I went to this Walgreens because I had just left the Prudential Center and I saw it was just across the street. My family and I were in Boston on vacation and I needed some things for an upcoming tour. The tour would require us getting up like sometime around 4:00 am and we needed to get something to eat for breakfast. We found what we were looking for which was some Frappuccino (for me and brother) and milk (for mom) as well and some snacks. The store is smaller than many Walgreens, and you don't find the variety you normally look for. But it got the job done.

Not 24 hour like it says on this page, so beware. Made a late night trip very sick only to find out it doesn't open until 6 am now.

A gaudy, offensively decorated Walgreens, which I guess is par for the course in the area.

Horrible, horrible, horrible service. Customer service does not understand what customer service means. I will take my business elsewhere!

It was fairly busy in the store which is not a surprise since it is located in a very busy area. The store seemed very well kept up and maintained. The price checker and coupon machines were up and running properly and the machines are a very nice convenience to have. The store clerks all seemed busy stocking shelves, assisting customers, cleaning and so forth. There was a decent sized line at the cash registers but the cashier did a good job cashing everyone out at a quick pace. There is also a self checkout option at this location for anyone who prefers to use the self checkout. Very positive experience here.

NOONE was at the registers. A staff member called out, to no one, in particular, to ask if anyone was at the registers. I verbally confirmed that there were not. Then, I was blindsided from behind by a staff member, a large, intimidating man, snapping at me from the self checkout, "you don't SEE me?!?" Yes, I saw you, doing your job and helping people self check out. That doesn't help any of us waiting in the long line at the registers! The woman who finally waited on me was In no better mood, muttering under her breath, "Jesus Christ..." and other unintelligible words of anger. She hissed, asking me if I had a CVS card, and I said yes... Waiting for my next instructions. This infuriated her as she swung her arm at me to point at the small screen in front of me. No words, just quiet anger. I was passed intimidated and slightly scared at this point. So, I very timidly asked her to apply my coupons, which just frustrated her even more. How is any of this behavior good for business? Do any managers actually check on the employees? If so, CVS needs to check on their managers. THE DEAL: unless you're ready for angry, hostile staff in your face, don't come here!

They have one gallon sized water as well as 1.5 liter water bottles when I went back in late September 2021. They also have ready-made sandwiches near the front of the store in the refrigerators. I also saw that they had the tuna kits with crackers and mayo in one of the aisles. I'd highly recommend this place if you're staying nearby and need to get something quick. They're open until 11PM while most other stores closed pretty early nearby. Not sure about parking because it was walking distance from the Hostel.

My dad asked her how long the wait time will be because of his leg problems he can't stand for long periods of time. Karen said to my dad if you can't wait then you can go to somewhere else and she's the one who's in charge at the pharmacy. My mom heard what she said to my dad and was obviously very upset because is that how the pharmacist treat the elderly!? My mom was trying to argue with Karen, but Karen refused to fill the prescriptions for my dad. Does the pharmacist have the power to refuse to fill my dad's prescriptions just because of his medical disability of not being able to stand for a long time!? What happened if my dad's condition becomes life threatening because Karen refused to fill my dad's prescriptions that he needs to take on a daily basis? Will she be responding to this review?

I do not have any prescription coverage under my insurance plan, so often medicine that I take on a daily basis can cost between $50-$155 a month. Imagine my surprise when I called to find out how much one of my daily doses cost there and was told $40 (normally I pay $155)! How do they do this I asked! Well it turns out that Fenway Pharmacy is a non-profit organization, funded with grants, government money, and private donors. So not only is medicine affordable again, but the staff is extremely helpful and friendly! So if you are like millions of Americans (including myself) struggling with the cost of health care these days, may this pharmacy make your efforts that much easier!
