I definitely recommend Bath + Kitchen to design and install new kitchen cabinets. Bath + Kitchen…read moredoes an outstanding job with design, remodeling and cabinetry. We love our new space. The team is well versed in kitchen design and does beautiful kitchen designs (just seems the pics). They asked lots of questions and made sure to design the cabinetry with the right amount of drawers, accessories and lighting to meet our specific requirements. During install the team was very communicative and the crew was on time and professional every day (and wore their masks all day while working in the house). Appreciate the time they spend to make sure you're happy with the design and details.

Years later, it was time to replace everything, and we wanted a kitchen with a better flow, more space, and better quality cabinets and appliances. Most contractors we contacted simply wanted to replace everything without improving it. Bath Plus Kitchen has actual architects on staff, listened to my list of wants and needs, and then incorporated them. I liked that they change a base price for this, so that I had the option of taking the plans to a different contractor or of using their in-house building crew. We went with their building crew, and we're really happy with how the kitchen turned out. It's so much more open and spacious than before. I have lots of space for working. I upgraded to a powerful stove with a hood, both of which work great. I'm really happy with the quality of the cabinets -- such an upgrade from any I've had before, probably ever. I'm enjoying the little extras that they planned into the kitchen that wouldn't have occurred to me, like dimmers on all of the lights, the quality hardware, touch-sensitive faucet, even the matching wood-panel vent covers and switch plate. The building crew did a very good job keeping the site clean and performing quality work all the way around. Nothing has felt wobbly, looked crooked, or seemed in the slightest bit off. A few negatives: Bath Plus Kitchen is BUSY! We started working on this project in November 2022. We finalized the plans, picked out appliances, and put down a large deposit in early February 2023. Work on our kitchen actually began the second week of July. That's a while to wait! We also had a few communication challenges, like a shifting start date, when to expect the crew to be at our house, and who was responsible for arranging delivery of a few items. It was nothing awful, but worth keeping on top of. Overall, the kitchen looks great and is great to cook in, and I'm excited to have friends over. I think we will enjoy it for many years to come.

I went to Old Town Bath and Kitchen when I needed to replace the cartridge for my bathroom faucet…read more It was an older, higher-end model and come to find out cartridges were hard to get a hold of. Ed, the manager from Old Town B&K, was able to do it! Moreover, he did this over the course of 2 emails and a phone call. He was incredibly helpful in helping me maneuver all of this - dealing with a leaky faucet and a less than interested manufacturer. Unfortunately, the cartridge did not fix the problem and in fact my faucet leak became worst due to internal damage the plumber found. I was soon advised to simply replace the faucet. I emailed Ed and asked for help once again; I sent him a picture of my current faucet and asked what we he could do to help me find something similar. In hours he found multiple alternatives in a great price range - $250 - $350; this was half the price of the faucet I was replacing. The options were all great and I ended up settling on one that I love more than the original faucet. Ed was a savvy advisor that in a few short emails and calls was able to help me find a high quality and beautiful faucet that I love. He was simply SPECTACULAR - especially during a demanding work week and crazy travel schedule. Moreover, Ed worked swiftly to get me the new faucet in two days so I was able to get rid of the leaky one and have a fully operational bathroom again. Simply awesome. And while I feel the mark-up on some of the products seemed a little high, I would surely say it was all worth it considering the amazing customer service and counsel I got from Ed and the team! I plan to return to them for all my bathroom and kitchen needs in the years to come! They were fantastic.

We had a technician come out and confirm that the model has frequent issues. We were told there is no way for us to return exchange or get any assistance with making this right in any way. This store sold us a bad product then refused to exchange the product even if we pay the difference to get a better set of machines. Will never shop here again. We try and support local businesses but this is why national larger retailers are often better for the consumer. Bray and Scarf called me to try and make this right. Promised to fix this issue and work with us to get us a washer dryer that worked. They sent out another tech who said nothing was wrong with the units. We received another error message right when they left and all the problems we previously had still persist. Non of the promised follow ups happened after that. It would have been better if they had not reached out at all. Just goes to show that the initial assessment of this company was correct. I have never received this level of such poor customer service. We are now going to be forced to purchase a while new washer and dryer because this company refuses to do the right thing. Please save yourself the trouble and purchase your appliances somewhere else. Extremely disappointed by this process and out a lot of money with a useless washer dryer

Patrick gave me the number and said he would give them the serial number information. They knew nothing of this when I called. I see that there are many other negative reviews.

A small business with poor customer service. Our impression was that they were over-extended, but…read morewe realized this was not the problem. The job site staff were great. The design was excellent. At times, it felt like a struggle to get answers about the process and schedules. Then problems arise: a new staff person without skilled professional experience was sent to work on the painting. He left damage and a mess for other regular staff to repair the next day. This was only resolved when we demanded that no further work be done until the damage was corrected. The owner was planned to send the same employee back with someone else the next day. He stated they "would assess after." He stopped into the house the day it happened, and saw part of the mess, but left the employee there alone. We had to push for something when it should have been obvious to the owner what the right thing was to do upon damage (for example: sloppily painting over areas that needed patching/sanding, not using drop cloths and getting paint on the new floor, door frames/accessories and surfaces, painting adjustable melamine shelving so they stuck to the walls and supports, and using the wrong paint type on surfaces). We lost two days of work from that. The shelves had to be replaced. We always received excuses and contradictory explanations, for any issue or inquiry, to what really occurred or was stated. Furthermore, communication problems persisted. Staff didn't keep each other informed about specifics to the job. Office staff actually made excuses or statements that indicated what was on paper didn't matter. Several inquires were ignored. The owner had excuses for everything. When a customer is paying on time, and honoring a contract, they better care, and know about the job specifics. That is what they are being paid to do. We honored the contract fully and engaged with the owner because we liked the work until then. We were at the junction where small finishes and the final payment were due. A staff member flushed blue contractor paper towels down the toilet. We found out when our system backed up on a Saturday a few days afterward, and sewage flowed out of the lower level, into the garage and down the driveway. We couldn't use our plumbing and had to have an emergency plumber come out. He showed photos of the blue paper towels from the scope camera that were in the pipes out front of the house. They blocked the drainage and back-flowed into the toilet downstairs anytime plumbing was used anywhere in the house. This bill was $868.00. It took the weekend to clean up. We presented the bill and photos to the owner. He agreed to pay for it. Then the final construction statement increased and the accounting for this was murky. There was an over $800 increase on the labor side without explanation. Only the materials were itemized, and a some final items increased without clear itemization. After running numbers for both labor and materials from the estimate, compared to the final total, 75% was labor and not itemized. When we demanded this to be itemized, the owner refused. When questioned about why a door was priced at almost double and incorrectly identified as a double panel when it was a single, the owner referred to labor for the door-after stating labor is not itemized. He offered no justification for any unexplained labor increase. Stopping short at calling the lack of transparency suspect is being generous. Being over-extended or disorganized doesn't defend charges that don't add up on the final tally. My spouse is a PhD in math. Numbers don't lie. We were prepared to retain an attorney when the owner refused to clarify and itemize expenses and refused to provide receipts and itemization for those increases. He offered a 5% discount on the final project total, plus reimbursement for the plumbing fiasco. We accepted and paid the final amount. We were sick of dealing with them. The owner always had his own version of what occurred. This isn't about COVID issues. It's about an owner not taking accountability. UPDATE as of 2/2021: No permits were ever filed for any part of this job, like the owner was supposed to do, until we found out in January 2021. The job finished in November 2020. The owner actually replied that he thought we wanted the job done without permits. Note this is a licensed contractor who "completed" a professional job without permits. Worse, he actually tried to shake us down for $500 more to file the permit applications. His justification was that permits were never a line item in the contract. If the reader has fully read this review, it was noted that he could not and flat-out refused to provide documentation for questionable increases, and for the labor that was 75% of the bill. My spouse reminded him of this, and he filed the permits after we also informed him that we spoke directly with the permit office. STEER CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY. The owner is dishonest.
