I was on the board at my previous condo for 18 years, I have been on my current condo board for eight years, and Home Perfection Contracting is the best and most professional contractor I have ever worked with. They tore off our old exterior stairs structure and siding, waterproofed the entire wall, and installed new siding and a stairs structure that is far superior to the old one. Their integrity and work quality are off the charts. The owner, Ahmad Khreshi, did thorough research before starting our well-planned project. I was impressed by his knowledge of current construction techniques and dedication to doing the job right. There were several problems that required Ahmad to think outside of the box, one being how to install siding under our existing power lines conduit which was mounted to the exterior wall at six different points. Several times, Ahmad's crew discovered water damage due to poor work by our developer. Ahmad was extremely flexible in adding repair of that damage into his work plan on top of the bid-upon work. Ahmad was kind and fair, listened to our concerns, answered our questions, kept us in the loop, worked with us on timing, and gave us a couple breaks. His crew was extremely professional and respectful, taking off their shoes when they had to come through the building and isolating interior work areas with plastic sheet dividers. When our project was completed, Ahmad send us the following. I've never worked with a contractor who followed up with an offer of help like this: "Remember, you can always reach out with any technical building related questions, in any trades. I'm more than happy to give advice and guidance on code matters or general best practices, even if you are hiring other people." read more

Where to even begin? It took us a year and a half and eight contractors later to find Ahmad and we are so glad we waited and didn't give up on our garage addition! From start to finish Ahmad and his crew were fantastic. From the very beginning Ahmad provided the most thorough breakdown of what was to be expected, delivered and completed. Home Perfection Contracting LLC is the best home contractor I have ever used. The entire process with our tricky basement remodel was amazingly smooth from start to finish. The end product completely fulfilled our vision. Ahmad (the owner) is highly competent, innovative, thoughtful, communicative, trustworthy, and kind. His subs are first-rate and committed to quality, with exceptional attention to detail. Ahmad definitely chose the right name for his firm. Our project involved a few unique challenges because of the nature of what we were trying to achieve. Ahmad is absolutely amazing. I'm an extremely detail-oriented, particular person, and Ahmad also payed attention to every detail, made great suggestions and ended up with a wonderful end result. To back up a bit: I live in a century old apartment that didn't have closets in the bedroom, and I wanted to add more storage, but keep the charm and character of the place (i.e. use original moldings, detailed doors, etc.). This was my first time working with a contractor, and I was amazed at how few called me back. Then I had some contractors who came by my apartment for 5 minutes, looked around quickly, and gave me a really high estimate. Ahmad, however, spent about 45 minutes with me, talking through every detail and giving me suggestions on how to make the project work. Then he came back again for another hour or so before we signed the contracts to make sure we were on the same page. Amazing! During the actual construction, Ahmad and his team were wonderful to work with. They kept the rest of the house really clean, stayed late hours to get the work done, and were always just extremely nice. At one point the drawers were a little shorter than I had wanted, and without hesitating Ahmad and the guys redid the work so that it would be exactly what I wanted. And to top it all off, the contract only included painting one wall where the work was done, but the color was a little off with the adjoining wall, so the team came back a few months later to paint the other wall anyway. And on top of THAT, they also helped with a few little projects around the house that were not any part of the scope of the project (more like handyman type jobs), but they kindly helped with those fixes while they were there. Our home had a leak (rain) from a balcony that was not installed correctly. We contracted with Home Perfect to address the issue and replace the balcony. Ahmad and his crew were amazing from the jump, collaboratively designing a cost effective solution and addressing construction deficiencies discovered along the way that has secured our home form the elements as well as modernized our exterior façade and installed a modern cable rail system. My wife and I were so impressed with the quality and professionalism and cleanliness of the jobsite that we are going to continue on the interior with a larger renovation. We contracted with Home Perfection Contracting to build an addition on our house over the garage. The addition consisted of a new master bedroom with two walk-in closets. As part of the renovation, we also converted an existing bedroom into a bathroom. Home Perfection Contracting was incredible throughout the entire process. From the beginning, they were very open and communicative, sharing their ideas on how to achieve the results I wanted. They also recognized that the lumber and material shortage of mid-2021 was not going to last and did not significantly increase their prices as other builders did. We spent several months working through all of the details of the renovation and securing the required materials and fixtures. Once everything was all lined up, Home Perfection Contracting got right to work. They removed the old roof, built the addition, and put in all the finishes in approximately 60 days. Throughout the process, every step was properly permitted and inspected. Some of the subcontractors noted that they enjoy working with Home Perfection Contracting because everything is done right and done to code. Home Perfection Contracting's workers were extremely polite and rarely came into the rest of the home, entering and exiting the work site through a window instead. We were able to work from home throughout the construction with little to no interruption. In building the addition, they also had to significantly dismantle my garage, which was professionally remodeled int he previous year. After the work was complete, they put everything back just as it was. Home Perfection Contracting went well above our expectations, built an amazing addition to our house, and did so at the right price without interrupting our lives. Ahmad and his team are incredible. Background: After I returned from deployment, I had to find someone to redo my kitchen. I rented my condo out while I was overseas and my tenant tore down pieces of the kitchen backsplash, broke my washer and dryer, dented the oven, broke the shelves in my fridge, and the list goes on. She committed suicide so there was no one left to reimburse me for all the damages. A friend of a friend referred me to a contractor that turned out to be absolutely horrible. He caused more damage to my house than good. I turned to Yelp and searched for construction teams with five star ratings. Ahmad and his team appeared to fit the bill so I called. He drove to my house, carefully inspected my kitchen, and provided me with a free estimate. The detailed estimate, with line by line pricing, was very understandable and reasonable. Result: His team spent a lot of time fixing what the previous contractor did to my house. He came up with solutions for the range hood and drywall damage, dangerous electric wiring, and installed all new interior doors (one of which is a sliding door in the kitchen and the other contractor could not figure out how to do it). Oh might I add that he also called Home Depot numerous times on my behalf to find out what was going on with my doors.. Their estimated delivery date changed four times. Because of his persistence and expertise, he was able to get them delivered to my house free of charge. I got really lucky here because his team actually fixed a few extra things and he DID NOT CHARGE ME for them. As a single female trying to make ends meet and pick up the pieces after what happened earlier, this meant a lot to me. They also kept my condo very clean, they arrived early in the morning, and stayed late in to the evening to finish the job. Bottom line: Ahmad turned out to be everything and more than described in the Yelp reviews. I could not be happier. My house is now safe (no crazy electrical wires dangling anywhere) and looks amazing. I hope to work with him again in the future. read more

This company was a real pleasure to work with. I had many projects I wanted to complete before my family moved in. Ahmad gave me a detailed breakdown of what each project would cost. When changes came up, he helped me through things and gave me great advice. His team took great care of my house, and the work impressed my neighbors, all for a reasonable price. Admittedly, he hasn't started work on the actual project yet, but i'm feeling great about our one meeting so far. I called him and told him wanted to re-do our front walkway into the house, the back driveway/parking space, and our back porch. After looking around for a few minutes, he quickly goes "i don't think you really need the front walkway or back parking area redone. just this back porch, really". Can you believe that? A contractor literally telling me not to pay him more money because he doesn't think the house really needs the work! Talk about integrity! Then we spend some time on the back porch talking about what we want to change and how we want it to look. As we walk back inside, i realize I'd left the back door open and I had no idea where my dog was. I searched around the house to determine my dog had run away while I wasn't paying attention. Ahmad BOLTS into action, and without me even asking for help or anything, he starts running around my neighborhood looking for my dog! The dog returned on her own about 10 minutes later, but still, talk about full service. He didn't take advantage of my lack of knowledge when he easily could have, and he even helped me look for my dog when she went missing! again, he hasn't started the work yet officially (waiting on a quote still), but I feel like I'm probably going with this guy. ​We hired Ahmad (Home Perfection Contracting) to renovate a portion of our house and build an addition. The experience we had from our first meeting and the estimate process through project completion was amazingly positive given the scale of the project and having to navigate living in the home with children and pets throughout the duration of the project. From the beginning, we were impressed with Ahmad's attention to detail. He visited our home multiple times as he worked on preparing his estimate to ensure he was considering everything from the grading of our lot to the slope of our roof line. And while we had a sense of what we wanted to achieve out of the project, we could have never imagined at the onset how truly remarkable the finished product would be. We had a lot of pieces to the project and once the design was complete, Ahmad carefully considered all aspects of the job and the impact for us, as we would be living in the home during renovations. Each step of the way came adjustments on our part, but with as minimal impact to our daily needs as possible. As we approached major project milestones we would communicate on what we needed to do to be ready. Some we had more notice of than others, but we were aware from day one the overall expectations and we worked to do our part to not hold them up. It's clear to anyone who has worked with Ahmad that work ethic is paramount and he personifies this ideal. His crew was friendly, trustworthy, and dependable. They often worked 10-12 hour days and even weekends as the project required. Ahmad and his team would be on site for major milestones, and consistently stop by to view progress and for quality control. There were several times work was re-done due to the initial work not being up to his standard. There were also times where something was technically fine, but after consideration and consultation with us, it was changed because it would have looked better done in a different way. This was part of the process we grew to greatly appreciate. Another aspect that is often overlooked when you're thinking about all the work that has to be done is, when each day is done, the crew didn't just drop everything and leave. Each and every day, tools were put away, work spaces were cleaned up, the floors were swept and everything was left neat and tidy. Every single day. Budget-wise, this was a large project. The last step before it all began was finalizing the contract and payment schedule. There were no surprises, and the project was on budget and on time. Once the original contract was signed, we did have a significant change which was managed by way of a change order and all parts of the change order and budget implications were discussed and set before we moved forward. As with the other aspects of the project, the communication and documentation surrounding the contract and budget components was managed with the same attention to detail. Ahmad's deep commitment to perfection shines through in the work he and his team performs. We interviewed at least five contractors and companies and Home Perfection Contracting was clearly on a different plane than their competitors. They may not be the least expensive option, but you get what you pay for and piece of mind when you're done. We could have never imagined our remodel and addition could be what it is today. If you're wondering if you should hire Ahmad based on his amazing Yelp reviews, I'm here to tell you that you absolutely should. His work is excellent, and his professionalism and attention to detail helped make our home better in hundreds of ways. We purchased a large, old home and wanted to tackle the inspection report items and other updates before we moved in. Ahmad's bid was thorough and clear. We did a major renovation - new AC/heat, plumbing, insulation, rebuilding an exterior wall, etc. Ahmad was always easy to reach, and gave us frequent updates over the months he spent working on our house. For everything he came across that wasn't in the original contract, he'd ask if we wanted to address it and then everything would appear in great detail in add-on contracts - so easy to track and manage. He was also careful not to stress us out, quietly taking care of many items that came up with great skill. Ahmad's attention to detail and commitment to conservation meant that he worked on the details of our project - using period-appropriate finishes, and even buying custom tools so that a single new cabinet (where a radiator once was) would exactly match the current ones. Ahmad's crew always left the work site spotless, even though no one was living there. When the torrential rain hit this summer, Ahmad frequently checked on the house while we were traveling, catching minor issues and addressing them immediately. We had absolute confidence that any question we had would be answered and any detail would be done excellently. I wish photos would do this great work justice, but it just doesn't - since so much of the work was inside the walls. The amazing thing is that the house got put back together wonderfully, and still has the same 1940s charm, but now functions 100% better. I had Ahmad do my house addition (remove roof from 1950's-era rambler, expand upwards by 1 1/2 floors). What I like about his work: - professionally done - well planned - reasonably priced - on budget - on time - detail oriented Additionally, he is: - open to suggestions - easy to talk to - easy to get ahold of (always answered his cell phone, even that one time when I forgot my manners and called him about something minor on a Sunday) Once all the planning is done, you can expect your project to go like clockwork. After the expansion was done, I also requested a quote on a patio. He was the only one who gave a quote that inspired confidence, including the complex features I had drawn into it (I drew it myself using Google Sketchup; I highly recommend that for any construction projects). We had numerous items that Required attention (insulation, electrical, hood vent additions in kitchen etc) and his crew work diligently to ensure the work was done according to code, to the highest standard possible and very neatly, taking every precautionary measure to ensure the house isn't covered in any dust or dirt and is livable throughout the entire process. i contacted ahmad when we just bought a house to ask for his support in remodeling parts of the bathroom and kitchen. we were not sure what we needed and had a tight deadline trying to fix things before we move. ahmad visited the property for a consultation, and provided guidance, advice, recommendation, and options on email in a very timely way to help us think through things. we ended up deciding to postpone and not move forward since it made more sense to wait and do it after we move as to not rush. so why 5 stars one may ask? Ahmed conveyed nothing but the utmost dedication and support and took at least 3 hours collectively but a few mins every day to answer all our questions and guide us through things all at no charge. i appreciate and respect very much his demeanor and the fact that he didnt hard-sell at all. i will CERTAINLY be using his services when ready and recommending him to others. this is the first review i post on anyone, and a testament to how highly i thought of this person. read more
