Countertop depot provided us with a beautiful blue quartz bathroom countertop complete with sinks and installation of faucets we provided. They made the whole process easy and the end result was outstanding. Yasar helped us go through their large selection of countertop material. Once we selected the one we wanted Countertop Depot sent someone over to do the measurements and just a few days later Jack and B carried out our old top and installed the new one. I might add, our bathroom is on the fourth floor so kudos to Jack and B for the trips up and down with the countertops. Later that day the plumber they us OG from O.G. Services came and installed the faucets we had selected and corrected some plumbing errors made by the original installers. He was very competent and friendly. The whole process was easy and we are delighted with the results

The crew just left and I'm in love...with my new countertops! I worked with Yasar and he kept me informed through the whole process. They beat the estimate from the big box store and were able to get the job done before Thanksgiving. The big box store wasn't sure if they could get it done by Christmas. Oh, and Yasar let me take a large sample home to see how it would look with existing backsplash and cabinets. The other place only had a 2 inch square to offer. We went with quartz to replace the granite that was starting to look dated. Just replacing the countertops made a huge difference! See for yourself. I definitely recommend Countertop Depot for price, selection and service.

Basement countertop install

An absolutely fabulous company to work with for a countertop install I needed in my basement unit in DC. Great customer service throughout the process from selecting a material to measurement and install. Highly recommend and I'll be using Countertop Depot again for my upstairs unit.

New quartz countertops for an old kitchen.

We worked with Countertop Depot for new counters in our very old kitchen in Arlington. Gokhan was great to work with and offered us a higher end product (quartz) at a lower price than we could find in other places and even threw in a free sink. The appointments for measurement, demolition, and installation were all scheduled quickly. They even worked with us to do demolition in a separate appointment so that we could prepare the old cabinets for the new countertops. All arrived on time and completed their work in a very timely manner. We were especially happy that they worked with us to determine how best to handle our uneven cabinets that also needed to be raised and strengthened to support the new countertops. And we're very happy with the end result! We would definitely use them again for our next project!

We got a couple of bids and not only were they the cheapest, we found Gokhan to be the most knowledgeable.

Ed, the manager from Old Town B&K, was able to do it! Moreover, he did this over the course of 2 emails and a phone call. He was incredibly helpful in helping me maneuver all of this - dealing with a leaky faucet and a less than interested manufacturer. Unfortunately, the cartridge did not fix the problem and in fact my faucet leak became worst due to internal damage the plumber found. I was soon advised to simply replace the faucet. I emailed Ed and asked for help once again; I sent him a picture of my current faucet and asked what we he could do to help me find something similar. In hours he found multiple alternatives in a great price range - $250 - $350; this was half the price of the faucet I was replacing. The options were all great and I ended up settling on one that I love more than the original faucet. Ed was a savvy advisor that in a few short emails and calls was able to help me find a high quality and beautiful faucet that I love. He was simply SPECTACULAR - especially during a demanding work week and crazy travel schedule. Moreover, Ed worked swiftly to get me the new faucet in two days so I was able to get rid of the leaky one and have a fully operational bathroom again. Simply awesome. And while I feel the mark-up on some of the products seemed a little high, I would surely say it was all worth it considering the amazing customer service and counsel I got from Ed and the team! I plan to return to them for all my bathroom and kitchen needs in the years to come! They were fantastic.

Then they completely ghosted me. If you want a space that fills you with regret and anger every time you enter it - choose Kitchen and Bath Shop. These folks are both incompetent at every level, and also some of the shadiest people I've ever dealt with (and to be clear, a former landlord of mine was literally a member of the Genovese crime family). There are too many issues to list within Yelp's limits. Briefly: 1) They can't install flooring or grout the floor properly. They came out to "fix" the issue multiple times and then just ghosted me. Loose floor tiles with crumbling grout ever since they "completed" the reno. 2) They will do a poor job. They will pretend they didn't make a mistake and then they will blame you for the mistake they made. They installed a shower in our bathroom and the water only came out all hot or all cold. They tried to tell me that some shower heads were just that way. They messed up the installation of our vanity and initially said the only fix was for us to pay for a new custom counter - I had to fight them tooth and nail on both for a halfway decent response. 3) They tried to shake me down for final payment while there were still multiple unfinished issues. 4) They use garbage components/suppliers - tiling has marks and is poorly installed. Fixtures break down quickly. This is no where near the complete list. You are better off doing a bathroom reno yourself, blindfolded and drunk. Do not use this company.

This company is one of the worst companies I have ever encountered. Here are some notes below of…read moreour experience. There is likely more I'm missing. - Contractors that started the job stopped coming and the project manager blamed them for not coming. They came the following week in person and said they haven't been paid for any of their work. It was their first time sub contracting for this company. - Project manager said at 2 weeks the project would finish early. He said at 3 weeks we would finish. He said the next Tuesday we would be done at the latest. He then left the company and our bathroom went unfinished for multiple weeks. - We couldn't get them to pick up trash they left in front of our house for over a week. - Project manager said the glass shower door wasn't good quality so he recommended a custom guy that he said would complete it in 3 days. This took over 2 and a half weeks to be completed. - We asked to have our closet remodeled along with the bathroom. They took measurements in January and the project was to begin in mid February. They took a second set of the same measurements at the beginning of March when we were 3 weeks into the job and said the closet work would be completed in 2-3 weeks. After those 3 weeks (6 weeks total) they said it would be another 8 weeks. This was a breach of contact and we had to get another company to complete this work and the new company completed the custom work in 1 week. - The hardware (handles/racks) for our bathroom was never ordered and they lied to us week after week that they were waiting for the items to come in. We were told they were ordered the last week of January and still had not arrived by the first week of April 9 weeks later. The second project manager we had said they likely never ordered it. We had to go buy it ourselves and we needed them in order to complete the work. They told us that they wouldn't likely be able to pay us back and if we didn't sign the completion of work form then we wouldn't get their 1 year warranty. This is fraudulent and we have still not received the money they owe us. - When our project was abandoned for a week or two, we called their office to attempt to speak to management and the number goes to an automated person and no mailbox is set up. There is no way to get answers if you have issues. - There were probably 10 days we expected workers to come based on conversations with project managers and no one came those days. We received no communication but had to reach out to find out that at the end of the day no one was coming. We were moving our work schedules to accomodate these times. - There are at least two 5 star reviews that we know to be workers from the company attempting to boost their ratings.
