I have been getting my vaccinations at Star Market Pharmacy for over a year and have been "jabbed" there four times. Each time I was a walk-in and was immediately served with respect.
I received the first shingles vaccination in early October and was told to come back in two months for the second shot. When I returned I
was told that they were out of stock and I should come back in a week, no problem.
As per her advice, I returned a week later at 9:00, the pharmacist told me that he wouldn't do vaccinations until 10:00. Since I already completed my shopping and needed to catch a bus home I decided to go back the following day.
I arrived at about 1:00. He told me since I had not made an appointment I would have to wait until 2:30. This was the first time I was turned away for being a walk-in despite signage saying "walk-ins welcomed", I didn't feel very welcomed and left.
I made the extra trip specifically to get vaccinated and still have not gotten any.
If I were to transfer my prescriptions, would I need to wait an hour to pick them up? How about my glucose meter supples or the Tylenol behind your counter?
No worries, no longer interested in transferring my scripts.
