ordered steak and eggs, which included some home fries and one slice of toast. The steak was adorned with a chimichurri sauce. I'm a bit of a purest when it comes to beef, I think it should be able to stand well on its own without any condiments accompanying it. This was not one of those occasions, though the chimichurri sauce was too much for what was a fairly thin piece of some kind of steak. The scrambled eggs were a bit sparse and a tad overcooked. The home fries were quite good with a bit of crunch and a soft warm center. The toast was, well it was toast. Steak and eggs and an ice coffee came to around $23. This was a good idea not well executed.

A new Peruvian cafe in Simsbury! It's located in a small plaza with plenty of parking. There was a patio area and a handful of tables inside. I love the cute and pink theme. I am a fan of cafes and bakeries so I had to check this place out. On this visit, I tried out their iced lucuma latte, lucuma mousse cake, beef empanada, and it was so good. I could eat 20 of those empanadas! It's lightly sweet and savory. Lucuma is a Peruvian fruit which tastes like sweet potato and caramel. First time trying and I am in love. My son enjoyed their flourless brownie, my husband loved the chicken empanadas and black coffee. Side note: I did order another pastry and was charged for it but they forgot to put it in my bag, I understand, they are working on their kinks as a new business. I'll look at it as their tip lol. The employee was friendly. Overall, I'm glad to have this cafe near me and I'll be back for more drinks and EMPANADAS!

Made by Pam is a brand new Peruvian bakery and coffee shop in Simsbury. They have a very cute outdoor seating area, complete with a cozy couch, shaded umbrellas and surrounded by flowers. The inside walls are pink, they have some Peruvian baked goods and cookies behind the glass. There are some seating options available inside. I was very curious in their Lacuma Latte. The Lacuma Latte is a Peruvian specialty. I got it iced, it was pricey at $8.00. I also got the Pistachio Alfajor. They had several people working, the wait for the latte was very slow moving. The Pistachio Alfajar is a pistachio shortbread cookie filled with dulce de leche and pistachio filling. For a single $6 cookie, I expected much better. For starters, this cookie was super dry, it was also very crumbly. The center filling was not impressive. This was a below average cookie, for an above average price. The Lacuma Latte was very tasty. Easily worth the wait. This is a unique blend of earthy, sweet, and light caramel flavors. I really enjoyed it! Made By Pam are pricy, but worth checking out.

It's wonderful to see a new Peruvian bakery owned by a lovely mother and daughter. There's a great seating area outside to relax and enjoy your treats. We tried their cookies, and they were absolutely delicious - not too sweet, with a beautiful pistachio puree filling inside. The breakfast menu looked amazing too, so we're already planning to come back for brunch. The owner was so kind and welcoming. Highly recommend checking them out!

Amazing adorable and yummy. I ordered the avocado bagel and my partner got the morning wrap. The potatoes are delicious, the bagel is so good, and the drinks are delightful. The plating and decor is so cute and pink, perfect for brunch.

Between ordering and pick up time was less than 15 minutes! And this was during a busy lunch schedule! Props to Jersey Mike's staff. The bread was super soft, and the freshness was apparent throughout every bite. I loved the provolone cheese. It had that pop! The fresh cold cuts were generously placed on the sandwich and I could taste each and every one of them, with the spicy ham coming through Having it with lettuce, tomato oil and vinegar, hot pepper sauce, jalapeño peppers, banana peppers, mayonnaise, made this sandwich a true winner. My friend ordered a cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato mayonnaise, and onion We ordered a large order of onion rings to accompany our burger After a 5 to 7 minute, wait the burgers arrived! My burger arrived, exactly as I ordered a medium rare. This burger was hand formed 1/3 pound of fresh hamburger. It was so juicy. It was also grilled with love. The toppings were spot on would like having a big Mac. I loved the soft roll. So fresh so spongy so delicious. The onion rings were on point, and there were so many in my order. I took some home. These are some really good rings. The pink lemonade was so tart and delicious ice cold. It was perfect on this warm day. Another great experience in this institution called Antonio's! The moment we walked in, we were greeted by an incredibly interesting 1950s and 1960s decor. It's filled with vintage nostalgia, giving the entire space a unique, warm, and inviting family atmosphere. There's so much fun memorabilia to look at while you wait for your meal! We enjoyed the box of trivia questions waiting for us at our table. They offer a remarkably wide range of homestyle cooking choices, so there's truly something for everyone on the menu. Every single dish we have ever tried was absolutely delicious. The meatballs were plump, fresh, and bursting with flavor. Our portions ( of salmon & locally grown string beans for me and spaghetti for Dave) were generous, and everything tasted like a comforting, high-quality, home-cooked meal. The attention from our server, Mela, was unmatched. Warn & courteous without being overbearing. She was an outstanding server. Antonio's truly goes the extra mile to ensure you have a wonderful dining experience. Insider Tips: Make sure to look around at the wall displays and historic decor elements while you're there--it really adds to the charm! This has easily become our favorite spot, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food and a wonderful atmosphere. The apple crisp, French onion soup, and shepherd's pie, plus the atmosphere and service, keep us coming back.
