Here are the pros and cons: Pros: No pressure sales by informed salespeople in the store. They know their products but don't push for a sale. It was nice to not feel pressured. The stone is available in a storage warehouse right next to the store so you see the actual slab and not just a small sample. There is a good selection. After a 50% deposit, they schedule the installation at your convenience with a day and time window. They removed the old countertops, installed the new ones, and drilled holes for the faucet (we had it already) at the house. Cons: We received a voicemail message the day before installation changing the delivery from morning to afternoon and it was difficult to shuffle work meetings at the last minute. There is a seam at the sink we weren't told about. We assumed and should have confirmed, but we thought the U would be one big piece. It's not very noticeable, it's just not what we expected. We had them also install their 50/50 sink. It looks good and is really deep. For the plumber, the drains are at the back of the sink not in the middle. My husband had to reconfigure the pipes to make this work so it wasn't a simple installation. (They don't hook up the sink.) Overall, we're happy with the countertops. The installers were nice and professional. Once done, they used our shop vac to clean up.

He did a quick design for me at our initial meeting and later did an official one to submit to my HOA. I spoke to half a dozen other contractors who all priced about the same for the work. What sold me was Steve's portfolio and how up front he was with everything. Not once did he try to sell my on something I didn't need or go beyond what I was asking for. We decided on a wood deck to match the majority of the homes in our HOA, and because we just like the look better. From the beginning of his crew showing up till the last piece of trash picked up they were extremely friendly and FAST!! They started on a Tuesday and finished by Friday for a 24'x16' deck that was 6' off the ground on uneven ground. Finish product was even better than the graphic design of it. Hands down 100% glad I went with PowerHouse. Even neighbors and friends have already commented on well of job they did and wished their contractor was just as good. If you have any doubts just invite Steve over for a chat and you will see for yourself your money will definitely go the length and you will not be disappointed.

Through TJ Home Improvements, we had the opportunity to work with Dynamic Stone Creations…read more We couldn't be more thrilled with the extraordinary work Dynamic Stone Creations did on our kitchen renovation. From the very first interaction to the final finishing touch, their level of craftsmanship, professionalism, and personal investment in our project was nothing short of superlative. From the outset, Myra -- the owner -- made this experience exceptional. She took the time to understand my vision, not just in terms of aesthetics, but how we actually live and use our kitchen. She listened intently, asked thoughtful questions, and offered design insights that reflected a deep knowledge of both materials and practical function. Her passion for her craft was evident at every step. When we visited her shop, she personally walked us through a wide variety of stone options, explaining the differences in durability, finish, veining, and tone. We weren't rushed or pressured -- Myra truly wanted us to love what we chose. That level of attentiveness and care is rare, and it set the tone for the entire project. The entire team is truly top-tier. The designers approached every detail with creativity and precision, helping ensure the final outcome was not only functional but beautifully cohesive. The fabricators worked with remarkable attention to detail, handling each slab like a work of art. The installers were incredibly skilled, respectful of our home, and meticulous in their execution. We decided to go with a stunning quartz that wraps around the entire kitchen -- not just the countertops, but also the backsplash, island, and wall panels. The continuous flow of the quartz gives the entire space a seamless, unified, and incredibly beautiful. Every vein lines up beautifully from surface to wall, creating an elegant, waterfall effect that draws everyone's eye. The craftsmanship in achieving this level of alignment and continuity is simply remarkable -- it takes true artisanship to pull that off, and the Dynamic Stone Creations team nailed it. What impressed me most was the sense of pride and integrity the entire team brought to their work. On installation day, both Myra and her husband came to oversee the process. Myra's husband worked directly on the installation, personally ensuring every piece aligned perfectly and that the seams, edges, and finishes were flawless. That kind of hands-on leadership and accountability is rare and speaks volumes about their standards. When I saw the completed kitchen for the first time, I was overwhelmed -- I burst into tears of joy. The transformation was breathtaking. The quartz surfaces shimmered with elegance, and the entire space radiated warmth, luxury, and intention. In a beautiful moment of shared joy, Myra teared up with me. It felt like a celebration, not just of a finished project, but of a dream brought to life with care and love. But Dynamic Stone Creations didn't stop there. They surprised us by using leftover quartz pieces to create custom cutting boards -- a thoughtful, generous gift that we now use every day. In addition, they designed and built a stunning altar for our family's place of worship -- a deeply meaningful piece executed with reverence and artistic mastery. They also crafted a custom oval coffee table that is simple and beautiful. Our home is now filled with the beauty and meaning of their work. What Dynamic Stone Creations created isn't just a kitchen -- it's the heart of our home, where we gather, pray, connect, and build memories. Every guest who walks in comments on how stunning the space is, and it's always a pleasure to share the story behind this heart. If you are considering any marble or stonework -- whether it's a kitchen, bathroom -- I wholeheartedly recommend Dynamic Stone Creations in Clinton, MD. Their work speaks for itself in elegance and durability, but it's their spirit, heart, and commitment to excellence that truly make them stand out. They don't just renovate spaces -- they elevate lives through their work. Thank you TJ Home Improvements for connecting us with your trusted source! A Grateful Homeowner

Years later, the windows were letting in drafts. When my parents tried to file a claim, the manufacturer said the issue was with the installation, and when they went back to the contractor, the contractor blamed the window company. My parents were left to eat the cost. Didn't put two and two together until now. Fast forward to 2021, I had them install gutters on my house. In 2023, I called for a roof quote but never moved forward. In 2026, I tried to call them again, but they wouldn't return my call. Upon inspecting my gutters, I discovered major installation issues: the leaf fitters were shoved underneath my shingles, shingles from a previous roof layer were pushed back and the gutters were installed too high. This poor work has caused my fascia board to rot over time. So glad they haven't returned my call. Stay away and don't be naive like me. Needless to say, I've hired someone else for full roof replacement along with fascia board, soffit and gutters.
