First time in this store! They have everything from snacks to frozen ready to eat foods to spices and rice. It's really a grocery store. Very well stocked and quite a large store too. " Awesome Hours " This place has the best hours . It's literally opened until 3:00 am . The staff is friendly and awesome as well , lol. They have a little bit of everything in this store . College Convenience - Grocery Near Me - Boston, Massachusetts

More like College Inconvenience, with the prices that Universities are charging these days to attend (in the USA - many other countries offer free college education at better Universities), and speaking of prices, these aren't cheap either, at this convenience store focused on college kids and their needs (but not their kneads, because no dough is sold here, just taken at the register). But really this is another great convenience store in Boston, perfectly situated around the colleges, and considering all the convenience stores and the great variety they have like this one, I'm starting to feel like Boston is an extension of New York City. But don't tell anyone in either City that I said that, because they'll possibly probably maybe hate it. It's expensive of course so I can't give it five stars, but I do think it's a great convenience store. read more

A store that still values the importance of customer service. I bought a charger at CVS that broke in one use, so I came here to buy a new one. The clerk told me to bring it back if it broke, and that was months ago. Still works like a gem. The woman who works there is extremely nice and helpful. One of the guys gave my girlfriend a bandaid when he noticed she had a cut, and on a different occasion he also gave me a disposable mask when I needed one. Every time going to this store, I was struck with how they went above and beyond to be helpful and kind. Definitely a great small business to support. read more

Love this place. Because instead of just having 1000 kinds of pepsi and another 1000 kinds of chips like most USELESS so-called convenience stores, this place has real food and surprisingly convenient items. I have noticed a little bit of frito-lay creep into the second aisle of the store and that does make me worry, but for now it seems like they still are holding on with actual stuff you need. The best part is the surprising number of international foods and ingredients. Apparently this place has gotten a little makeover. I haven't been here for about two years until I needed to buy some lottery tickets for a birthday present (and to feed my gambling addiction). The best thing about College Convenience is that it's open 24 hours -- in fact I always thought it was named "Store 24". Strange! It's pretty much the only place around Northeastern that's open all night and I would imagine they must be rolling in dough for it. One time a few years ago I started getting belligerent around 3 AM because they ran out of dill pickles (who drunk eats pickles?). Luckily they didn't get me arrested. I've been a big fan of Symphony Mart for a while (not to be confused with Symphony Market). Don't get me wrong, I love the dudes there (especially Raghav, he's my bro). But I've been to College Convenience two times past midnight, and I'm sold. Sorry, Symph Mart! Tonight I bought some Kettle chips and the dude behind the counter, who was calmly talking to a mentally handicapped man the whole time, rounded the price down to $1. God bless his beautiful soul. It is an okay store with an okay layout. The only reason I go there is to buy Indian items that are not available anywhere else. I have serious concerns regarding the staff who work there - one person, in particular, is very rude and obnoxious. She literally screams at customers and even if you're not the one she's screaming at, you still feel uncomfortable. As someone with anxiety attacks in the past, I feel disturbed even entering the store when she is around. I hope management takes this review seriously and takes immediate action against this particular individual. read more

I bought snacks from this shop with my friends twice. Everytime they gave us less food than we chose after checking out. Last time, they didn't give us our ice-cream, and this time they didn't give us our chocolate bar!!!! The receipt does't contain details of each goods, but only total price! Rules are not posted for customers before purchase. Yet staff doesn't cover face properly with mask. No social distancing rules followed. You can find huge variety of stuff here - a very international selection of food. However, some of the items are past the expiration/sell-by date so be sure to check! Also VERY overpriced. You could walk down the street to the whole foods/CVS and be better off. read more

This place is unbelievably overpriced, particularly their ethnic food. The prices are triple what they are elsewhere. I also want to add that they don't bother giving you your change if you give them dollar bills. This shop is gouging college students and others that shop here! I would not recommend this place, get a Zip Car and take a trip out to Cambridge or the suburbs instead. read more

I like this place, MUCH better attitude towards customers than Symphony Market a few doors away. All the guys who work here are cool, open 24 hours. Interesting assortment of Indian food and incense etc alongside the traditional smokes, newspapers and lottery tickets. I'm a daily customer, two thumbs up! read more
