If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. It all started when my husband and I showed up at the shop after closing on a Saturday. As we were peering in the window, Mr. Mosen who was near his car ready to leave, asked us if he could help. We said, that's okay, we'll come back, but he opened the shop, answered all of our questions, and gave us a great price. We had already been to a few other shops, so we knew we were getting a great deal. We placed our order and made our down payment. Sunday morning I realized I probably left my credit card at the shop. Since Mr. Mosen had given me his cell number, I texted him and asked him to check when the shop opened on Monday. He said no problem, he would go and check right away. My card was there and I went to retrieve it. Next great customer service-- we saw a quartz stone we liked in the shop. Mr. Mosen suggested another stone based on what we were looking for, but he did not have a sample. He went to distributer and got a sample and brought it to our house. He was right, a better choice, so that is what we ordered. The counters were ready as promised, Jesus and his colleague were great. Very professional and efficient when they did the installation. A sink was provided, we bought our own faucet. We also provided a plumber to re-connect everything. Found our plumber on Yelp. Cabinets will be painted using a painter we found on Yelp. This shop is directly located next to another company. Be sure to visit the right shop. Home Depot was more expensive, and the other two shops were more expensive and I would have given the other two shops three stars or less for my initial experience. One shop the sales rep was patronizing, but did explain things. The other shop the sales rep told me to wander about and write down what I liked-I would give that shop zero stars. I ordered a small piece of granite early in July. I was told it would be in the following week. It never came. I went into the store at least two times and was told it will be in next week. It never came. I called again, and he asked what the dimensions were and I said, enough. I want a refund. No refund came, until I called again. I would not recommend this business. read more

I reached the Bell Stone to restore my deck; after received many promises, the 4 days job took 4 weeks. Moreover, the price for the job was outrageous; the owner Mosen Attai never managed the work, all jobs done by a handyman. Besides all, the company never applied for the permit before started the job. I brought a licensed professional, noted how many areas were fixed incorrectly. As a result, the whole job must be re-do, which is never done. During the construction, the handyman smashed stones located in the backyard created the hazard area. When I contacted them to fix it, they made it more dangerous, had contacted another company to fix the area. The bottom line, the company, operating a stone store and is not for remodelling. read more

Do not use this contractor. They are responsive only BEFORE you sign a contract. Then it took 4 weeks from deposit to get the countertop to production. The quotes and invoices are unprofessional and they refuse to provide a warranty in writing after installation. They only show up and call back in a timely manner when they want money. The subcontractors are not respectful in your house--no floor protection, don't have anything to clean up at the end of the day. They do not arrive to the job with needed equipment so are gone for hours. The tile job was sloppy, uneven grout, crooked edges, chipped tiles, sloppy raised outlets, etc. The countertop was not mounted well. They continually wanted to cut corners to get done faster. During my first visit they clearly explained process and timelines. They measured and quoted a comprehensive competitive price, after sending me to several granite warehouses to examine patterns and stones. I chose a highly patterned product. Nihad ensured I worked with the fabricators to approve the layouts and coordinated all relevant additional services including the plumber. I received regular updates and frequent communication at every step of the process. The fabrication and installation was flawless. I was amazed at the perfect pattern match at seams and flow of parred across the counters. My house and property were immaculate when they left. They disposed of all waste. We purchased our first home and decided to renovate the kitchen. My wife and I agreed to change the countertop of our kitchen. Upon our first contact with Bell's Stone and Tile, it started off well and we received a reasonable quote from Nihat for sparkle white quartz kitchen counter-top. We did some research, and although we found a less expensive deal somewhere else, we decided to go with them since my dad got his countertops from them years ago. It started to go downhill very quickly after that. The only times Nihat called us was to charge us for the countertops. We called multiple times to set up appointments for measurement and to book for installation. We never received a formal estimate nor did we receive the final receipt. All we heard was 'I will call you back' and we never received a call for days. After more than a week of constant phone call battles, they finally set a date to install the countertops. My wife and I were at work while the work was done, and once we come home we noticed that they installed the wrong counter top. The countertop that we were quoted for was white sparkle countertops. They installed a completely different product - different pattern and not sparkling white. I called Nihat immediately, shared photos of what we were quoted and he was not even willing to entertain checking them out. He was downright very unprofessional, said that he could not do anything about it. Nihat kept mentioning that our kitchen remodel was a small project and he made it sound as if they were doing us a favor and giving us the deal of a lifetime. This kind of rude and obnoxious behavior was uncalled for. To all the future buyers - BEWARE! stay clear from them and do yourself a favor - take your business somewhere else. We bought a gorgeous piece of natural Quartz for our bathroom vanity at Bells. They offered a reasonable price- cheaper than other places we had searched. Nami was very helpful as we planned our bathroom remodel. The sinks installed in the Quartz are a perfect depth. They took accurate measurements and did a quality installation of the stone top (we put it on my mothers chest from the 50s). It looks great - and we returned to Bell's for a smaller piece to be a 'make-up station' next to the vanity. Again they cut an accurate measurement which we provided and it worked out great. read more

Terrible customer service. Promised to deliver but never did, did not even touch base or follow up. I have to constantly call them and "remind" them about my order. Didn't deliver the first time so we had to reschedule. Did not deliver the SECOND time either! no effort to contact me and fix the problem. Of course he tried to give good price at the beginning, but once I paid full and they cashed the check, it was as if the transaction never happened. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!! Visited Bell's and requested a quote, emailed Bell's and requested a quote, called Bell's and requested the same quote only to be promised it would be in a day, in an hour, or no response what so ever. I would say if a company can't even give you a quote in a timely manner I would absolutely not trust them to do work for me. We had a small counter top replaced in our kitchen and on installation day they dropped it. Broken the counter top piece in two and the new flooring and wouldn't replace it or reminburst me. They didn't give us a new counter top either instead they put a seam in the middle of an already small counter, which runied the look. Mosen was a dick about the whole situation. The floors were uneven, tried to box in my refrigerator with no attention to detail or ownership to poor work. My experience with this company has been a nightmare. Be careful when signing any type of agreement. They had little to no detail in their statement to work so when they did not do a good job I ordered them to stop so they took me to court!! Could not be happier with the team at Bells Tile who installed our counter top.  Working with NIhat, the process was simple as they initially come out for a measurement of the counter layout.  Then we were asked to visit a wholesalers who supplies the 10' by 5' quartz slabs and document which ones we liked.  Within a few minutes, NIhat gave us installation quotes for each style over the phone.  We placed our order on the way home. The quote they give includes everything needed.  Our main concerns were how the veins would flow and location of any seams.  We were invited to their shop in Ashburn and spoke directly with their shop fabricator.  Our slab was hoisted on a mini crane and brought to the sunlight making it easy to discuss the layout.   Four days later we have this fantastic looking counter installed.  One nice bonus is the sink is included in the price.  The huge bonus was the fabricator working in the details to cut seam over the middle cooktop on the L shape portion and installing it flawlessly. read more

*EDITED* If I were rating this business on price and quality of delivery (finished job), I would give it a 5. Unfortunately though, the good work from their contractor is overshadowed by the lack of professionalism that comes from the office. Here are some highlights: - They have a sign in their office saying BBB accredited - misleading and untrue, no accreditation at all... - Agreed upon a specific design, once the work was done I noticed there was an entire cabinet and countertop area that they just never built. When I asked, I was told that the owner thought it would look better without. We had already paid for it and signed off on the design... I am guessing they just forgot and were trying to cover their tracks. PS - we had already PAID for what wasn't delivered - Never received a formal estimate nor did they ask for approval before doing work. They quote one price over the phone, then somehow you end up paying more and it's difficult to get a breakdown of why - To that point, lots of things are "done for free" when in actuality you're never told what you are paying for/they end up on your "invoice" (the text message you get from Nihat after begging for days) - Had to call multiple times a day to confirm what work was being done, and that there was actually being work completed - Was told there was a 2-3 man crew but I went there every day to check in and never saw more than 1 person onsite - Unable to provide formal invoices for any work done. All requests for payment done via the phone or text with no real clarity for what is being paid for. Then when I asked for invoices, was told that they had them at the office but the scanner was broken so they could not email them to me - When I called to confirm specific work was being done, I was often met with "as far as I know"... not sure how you don't know what is going on with your projects on a daily basis - The most communication I got from them was on a Saturday where they called and texted me 9 times to ask for payment for a job that wasn't done, and then admitted that they needed the money because they had too much tied up in other projects. uhhh... - The owner spoke to a family friend in Persian to discuss the bill dispute and insulted my family to the point where he wouldn't repeat most of what was said out of respect SOOO YEAH, if you want quality work done for a decent price (maybe? cant tell when you don't know what you're paying for) and have zero expectations for professionalism, communication, and a clear understanding of what is being paid for both before and after the project, go with these guys. They particularly enjoy harassing you to collect after-the-fact. read more

We used Nihat and his team for the installation of 60 sq ft of Thunder White granite with a standard eased edge in our newly renovated kitchen. Nihat was an absolute pleasure to deal with and very communicative along the process. We visited a granite outlet in Ashburn to select the slabs which were sent to their fabrication shop. Nihat was very accommodating of our aggressive install schedule. Mr. Mosen took the measurements and the install crew did an amazing job especially being careful not to damage our new walls and floors. They did some trimming on site and the seam over the sink area came out very nice. The island slab was 7'x4' and very heavy. As with any contractor you need to be active with them during the process but I would not hesitate to recommend using Nihat and his crew for granite work. read more

If you value your money, your time, or your sanity, do NOT deal with Bell's Stone and Tile on Dorr St. in Fairfaix, VA. Nihat is very charming, his boss (whom I only met once) much less so; but neither kept a single promise they made me verbally or in writing. I bought countertops for a small kitchen (one L, one 18" piece), which were supposed to be installed a week before my new tenant moved in. A. Due to circumstances entirely within Dorr's control, the countertops were installed 3 weeks late, costing me 2 weeks rent and severely annoying my new tenant. B. The color I had picked out was a cream background with some brown speckles and streaks and lots of rusty patches and streaks. What was installed was from a different slab of stone, greyish beige background with lots of brown speckles and streaks, and almost no rust at all. C. It was also mis-cut - it does not overhang the underslung sink (instead about 3/8" of the sink border is revealed all the way around), the corner of the L was cut wrong, and the 18" piece overhangs one side where it wasn't supposed to. I had to accept these countertops with all the problems, or face another 3 weeks delay - 3 weeks more rebates to my tenant (if she didn't just cancel her lease for cause!). D. Nihat promised me in writing 10% back for the problems ($175, about 1/3 of what I had to rebate my tenant); despite at least 6 visits to get the promised money, I only got it months later by finally disputing that amount on my credit card bill. E. Nihat had originally promised me, again in writing, that the sink cutout would be finished into a cutting or pastry board/table topper/sample to match paint etc. It wasn't with the countertops, and despite about 12 visits over almost 3 months to pick that up, it was always going to be available "tomorrow, I promise". If you are a masochist, you may enjoy dealing with a shoddy company like Dorr. If not, stay far away. read more

Unprofessional and unresponsive. Slightly cheaper than box stores but definitely not worth the aggravation. Mohsen agreed to simply forward me a $500 credit from the supplier (due to an error) but then ignored my calls/emails for more than 6 months and then refused to pay. He tried to offer me store credit instead of cash saying that the supplier only issued supplier credit to Bells but this was a just a hoax. Only after filing a law-suit did I finally recover the credit. read more

I was very pleased with the quality of the stone, the price, and the workmanship. My counter is L-shaped, and they went the extra mile to get two slabs of granite so they could make sure that the vein ran correctly when it turned. The seams are barely visible.
