They had a nice selection, were reasonably priced and did a great job cutting. They were pleasant to work with too. However, we did have a more significant issue and I'm not a fan of how it was handled (or rather lack there of). During installation, I was told the seam on the counter would line up with the same matching backsplash lip. I came back into the room and it was already done but not lined up (2.5" apart) - no attempt to tell me even though I was home. I spoke with the owner Eric after who assured me that it could be corrected. I offered to pay. He implied that was not needed and he would text or call me back to schedule. He didn't. This happened several times. Now my backsplash tile is about to go in. Perhaps this would be a non-issue for most. For us, we are installing large format tile, and so in this case there will be three different seams within a 6" space - not aesthetically pleasing in our opinion. Each time I reached out to owner over a few weeks, he assured me no problem they would take care of and schedule. I was ghosted each time. Couple of other smaller issues we noticed that we can live with that aren't earth shattering: backsplash different height in separate area, they added a metal piece above dishwasher and now it makes a metal scraping sound when it closes, underside of island counter has netting. If you want a reasonable deal and quality, they are a decent option. If details like this matter to you, look elsewhere. I personally will look elsewhere for any future work. ETA: just realized the island was not cut straight. The edges have wobbles when running hand along.

We spoke with a dozen different granite countertop suppliers, but we really appreciated how wonderfully Stone And Cabinet Center worked with us in a personal way, and their attention to detail. Ada, Hyhan, and Orhan coordinated cabinet delivery and installation, dishwasher and sink plumbing, and our complex curved-bar and countertop installations. The quality and value we received were outstanding. The cabinets we selected were half inch thick wood with dovetailed slow-close drawers, and because we selected a very large remnant piece of Granite, the price was great. They were kind and gracious every step of the way, and we've already recommended them to friends and neighbors. Our next step is to change the flooring to match our beautiful new wet bar!

Other companies just quoted me at around $12k, but Ada provided a very competitive quote at almost half the cost. I wanted to add a waterfall to my current island layout and another company said it wasn't possible, but Ada's team made it happened beautifully! I had heard horror story that the Taj Mahal quartzite is so hard to cut, and it would break without proper technology. Fortunately that did not happen to me. Every piece was cut and polished nicely. This team knows what they are doing but did not put a crazy price tag in the work they do. I have to mention the customer service is great with this team. Ada is a reliable, honest and responsive guy to work with. There was an incident that we found our water line leaky after the installation, which could happened during removal of the original granite but nobody was sure. Ada just stood up and took the responsibility immediately. There was also miscommunication during the process but Ada was always there to resolve the problems and made the process worry free. This is the team that you want to work with because unexpected things and mistakes could happen in every project, but they will make it right for you. I will totally recommend this team to my friends and colleagues. Check out my before and after pictures for the transformation!

Granitech came to my home within a couple of days of my inquiry to assess and measure the shower. The Granitech team was very responsive to my questions and made recommendations to ensure the design of the new shower aligned with my wants and needs. They also recommended replacing the 19-year old vanities/cabinets with new 34" heigh cabinets and provided a separate price quote with two design options. The shower renovation and cabinet replacement was reasonably priced. The Granitech team showed up as scheduled and was meticulous in laying floor covers from the front door to the upstairs master bathroom to protect the areas. Granitech demolished the existing shower down to the studs, installed new insulation, relocated the drain, installed new plumbing, shower head, wet-rated shower light fixture, onyx shower wall panels, hardware (towel racks, grab bars, toilet paper holders), new luxury cabinets/vanities. Granitech also coordinated the design and installation of a customer pivot shower door with Dulles Glass. The Granitech team installed everything to perfection, patched drywall in garage ceiling once the WSSC and county inspector confirmed work was compliant with building code.
