Kitchen renovation is complete! Drawer dishwasher works like a charm!

I am actually surprised by these reviews! I went to the Springfield location last Saturday without an appointment. The manager helped my husband and I find an in stock dishwasher from Ge that had all of the specs we were looking for. Also delivery in a week! I will update once the machine is delivered but I was very pleased with the knowledge of the staff, variety of models, and cleanliness of the store (and bathroom!). We are happy with our purchase and look forward to using it! Update- we received our new dishwasher with install yesterday on time. The installing crew was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful and even identified a potential issue with my trap in the sink. They were fantastic! We ran the dishwasher yesterday and everything is working properly. Thanks so much!

Refrigerator door dent

I had an extremely similar experience to the previous reviewers so I thought it was worth it to document my review as well. I purchased a refrigerator from the showroom. Ashley was the salesperson. She was happy to make a sale. The refrigerator was delivered and the service worker pushed all the buttons but left without turning on the refrigerator. The LED backlight was on but the temperature would not drop below 69 degrees. I borrowed and bought coolers and bags of ice. I emailed Ashley at 7:30 p.m. to tell her that all the food was spoiled. She responded I'm sorry you're feeling frustrated. If she had instructed me how to turn off Demo mode, then the food would have been salvaged. There was no urgency, empathy, or problem solving skills. The following day (Sunday) I went to the Springfield store as soon as they opened. Marlon told me he's the manager. He told me to turn off Demo mode as if I knew what that meant. I didn't know if they sold me a defective refrigerator so I asked to return it. That's when a person proclaiming to be the manager involved himself and things went south quickly. Jason [store manager] is a belligerent appliance salesman. He's an extremely rude, hostile, argumentative, harassing, condescending bully. I asked him if Ashley was coming in. He says: Do you see her? She's not here. Ashley will be in tomorrow. She deserves a day off. Did you ask her if she was coming today? Why didn't you ask her what day she'd be in? I said all my food has been thrown in the trash. What is the reimbursement? He said if you stopped talking, I would have told you the warranty covers the food loss. The warranty does not cover food loss because the service worker didn't know how to turn off the Demo mode. I have since learned that the blame falls on the salesperson because they are the ones who have to turn off demo mode before it's picked up by the delivery service! Nowhere in the user's guide is Demo mode mentioned. The refrigerator door arrived dented. He asked me did I see the dent when I was in the store as if I missed it. It could have been dented during store pickup. The interrogation and blame was too much that I told him to stop belittling me to which he said you're belittling me! He told me if I returned the refrigerator, there would be a 20% restocking fee (even if it's not working or damaged). He was unwilling to help his body language were so condescending that I told him to stop talking. He got in my face and slowly mouthed out "Get out of my store." He said he was calling the cops to have me arrested(?). I said for what? What did I do? I didn't do anything. I'm trying to get this problem solved. With great fanfare, he put the phone to his ear and called the police(?). Customer harrassment of a minority, disabled female with such cruelty has inflicted physical and emotional trauma. Going back to 2020, Yelp reviewers mirror the same experience with manager Jason: extremely rude, condescending, tells customers to leave the store, screams at customers on the phone, overwhelmingly incompetent, attitude, hangs up on customers, interrogates customers, dishonest, and stupid. From past Yelp reviews, it seems that once you've paid for an appliance, that's the end of customer service. I should have read all the negative reviews. Deserves ZERO stars.

The workers in our home on Bryan's Team were exceptional; all friendly and hard working. They left each day trying to make our space as clutter and dust free as possible. This company is one of the worst companies I have ever encountered. Here are some notes below of…read moreour experience. There is likely more I'm missing. - Contractors that started the job stopped coming and the project manager blamed them for not coming. They came the following week in person and said they haven't been paid for any of their work. It was their first time sub contracting for this company. - Project manager said at 2 weeks the project would finish early. He said at 3 weeks we would finish. He said the next Tuesday we would be done at the latest. He then left the company and our bathroom went unfinished for multiple weeks. - We couldn't get them to pick up trash they left in front of our house for over a week. - Project manager said the glass shower door wasn't good quality so he recommended a custom guy that he said would complete it in 3 days. This took over 2 and a half weeks to be completed. - We asked to have our closet remodeled along with the bathroom. They took measurements in January and the project was to begin in mid February. They took a second set of the same measurements at the beginning of March when we were 3 weeks into the job and said the closet work would be completed in 2-3 weeks. After those 3 weeks (6 weeks total) they said it would be another 8 weeks. This was a breach of contact and we had to get another company to complete this work and the new company completed the custom work in 1 week. - The hardware (handles/racks) for our bathroom was never ordered and they lied to us week after week that they were waiting for the items to come in. We were told they were ordered the last week of January and still had not arrived by the first week of April 9 weeks later. The second project manager we had said they likely never ordered it. We had to go buy it ourselves and we needed them in order to complete the work. They told us that they wouldn't likely be able to pay us back and if we didn't sign the completion of work form then we wouldn't get their 1 year warranty. This is fraudulent and we have still not received the money they owe us. - When our project was abandoned for a week or two, we called their office to attempt to speak to management and the number goes to an automated person and no mailbox is set up. There is no way to get answers if you have issues. - There were probably 10 days we expected workers to come based on conversations with project managers and no one came those days. We received no communication but had to reach out to find out that at the end of the day no one was coming. We were moving our work schedules to accomodate these times. - There are at least two 5 star reviews that we know to be workers from the company attempting to boost their ratings.

Our cabinetry order was placed late. Our Reico representative went on vacation without first completing our order, so that set up a massive delay from the start, considering that COVID-related delays were already a significant factor. 2. Pam is a very poor communicator. She would share one estimated delivery date, but then tell us what COULD happen, due to COVID delays. She continually gave mixed messages. Not only that, but she gave us status updates ONLY via e-mail. Some of her updates required actions from us by a certain time, but since we both have careers and obligations to our employers, we missed some of her messages until we accessed our personal e-mails during the evenings. She never just picked up the phone to tell us what we needed to do. She also treated our contractor horribly. 3. We ordered high-end very solid cabinets, but one drawer was damaged. It didn't close properly. Don't get me started on what it took to try to get THAT fixed or replaced! It STILL hasn't been remedied, and it's been MONTHS! I just don't get it! My husband submitted a scathing review of Reico from a survey he received via e-mail, and a Reico company official contacted him directly. He assured my husband that Reico would address our issues, but that has just not happened. No major renovation project goes perfectly smoothly. Stuff happens, but this experience with Reico was just ludicrous!

I reached out to Leo based on his amazing Yelp reviews. We needed help putting our house together…read moreafter discovering mold in our kitchen and basement areas. He arrived on time to our first appointment and listened to every part of the project. Leo then provided an accurate and easy to understand quote by his deadline. When the work began his crew arrived on time and Leo was there to introduce me to his team. He walked through and confirmed details with the onsite project manager. During the week, the project went really smooth. His project manager would let me know the progress of the project each day. They were open to our questions and adjustments. They also offered their opinions on where we should place or move lights, which paint to use, etc. Not only did Leo and his team finish the job on time, they did an excellent job. It is so nice to have our home feel like a home again!

Hiring this contractor the second time, unfortunately, was not a pleasant experience as the first…read moretime. The project was for an entire bath renovation. He couldn't seem to figure out the correct size for the pull out shower door. Ordered and returned 3 times! Blaming me after the third try for ordering the incorrect size when I just relied on the measurements he provided! He wanted to order another shower door again but it seemed ridiculous at that point. I ended up hiring someone else and costing me more money to finish the project.

She was upfront about cost, and if I asked her opinion on something, she told me the truth! I really missed her when we weren't meeting with her every week. After her we got to work with Steve Endress the contractor. He also was amazing. So easy to deal with and always available for a question or concern. His crew is top notch and the work they do is incredible. We did a big renovation that included knocking a wall down, putting in new floors and re-doing a powder room.

This company has been a continual disappointment…read more We started the kitchen remodel process with a budget of $50,000 in January 2021. The design team was fantastic, and got us what we wanted within budget. That's where the good part ended. We waited 12 weeks for cabinets to arrive, and had been told prior to contract signing that the project with full demo, gut, new cabinets, countertops, and backsplash would finish in 5 weeks. We were told that the company was careful and would not demo the kitchen until all supplies were available. After 1 week of demo, we were told that the wrong sink base was sent, and we were on hold until the cabinet manufacturer sent a new sink base. That led to a 6 week hold on our project, with no kitchen for our family. Install was a nightmare. The team cut the crown molding upside down, built a new soffet that was visually out of true, had to re-tile the backsplash for it being initially installed crooked, cut the sink front with cut lines past 90 degrees, and could not install the Le Mans cabinet pullout correctly without me showing them the installation .pdf on the manufacturer website. The installer told us it would rub, and that was the "best he could do". They drug the upper cabinets across a dirty floor covered in drywall plaster and scratched the cabinet bottoms, which we had paid extra to be painted. Nicely Done had to call out a furniture restoration company and replace several cabinets which were beyond repair. Overall the five week project took 11+ weeks to complete. I'm writing this review because we called them back to fix the grout line between the countertop and backsplash, which cracked after 4 months. The same install team showed up and did a poor job of cleaning the old grout, and began using clear silicone instead of the color matched silicone. I'd rather go to Home Depot myself and do the job correctly than deal with them again. I'm done with the laziness of the project managers and install team. I asked point blank at the final walkthrough if we didn't pay enough money to get a better quality product. For $50K, this company leaves a lot to be desired. There's continually a polite excuse, but at the end of the day, they are happy to take your money and do a poor job. Look elsewhere for your remodel needs.
