Found this place while at work! It's a good little hole in the wall pizza place. I kept it pretty simple. I ordered two slices of pizza for my lunch. I got a slice of sausage and a slice of pepperoni. The portions here are no joke. The two slices came on a pizza serving tray. Overall, the pizza was really solid. It had a nice thin crust. Maybe a little under done by brick oven standards but it had a good bite and texture to it. What pulled it together for me was the tomato sauce. It was nice and light and not over seasoned. It was fresh and didn't fight with the other ingredients. The mozzarella was fresh and had a good amount of salt on it. Very balanced and tasty thin crust pizza. While the food is good the service is beyond poor. Time from order to pick up runs slow, delivery time far far slower. Hey know their website is wrong and has been for years but have made no changes. The front end staff are rude and often run their mouth at customers. This is a continuous problem with this place. They are rude if you call in, or order and pick up. I'm talked with the owner before and was assured that it would never happen again.. Sadly it has. This time it was far worse. Avoid this business at all costs. Ok. Well I decided not to come here anymore. Not that I didn't like the food. The pizza is overall good, calzones are decent (accept the onions I ordered in it were raw like a salad and the dough wasn't completely cooked, for a $20 plus dollars calzone you think they would have put liquid gold in there), I didn't care for the wings much. But, it's the prices!! $48 for two calzones with 4 toppings. $85 for two large pizzas and 4 toppings!! I'm sorry I can't afford your establishment anymore. Consistent problems... asked to have manager call me last week and have not heard a peep!! Hate to leave a bad review but I tried to resolve this and clearly Woodbridge does not care. I will say that the pizza can be good and the check out staff is always pleasant... HOWEVER... pizza is never ready when they say it is and last time I got one pizza that was slop and one was the wrong pizza. I have had issues in the last few weeks but I always let it go. Last week was the worst. I was told 25 Min for my pizzas. I ordered two. I went there 30 Min after I ordered and they were just putting my pizzas in the oven!!!If it's going to be an hour for pizza, thats fine... Just tell me it's an hour. So I waited for my pizzas. Finally I got my pizzas in 50 Min when they said 25. Then I get home. One pizza is completely wrong. (I ordered pepperoni and hamburger and I got sausage). And the cheese pizza was complete slop. Taken out of oven and put In box too soon. It was an absolute mess all over the inside of the box. I called Woodbridge and the girl was very nice. I asked to have the manager call me and that was 5 days ago. I really want this place to be successful beqcuse the pizza can be good. However the timing on orders and accuracy needs to be greatly improved. Second review from this past Sunday... please stop doing delivery unless you can get it right! I ordered pizza at 455. It said approximately an hour and that was fine. When I did not have pizza at 620, I called and they told me they were busy and did not have enough drivers. I said I would pick it up, I live close. I have been coming here for years. I love they have a well/seasoned pizza with the option for banana peppers. Unfortunately at this Vernon location this weekend I experienced an issue which was not resolved. My pizza recently was wrong and I was given jalapeño peppers instead of banana peppers. Unfortunately I am not one for that kind of heat and I couldn't eat it. I called, got a lovely employee who apologized, offered to make a new one that day, however we already made ourselves a new quick dinner so she offered a credit when I came next. I found that to be very nice. So this weekend I called. Was told my pizza would be 15 dollars per their policy. I spoke with the owner who negotiated and I would still have to pay 6 dollars for the toppings as he will not credit a full pizza for "one wrong topping." I was confused why they would make me a large new pizza for free that day, but now were saying it would cost money. It bothered me and I was hoping for an explanation. I was told people lie to get free pizza which was pretty hurtful. The owner hung up on me. Being hung up on by the owner of a business still leaves me unsettled. We got pizza at Vernon Pizza which is closer and the staff is kind. I wish it didn't end this way, but I must warn anyone who is told their pizza will be credited - get your pizza remade that day for free, or your future order will not be fixed without charge. When they first opened here, I would've given them the title of best pizza in town. My last two times have been far from it though. A week ago I called in an order for pickup and arrive when they tell me it will be ready. I see 2 pizzas on top of the oven which turn out to be mine, but I am told the order isn't ready. A few minutes later, I found out that only half my order was made and they were going to make the rest immediately. This resulted in room temperature pizza by the time I got it.
