Stromboli, packed with ingredients

Between a 2.5 & 3. They use a lesser quality cheese to save $, but they are generous with it. The portions are large & their food is decent, but nothing to wright home about. I ordered a slice of sausage pizza & it was thick like new England style, but the dough was goopy like Sicilian. All of the toppings were plentiful, The cheese the sausage the sauce, but it was sweet. I investigated, eating each component separately to identify where the sweet was coming from & found that it was the dough. Weird. I tried the chicken bacon ranch Stromboli & it was good, but very rich. Not in a creamy way, but in a this is too much for my galbladder to handle with out it gagging me. Once again, generous w/ serving size & toppings, but I could only eat a little bit of it. Finally I tried their dessert. A piece of carrot cake. It was the same generic stuff you get in the grocery store. Once again, eatable, but not special. Just so you know it's not me, I brought this home & shared it & their opinion matched mine. Not good, not bad. I won't go back because i like exceptional, but there was nothing wrong with any of it. It just wasn't my cup of tea.

Best place in Bloomfield for pizza , lunch or dinner ! The service is always great , they're so nice. The place is big, plenty of space to dine in or get a to go order . They have a huge variety of difference slices you can get anytime of the day which is always a plus.

First time trying this place out. I called my order in and the server was polite and helpful. I arrived at the time I said I would to pick up my order and it was ready to go. The restaurant has a kind of cafeteria look to it. It's a self-service style restaurant. In fairness the pizza was good overall but the crust wasn't as crispy as it could have been. The flavor of the toppings where nice we got sausage and mushroom. They use bulk sausage and fresh mushrooms. The sauce was a little on the sweet side for me. I'll definitely return and try it there instead of traveling with it. Also I'll probably ask for less sauce and for it well done so that the crust is more to my liking. But not a bad choice.

Stopped in on a Saturday just before noon. Place was like a morgue, except for the three employees. First of all, kudos for the cleanliness and adherence to Covid protocols. Kudos also for the variety of choices (5 different strombolis and about 10 or so varieties of pizza). I ordered 2 slices, a margherita and a sausage. Both were good, but very wet and flimsy. Crust is on the thin side, and it just didn't hold up. In fairness, I've had pizza here before, pre-Covid on a week-day. It was much better. I think the time spent under a heat lamp on a very slow day led to the lower than normal rating. I could have used a knife and fork, a pizza bib, and lots of napkins. The pizza could have used a blue pill.

Boneless 8-piece wings with sweet chili ($7.99)

Ok, I'd venture to say that this spot is good for most everything on the menu - except pizza. Although there are a few different pizza options, I haven't yet found one that I like. However, the biggest bang for your buck is probably the grinders or the wings. The grinders - including the small size - are huge and definitely big enough to share or have leftovers. I most recently got the wings, and 8 pieces ended up being more like 12. They have bone in and boneless, even though the menu doesn't mention the boneless option. They also have many flavors available, and the sweet chili was very good (though perhaps a bit too much on the wings, so there was lots of the sauce leftover at the bottom of my plate).

A-OK as I see it. It looks exactly the same as it used to when it was operated as "Slices Plus". Lots of individual slices ranging from plain ($2.50) and pepperoni ($2.75). Fancier slices (Buffalo Chicken, BBQ Chicken, Meat Lovers) cost more. I had a soda, a pepperoni slice and a cheese slice for around $7 and it was a good lunch. The slices were generous, thin crust with tasty cheese and sauce. No complaints at all. They also sell hot and cold grinders, and say that more menu choices are on the way. In this part of town there aren't a lot of lunch choices. This one will certainly do.

I'm torn between a 2-3 star rating. The pizza was under seasoned, the dough quite bland. That's all I ate. Service was sufficient.

And we substitute the pepperoni for capicola with roasted red peppers, onions, lettuce and tomatoes with sprinkles of oregano and crush red peppers and no mayo. When I picked up the food it was busy for lunch time. I only checked my mom pizza not the grinders the entire order came to $47. 21. I decided to have a bite of my grinder and there was no lettuce or tomatoes. At this time I realized I need to drive back to get new grinders prepared. When I walked in the ambiance was crazy busy as it's extremely frigid cold weather. It was so busy I had to park at the gas station next door. I politely ask all waiting if they ordered everyone said yes. I said to the young man that I had purchase these grinders earlier and neither have lettuce or tomatoes. Maria sister came over and she realized she didn't add the lettuce and tomatoes. He bought the containers back to her. I'm so disappointed because I knew they literally warmed up the previous sandwiches I returned. They forgot the lettuce and tomatoes the 2nd time. I realized they never prepared new grinders. I'm very disappointed with the quality of service. While sitting at the bar two gentlemen ordered a large pizza and mozzarella sticks. Why their food came out should've at least been compensated for their inconsistency. And I had to wait for them to prepare new sandwiches. Why there foos came out before my two grinders. I pray they will consider their actions before making such a terrible decision.

Last night while enjoying the live music and beers at Dudleytown, we were in the mood for something to munch on. Conveniently, the menu for Saults was right on our table. The menu features, salads, tacos, burgers and pizzas. We got two pizzas. The Truff Mushroom and the Pepperoni. The pizzas are very small and they come in just one size. Upon ordering they gave us a buzzer to indicate when our pizzas would be ready. After around a half hour wait, they were ready. The Mushroom pizza was loaded with mushrooms, ricotta, fontina and mozzarella cheeses. The crust is thin and this pizza is delicious. The mushrooms and the assortment of cheeses make this a dream topping. It was fragrant, crunchy and so flavorful. I didn't try the Pepperoni pizza, it was also a hit amongst our group. Saults Electric Cuisine offers tasty options in their menu. I wouldn't hesitate to stop by when in the area in the future.

Their niche is selling online food orders for delivery (think Grubhub, UberEats, DoorDash) or customer pickup. Their popularity steamrolled during COVID and seems to be a permanent part of the restaurant discussion going forward. There's a ghost kitchen running out of the Avon, CT Bertucci's (MrBeast Burger) and tonight I ordered takeout from Paul & Vinnie's -a ghost kitchen running out of the back of Carbone's Kitchen in Bloomfield. They sell pizza, grinders, salads, and a few desserts. I called in an order for a large ($14) "Francesca's Eggplant Grinder", advertised as "my Sicilian grandmother's eggplant, marinara, ricotta, Mootz, romano, and roasted red peppers". It was stellar !! Super tender and thin eggplant cutlets piled high on pillowy bread, plus all that cheese and sauce and goodness. We also went for a large ($23) Smop Pizza (Sausage, mushrooms, onions, peppers, Mootz, tomato sauce). The pizza was equally excellent- thin New Haven style crust, absolutely loaded with vegetables and very tasty sausage crumbles. Here's how the process worked -I called in my order and they took my credit card over the phone. I drove over, called them from the parking lot and out came the food. Simple as that. Bottom line is this, for $40 we bought a big and excellent eggplant grinder and a big and excellent pizza. We split half the grinder and had a slice apiece tonight. There are easily two more dinners for two in the fridge right now. So, six servings of delicious food for $40 works out to under $7 a meal. Good value plus good food equals a combination we are likely to repeat very soon.
