Bought my Mazda CX-5 from Ron & he was great. He was very kind and patient with my brother who initiated the whole process & stayed with Ron for a few hours until I got there. The car had some minor scratches that Ron was willing to get fixed without additional cost which I am very grateful for. Thank you Ron, I appreciate you & your positive attitude. read more

The absolute worst car dealership I've ever had to deal with. The sales people are belligerent, impatient, condescending, and will actually cut you off in conversation and dismiss you when they don't get the response they want out of you. I leased my car from them a few years back and had to go back recently to visit. If you do use them, make sure to have a lawyer review any contracts they provide you - the guy who handles the paperwork and contract signing lied to me and my friend about multiple questions we asked them regarding what was included in the lease contract. read more

My wife and I stumbled into Mazda after our car broke down. We were lucky enough to trade it in for a brand new Mazda 3 at a great price. Working with Sophia was so easy she helped us with every step. Great car buying experience, no pushy sales people at Star Mazda! read more

I recently leased my 2nd Mazda CX-5 from Kyle Groom at Star Mazda and I have nothing but glowing accolades about my experience with both Kyle and Star Mazda. It's the personal attention of everyone at this dealership that made me a repeat customer. Kyle was a pleasure to work with both leases and there were zero hassles or missteps. They had the car I wanted, with the extras I requested by the date I'd hoped for. The paperwork was a breeze and Kyle was so friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Ryan Sheikh in the finance dept. was great to work with as well. Another reason I'm a repeat customer is the awesome service department. Everyone there is so nice and I never have trouble getting an appointment at a time that works best for my schedule. This is a dealership with stellar service and a fantastic product. Check them out!! read more

Chris in the service department took great care of me today and was honest in his recommendations for maintenance. He kept me up to date during the day and had me out by the time I needed to be. The mechanics and Chris were fantastic. I purchased my Mazda there 7 years ago and if I needed another one, I wouldn't go anywhere else. read more

AMAZING!!!! Last weekend I bought my new CX-3 and it was BREEZE all because of Kyle Groom! He was so helpful, kind and genuine about the cars I looked at. My mom and I went through Costco and thank god we got Kyle as our representative! We actually enjoyed going through the whole process! The whole thing was so easy and I couldn't have asked for a better dealership and car! I highly recommend Star Mazda. Not only do I love my new car but I loved my experience. THANK YOU STAR MAZDA AND KYLE! I will definitely be recommending everyone I know to you! read more

I've purchased 2 Mazdas and always gotten my service performed here. They're friendly, run on time and I'm always happy.

I just bought a used car here and could not have been happier. They have at least two (that I saw) female salespeople. Sophia in particular is awesome--friendly, honest, and overall a great person to buy a car from. No mansplaining here! Really great staff overall. read more

After driving a boring car for years, I wanted a car that is fun to drive and has a manual transmission. I learned that the Mazda 3 comes in manual, but after calling around, I couldn't find any dealerships with a manual option. I called Kyle Groom at Star Mazda, and he immediately began working out a plan to set me up with my desired car within a week. From the initial phone call to the signing, Kyle was extremely helpful. He came in to the dealership the Sunday before Christmas just to help out, and he got me the best deal I found (and I shopped around, a lot). If you are looking for a Mazda, you should definitely give Kyle a call. read more

I've been driving the same car for 17 years. I LOVED IT, but knew about two years plus ago I needed to get a new one. Well, this year my hand was forced and here we are. I didn't want to do this for many reasons, however, Ron Hudson made it a pleasurable experience. We went in (on Saturday night) to see what they had in the Mazda3 sedan category and drove a couple. I left these pretty much thinking i was going to go back the next day and get the second car I drove. When we got there and started walking around again, I saw a couple of Mazda6 sedans (also on the short list) that looked good. So I drove 3 of those. Ron was patient and never discouraged us from driving anything. I am visual so I needed to see them layed out. Ron printed out pages (I know, but I couldn't do a spreadsheet !!) so I could compare them side by side to make a decision. He is also pretty funny so that helps to get through the painful part! We were the last ones to leave that night with my beautiful new Mazda6. And, as Ron predicted, I keep getting compliments on how beautiful she is. I recommend Ron very highly if you are looking for a new car. Consider Star Mazda and go see Ron Hudson. read more

First service on my certified used car - oil change was quick, Nathon (sp?) was professional, warm, and smiling. They checked everything, and there was nothing extra! No tacked on fees, no crazy emergency fix that would cost a lot of money - just what I asked for. Happy to have a competent, calm service dept for my car. :-) Also I checked their prices on a few things and they're totally in line with my other mechanic's price points. The GM Marc had said a few months ago that they were working on improving their service dept. From my experience, they have done a great job. Everyone was working happily and efficiently on this Sat morning. I'll be back! read more

After spending 4 days Car Shopping in the LA Market. I wish I would have started at STAR MAZDA. This Dealership is by far the absolute VERY BEST. I would give them 6 stars, because 5 just isn't enough! The moment the sales manager came out to greet me and asked what I was looking for and I thought what a breath of fresh air to not have to deal with pushy/rude salespeople. He was really nice and listened to what my expectations were. I appreciate they never tried to make me raise my budget or weazel me into a car I would not have been happy with. I enjoyed working together with Eddie and he found me the car with everything I wanted at an amazing price. Im so so HAPPY!! Customer service is something hard to find these days especially in a fully populated city where people start to mean $$$ to others. I felt like they actually cared in finding me a car not just after money. I came in with financing from my credit union and they even beat that. Like i said i went to over 30 dealerships this weekend and no one could beat it, but STAR did. Im very impressed with this dealership and I would recommend to all my friends and family not to go anywhere else. They work hard to earn your business. The GM even gave me a mazda hat and keychain. and shook my hand thanking me for the business. Its the little stuff that means a lot. IF YOU NEED A CAR START AT STAR, DONT WASTE 4 DAYS LIKE I DID :) read more

This Mazda service was amazing! I had Nathon Madison as my service advisor and he was very helpful for my first here! From the moment I phoned Star Mazda for parts & service, I knew they were interested in my needs & options. I had phoned another Mazda dealership who said the earliest available appointment would be in 2 weeks. Star Mazda scheduled my appointment on the very day of my request! He was exceedingly helpful in providing information and updates to me, also, via text messages & phone throughout my service experience. read more

During the height of the covid-19 crisis I needed to buy a new car. Nerve wracking time to get one, but Kyle put me at ease. I can't say enough good things about the experience, and I am being honest . What I thought was going to be a pain in the butt turned out to be such a nice and easy transaction. Furthermore, he called around for the best deal for me. I cannot thank him enough! Thank you for my car Kyle, I love it and the price was spectacular :) read more

I just got home from buying a certified preowned (CPO) Mazda CX-5. I had an incredibly positive experience both with my salesperson Abiel and with the finance guy Ryan, who was super fun and nice. I had taken my previous car here for service before and the customer service there was outstanding as well. It's so comforting to know you have done business with a company and with people you feel comfortable with and who consistently go the extra mile (pun intended?) - If you are looking for an incredibly attentive, patient, and kind sale person, please don't hesitate to go see Abiel. I'm excited about my car but this review is for the dealership and the people. Not to mention, the Starbucks coffee and hot chocolate machine in the waiting area. :) The other sales people I have dealt with are Victor and Kyle and they are both top notch, you won't regret working with either of them. But my #1 guy is Abiel! I actually will look forward to coming back here for my maintenance appointments. Many thanks to the whole Star Mazda team. read more

Went in to check out a few cars, was greeted by a salesman who asked me a few basic questions. I told him my price range and got an eye roll. Said he had very little used inventory for me and hesitated when I asked to see a car that was out of the price point. He seemed like it was such an inconvenience for him to show me a car. For reference 11/23 3pm. read more

*UPDATE* I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!! Star Mazda of Glendale misled me when I purchased a vehicle maintenance plan for my leased vehicle. I was told at the time of purchase I could cancel at any time and be refunded the full amount minus any claims I made using the plan. After having one $79 oil change, I cancelled the plan, and was told I would only be getting $467.81 of the $895.00 price I paid. I cancelled the plan having the vehicle for only 13 months and putting approx. 5,000 miles on it. I have called and emailed the manager Jon M. asking him to honor the conditions for cancellation as was explained to me, but have gotten no response. I recommend that you save your time and money, and shop for a vehicle elsewhere. read more

Finally yesterday we got our new preowned 2012 Mazda CX7 and I am in LOVE!!! I don't ever write reviews but I'm incredibly disappointed in the service I had here. I have a Mazda 3 from 2010 (I did not buy it at this dealer) that had a product recall issued for a faulty dashboard that was obscuring my vision, so I went in to have the dashboard replaced free of charge per the instructions from Mazda. The service department was very aware of the issue and had clearly had a ton of customers come in for the same replacement in the past year so maybe they just don't care at this point. I was told it would only take 4 hours. Dropped my car off at 8:30 AM, finally was able to pick it up at 5:00 PM - almost 8 hours. They had washed the outside of the car, but to my dismay, my two front seats were blackened with grease stains and fingerprints, and there was dirt and crud all over the interior. My service advisor Chris tried to claim it had come in this way, and that he saw nothing wrong, he said "we don't have dirty mechanics here" which is putting words in my mouth and not what I was saying. Rude. I'm aware car interiors get dirty over time, but this was definitely not the case. I keep my car VERY clean, to a point where I'm obsessive about it, I don't allow food or drinks in my car besides water, no trash, nothing. I do not take this lightly, and I certainly would have noticed if my seats were like this before. I pay attention to these things more than the average person. My seats are a light color, and were in excellent condition two years ago when I bought the car, and they were still in excellent condition when I dropped it off for my appointment. I complained more to Chris, and he still tried to tell me I was imagining things. But I was insistent, so he did offer to clean it free of charge if I came back in 3 days when they had time to fit me in. So I brought it back 3 days later. Left it for the day. I asked him to give me some paperwork to sign (as you would for any service being done) and he laughed and said "don't you trust me" - I'm sorry but no, I don't. When I picked up my car the seats were JUST as bad. I can't tell if they even tried, they didn't have seat covers or anything and the seats were totally dry. When Chris saw my disappointment he again tried to tell me my car is just old and the stains were there before! NO THEY WERENT! As the pictures show, no improvement whatsover. I'm never going back here. If it weren't for Mazda's stupid manufacturing issues I wouldn't have needed to go at all, and now because of that I'm sitting on filthy seats. A little apology would have gone a long way, but I didn't even get that. At least they reimbursed me the $20 of Uber rides this cost me, the very least they could do read more

,We leased a 2021 CX5. The ride was extremely uncomfortable. We felt every bump in the road and it felt like you were in a stagecoach. I took it back and the service dept (on the invoice)noted that they test drove it-no problem-. They also checked the tires-no problem. I then took it to my tire dealer who I have known for years. The tires were over inflated to 55psi and that the sensors should have gone off. I called John Mac. mgr. and notified him. He said they would p/u the car and give us a loaner to check the sensors and tires. Last week a repair person called thinking I needed a oil change. The mgr told me they don't tell the repair people what's wrong with the car. Wouldn't you know better than to give an oil change on a car 2 mos. old? The repair person said he would talk to the mgr and call back. NO CALL. I called the mgr of the service dept. He said someone would call. NO CALL. I called again and left a message. NO CALL. Now I'm going to write Mazda headquarters. I've had two CX5's with no problem. This is the worst service. Just void the lease, take the car back and we'll call it quits. They don't support their customers who have been customers for years. That's very sad. read more

Went there in Nov 2020 to check my 2015 Mazda 6. They indeed did a mechanic check for me, but the process was not pleasing. First, the guy who was responsible for my car was nowhere to find during the process. Then, after the check, they recommended me to do some unnecessary "maintenance" of my car, which would cost more than $1300. I went to another reliable mechanic shop for a second opinion, and they suggested not to do something that works just fine. Not recommend this place for mechanic check. read more

I had a very nice experience at Mazda. The main reason was that the sale consultant, Eddie Sahagun, was extremely nice, helpful and patient. Waste of my time and a bad experience with the service department. I had a warranty recall that needed to be repaired and made an appointment, when I arrived they told me it would be an hour and a half to diagnose the problem even though I knew what was wrong with the car because it was part of a recall and I had spoken to Mazda and set everything up before I got there. The service manager hates his job and shows it by being rude and condescending to customers. He should not be working in a field where he has direct contact with customers. read more
