Cute little beauty store that sells Korean and Japanese skin care, DIY hair dyes, some blind boxes and snacks! There isn't a ton of room to move around thru the aisles but it's easily navigated! It feels very boutique and we had some time to kill while we waited for our dinner reservations. In their beauty skin care aisle there were sampler bottles for you to test and the staff seemed nice! Quick in and out for us but welcome addition to Chinatown!

Pusheen and Sanrio! Hello Kitty!

Whoa! This is an awesome shop! There are so many cosmetics, face masks, and general kawaii things. We loved buying all the Sanrio character items. They had the whole crew - Hello Kitty, Pompompurin, and more. The aisles were stacked with stationary, cosmetics, keychains, and more. I got some excellent face sunscreen and hand creme in small packages perfect for travel. The prices are good, and the selection is awesome.

Great Asian beauty store! They offer a lot of makeup products made in Japan and Korea. Their prices are fair when compared to online shopping or other similar stores ( I've been to many in California and Vegas). They sell a lot of good Asian products such as: Mascara Eye shadow Makeup brushes Face cream Hair products /hair oils Lip balm/scrub Face mask Foot mask Snacks/bottled drinks Toiletries I do not read kanji, only English. Most products have English information on the back. You can also ask the employee questions or if you're looking for a certain product as she was very informative and helpful. I particularly like makeup products made in Japan as they tend to stay on my face all day and the makeup brushes are a good quality. They are pricey. You get what you pay for. The store is two stories and has a nice selection. I only wish prices were a bit more reasonable, but again, you get what you pay for.

I went to Taos a couple times to pick up a snack and escorted someone of the female persuasion inside. The store is absolutely set up beautifully. Everything is spotless, clean and lined up the staff is very helpful and friendly. Everything in the store is basically super cute. I believe it's for young females maybe some older females and maybe some younger gentleman myself being a 58-year-old man there really wasn't anything in there for me except for some snacks maybe I could use some of the soaps or facial cleaners but It's not really up my alley, but I'll tell you my daughters and every female I know they love this location and if you're into any of these products, I would definitely suggest that you check this place out they have single masks, all individually packed all kinds a little goodies definitely if you go to a spa these are some of the products that you would find here and then there's actually a couple snacks that are hard to come by so I will still be going in to get a snack here and there especially Some Matcha Kitcat's very hard to find. Anyways, the store is top notch and now you should check it out.

What is super cool jam in the heart of Chinatown for all of your beauty, skin care, and hygiene! This is a two-story facility, when you walk in it smells so wonderful, staff are very sweet and the store is well-stocked, organized and clean. We purchased a little bit of everything from here and the check out was super quick and easy. Even their merchandise bags are super cute!! Prices are super affordable as well. I couldn't walk out without getting a delicious smelling fragrance, some anime socks, and face creams. They have everything stocked here! The only thing I couldn't find was a larger line of the DHC products. They only had their lip balm- but great shopping experience.

We had a blast in this store!! So many cute items!! The only issue here was that prices are not clearly marked.

Too bad experience to purchase item here! It's not allowed to refund when I had paid for the item. I didn't open the package of thing.

The owner pays attention to your skincare concerns and guides you to products that would work best for you. She introduced me to Ohui and The History of Whoo and my skin feels so smooth and amazing. Testers were fresh and I was able to try out most of the products on my hand while browsing. Besides skincare, they also have tools and makeup! I was shocked to see my beloved Innisfree powder amongst the shelves, along with some TonyMoly and a variety of cute lipsticks and glosses. I came here looking for a specific moisturizer, a pack of eyebrow razors, and any other fun skincare tools I could find. Unfortunately, they didn't carry the brand of skincare I was looking for, and the eyebrow razors were a bit overpriced for my taste. Not sure if the owner is still getting the shop set up or if she just got a shipment in, but there were a TON of unpacked boxes behind the counter and on the floor. It was a bit difficult to maneuver around the store, and the bottom of my coat was covered in dust from brushing up against the boxes on my way out :( Ultimately, I would suggest coming here if you want personalized recommendations (the owner is very skincare savvy) or if you want to see a product in person before purchasing. They mostly have higher end products and not many brands I use, so I probably won't be back unless I'm in need of my Korean makeup staples.

It's a little dark inside, contrasting with many of the brightly lit boutiques on Newbury Street, but the darker interior adds to the relaxing, spa-like atmosphere. Products are stocked on shelves along the walls, while the center of the store is devoted to trying the products. Every item they sell is available as a tester on the center table. The table has a sink at the end so you try products such as their cult-favorite hand washes. Customers can test products to their hearts' content. They even have towels of terrycloth rather than paper to dry your hands with. It's a nice touch that elevates the experience of trying products in a store. The music playing in the store was relaxing and further added to the tranquil atmosphere. The Aesop associate was very nice. She was very knowledgeable about the products and was able to recommend a moisturizer for me. She gave me samples when I checked out and placed my purchases in a white muslin drawstring bag that is unique to Aesop stores. She spritzed the bag a couple of times with one of Aesop's aromatherapy sprays, so I could take the Aesop experience out of the store with me. Aesop has a reputation for being very pricey, but many of the items are comparable to other high-end brands and stores. The Aesop store was a great place to take a little breather from the city while treating myself to some divine-smelling products.

We walked into a clean, organized store with the signature pink aesthetic carried through consistently, and the scent in the air when we came in from Newbury Street was enough on its own to pull us through the door. The format here is testers only on the sales floor, with staff retrieving purchased items from the back when you are ready to buy. That setup keeps the space uncluttered and shifts the focus toward trying things rather than browsing packaged product, which suits the brand's approach to beauty and makes the in store experience feel more like a studio than a shop. We found that skin tint and concealer color matching in particular benefits from the in person format in a way that online shopping cannot replicate, and the staff are trained to assist with that process rather than just pointing at the display. The service quality is consistently one of the strong aspects of this location. The staff know the products well and approach the interaction as an actual conversation about what you are looking for rather than a push toward a purchase, a distinction that is noticeable. The store gets busy on weekends, and Newbury Street foot traffic can make the experience feel rushed during peak hours. We found that weekday visits offer a more relaxed version of the same space and more one on one time with the staff if you have specific questions. For a beauty shopping experience that bridges the gap between online and physical retail effectively, Glossier on Newbury Street is a well executed stop.

I've lived in Boston for 7 years.... this store kind of changed my life…read more 1. Alicia the Aesthetician: I went to her on accident when my regular bikini waxer had to cancel on me. I already had a facial scheduled and she agreed to fit me in for a wax beforehand. I am the most squeamish person when it comes to waxing (I used to take 2 shots before my waxes). She gave me the most pain-free wax, and I had no post-wax rash like I usually did. (I'M a redhead). I've been going for 3 years, now, and recommend her to all of my friends and clients. 2. The best facial I've ever had. Ever. I try to go as religiously as possible. I had acne from age 8 to 22. Enlarged pores and scarring galore. A few treatments with microderm and peels helped so well that I got to switch from full coverage foundation to a light powder. Cannot rave enough. Additionally, my mother HATED facials. She never felt a difference. I bought her one for Christmas and she came out AMAZED and would not stop telling her friends about it.
