We were so thrilled with the work of the entire team at BPK (Eric, Austin, Victor, and the crew) during our kitchen and bath renovation. We selected BPK after reviewing their website and social media accounts. We were impressed with their work, and even when the project didn't match our style, it was obvious that they did great work. We also appreciated that their website is transparent about the size, scope, and pricing of the projects they take on. Working with BPK really helped to mitigate the intimidation factor of getting our first home renovation work completed. Going into the project we knew we needed to find a team we could trust because we did not want to be responsible for making all the decisions (way too intimidating). After our consultation with them we knew we had picked the right team. During the design process they helped us narrow the choices based on styles we found online and had recommendations about materials, etc. They helped us know which decisions were important when, which was super helpful! They also politely helped push us along when we were slow to make decisions. That was incredibly helpful. The construction process was excellent. Eric and the team estimated the project would take four weeks. We chose to move out (because of our pet) but we stopped by on a routine basis to check on progress. We did notice some small things that required correction, and the BPK team was happy to make the changes immediately. While the work seemed to be proceeding nicely, we were so shocked to get a note from BPK at the end of the third week saying that the work had been completed! That's right, our project with BPK was completed early and on budget! We will definitely work with BPK again in the future and highly recommend BPK and everyone on their team for their excellent work. read more

Bottom line: bathroom remodel was completed to our very picky and high-standard specifications and errors/corrections/demands were ultimately addressed (often with no added cost). What to watch out for: We like things level, centered, straight, undamaged and have opinions on the tiniest things like the height of a toilet paper holder. B+K found our involvement exhausting and difficult enough to threaten to quit on us twice during the project. If you are very detailed oriented with specific tastes and preferences, Eric and crew will try to make things right, but maybe not in the most cost efficient , timely or perfect manner. They will perceive your involvement as causing them cost over-runs and double work when we were honestly trying to save them heartache of having to redo stuff that was not satisfactory. Again, these cost over-runs, re-doing of work and delays could have been avoided if Eric and the foreman had shown up more often and checked the work in person more frequently instead of accusing us of inappropriate supervision and giving instructions to the crew directly. We never complained about the extra project time as we got closer and past the baby's arrival and never threatened to withhold or reduce payments or get a refund/rebate for delays. We would still recommend Bath+Kitchen for those that absolute trust their taste and style (which is perfectly fine, just not OUR exact match) and want to stay out of the process and deal with issues or imperfections late in the game (which can be prohibitively costly in terms or time or money, or even impossible to rectify, so you just live with the flaws or features you don't like or didn't anticipate). They do offer a small rebate for large projects with an open house and for posting positive reviews so be sure to ask about that. read more

I had a great experience working with Bath + Kitchen to renovate my kitchen. You often hear horror stories about renovations, not so with BPK - it was turnkey. Their designer, Kat, provided great solutions for maximizing the space in my small kitchen, and the renderings she provided were a huge help. Eric was extremely helpful in walking me through the cabinet and countertop options - and I never felt pressured to spend more. Janette was able to get the faucet I wanted (every place I looked said the faucet handle, which had to be ordered separately, was on backorder - somehow she got it), and she found the Certificate of Occupancy for my condo building when my condo building management couldn't find it - I'm convinced she has magic powers. The construction crew, led by Luis, did an amazing job. Luis even found the gray toggle light switches I wanted for the end cabinet on the peninsula. To say I was tickled, and very appreciative, would be an understatement- as the gray light switches were a change from what was on the selection sheet (this was my fault, I didn't think to check the color of the light switches for that end cabinet), and Luis had already installed the light switches that were per the selection sheet. Yes, light switches are a small thing, but that small thing helped to complete the look I wanted for the kitchen. The BPK team kept me apprised of the supply chain delays with the cabinets so I was never left wondering what was going on with the project, and as soon as the cabinets arrived Luis and his team picked right back up and finished the job on time, per the revised schedule. Also, there were no surprises with the budget. I absolutely love my kitchen. I highly recommend BPK, they were an absolute pleasure to work with. read more

Kitchen remodel and cabinetry experts here! My husband and I are delighted with our new and beautiful kitchen cabinets. Everyone says get 3 estimates. Why? I don't know. Well I followed protocol. Here is a summary of my interesting experience. 1st place I went to tried selling me cheap cabinets from China (found that last part out after the fact). Further their kitchen cabinet display looked like something from the 90s - honey maple cabinets. Yuck!! 2nd place I went to had no clue what they were talking about. Also they wouldn't return my calls. I made it clear I wanted luxury cabinets. Did they want my business?? Guess not, next! Ready to give up when my friend told me to go to Bath Plus Kitchen. 3rd kitchen showroom, last chance, make it a charm. I booked my kitchen consult through their website. They like if you email photos and a sketch of your kitchen so I did. Austin a kitchen designer at BPK called to talk about my kitchen remodel. After talking to her I felt inspired again to remodel my kitchen. My first impression walking in the door was WOW. Immediately I knew this was the place. My wife and I met with kitchen designers Austin and Julia. After 20 minutes I felt like I had a PhD in cabinets. Austin and Julia designed our kitchen. We reviewed plans compared pricing and ordered our cabinets. I got the door style and finish I love - a beautiful painted cabinet in my favorite color green. BPK sent someone to our house to confirm measurements. The cabinet install was wonderful, everything fit perfectly. My husband and I absolutely LOVE our new kitchen. A remarkable experience and a special place. Also a quick drive from Washington, DC. read more

If you are looking to get your kitchen remodeled, Bath Plus Kitchen Design Remodel is the company to use! From the initial visit when we described what we had in mind, everyone at Bath Plus Kitchen Design Remodel was incredible. They took a significant amount of time to explain the process, work through the specifics of the design with us, and help us be comfortable with the investment we were making. Marissa was outstanding throughout the design process. Once we settled on the design, we worked with Eric to quickly get the contract signed and they started the work as scheduled. Eric made the contract process easy. The people that came in and did the work were professional and very competent. The workers always cleaned up the house each evening when they were finished for the day. The company also was very quick to come by and supervise the work being done. Any minor changes were quickly handled by the supervisor. When we asked them to change some outlets for us that were not specifically in the contract, they quickly agreed. We are completely satisfied with the work that Bath Plus did on our kitchen. We are looking forward to getting a couple half-baths remodeled in the future and we will only call Bath Plus Kitchen Design Remodel to do the work. If you have a remodeling job that you want completed professionally, in a timely manner, with great people coordinating and doing the work, then Bath Plus Kitchen Design Remodel is who you need to contact. read more

We couldn't recommend Eric and his team more highly. They were timely, professional, and provided outstanding work. We first met with Eric because friends of ours had just used this company and had a very smooth three bathroom renovation that turned out wonderfully. We found Eric informative and helpful from the start. Every step of the process was easy and went smoothly. Meeting with Marissa to pick out floor and shower tiles was incredibly helpful, and the selections she suggested for the rest of the bathrooms were spot on and, on the rare occasion when we wanted something else, she listened and helped us find something that worked perfectly for our criteria and taste. The computer generated depictions they provided showing how the bathrooms would look after the renovations showed that we were going to get exactly what we wanted. The two-man crew that did virtually all the renovation work were very nice, professional and talented. They really did a great job at making the process as easy as possible for us. On the very rare occasions when an issue arose, Eric and the crew handled it with grace and took care of the issue immediately. We will definitely recommend Bath Plus Kitchen to our friends and neighbors, and would happily use them again for future renovations. read more

Beware: contract terms, exorbitant pricing, & sloppy plans It is a given that companies must make a profit. We are happy to pay a fair price for commensurate quality. We did not hire this company after a careful review of the plans, materials, and contracts revealed a disconnect between value & quality. Summary: - Read the contract carefully. The buyer is always financially responsible even if the contractor created the problem. - Research the proposed materials and their costs. Quality not always equal to cost being charged. Substituting alternative materials to manage those concerns & costs is not acceptable to this vendor. - Analyze the graphical floor plans to ensure an accurate representation of the project space and scope. On our project there was a major element not included in the proposed plans. Had we not questioned how it would addressed, it is unclear if they would have realized it until work had begun. As with any contractor, extreme caution & careful analysis is required. read more

We were very pleased with the remodel of our kitchen. This was the first home remodeling job that we hired a contractor for and working with the team at Bath Plus Kitchen made the process smooth and probably about as low-stress as possible. Eric and his team communicated frequently with us. Having Marissa's help with the design and style was very helpful as she was able to recommend popular and timeless looks for us from which to choose. The job was completed in the agreed-upon time-frame, which was important to us as we didn't have use of our kitchen for most of the month. We love the final product. Our only complaint is that the team was a bit messy at times: we'd come home to find beverage containers left out or half-eaten produce that hadn't been appropriately disposed of. Overall, I'd strongly recommend Bath Plus Kitchen for remodeling and I'd use their services again in the future. read more

We had two bathroom to be remodeled. Remove the tubs from both of them and put new tub in one and shower in another. Change the tiles. Install Medicine Cabinet and change the corroded 60 year old cast iron piping in the house. The bathrooms didn't also have a fan so they installed new fans for us. To be honest, the work was done professionally and on time. The only reason it got extended is because we found the leaks in the corroded cast iron pipes. They were taken care of promptly and as a precaution all the other pipes were checked and replaced where required. The Bathrooms look amazing and it was 60 %of the cost as quoted by two other contractors. Eric was referred to us by a friend and he is worth the money I paid him. This being our first such task, he gave us proper guidance to maintain our budget and help us get the best deals. read more

I have worked with Eric and his team for over 3 years. They first renovated our kitchen which included complicated running of gas lines and removing walls, then they renovated our master and hall bathrooms. They are just completing renovating a basement bathroom now. All the work was top notch, on budget, done in a faster timeline that promised. The construction crew (Luis) work incredibly hard, always let you know when they will be back, communicate next steps and take pride in the work. For this bathroom we worked with Marisa to design it. The advice was invaluable (including helping me make choices to reduce the budget) and the bathroom is gorgeous. We have recommended Bath Plus Kitchen to at least 4 friends and neighbors who have also used the company with great satisfaction. We would recommend Bath Plus Kitchen to anyone. read more

They performed a complete kitchen remodel and 2 bathrooms in only 3 weeks!!! Gutted my entire kitchen to the studs and rebuilt. They removed a wall form the kitchen to dinning room to create an open concept floor plan on our main level. They installed all new fixtures and flooring in our powder room bathroom and retiled our basement bath and added new fixtures there as well. Eric and his team were great. His workers where always on time, well mannered and hard working. Eric was extremely helpful with assisting us with selecting the style of our remodel. This was the first major home project we have ever done so we needed a lot of guidance. He did an excellent job with holding our hand and walking us through it. The scheduling of the project was executed perfectly. We had no issues and had our home back in only 3 short weeks! read more

I just used Bath Plus Kitchen to remodel my kitchen and a bathroom. I met with a lot of companies but ultimately chose Bath Plus Kitchen because they were by far the most organized and I didn't want to think about design or picking materials. Marissa listened to what I like, showed me inspiration photos and put mood boards together for each space. She had everything picked out in no time and stayed within my budget. I knew when all materials would be arriving to my house. The crew got started on the date we agreed to. They set up and cleaned up every single day and if I ever had questions, Eric and Marissa were very responsive. Both rooms were done a couple days ahead of schedule and I could not be happier with the finished product from design to craftsmanship. The whole Bath Plus Kitchen team is top notch! read more

Eric and his crew did our Master Bathroom last Nov. and we LOVE our bath! From a builder grade 25+year old bath to a granite vanity and oversized tile shower with pebble floor - no comparison. In addition, Eric was great about helping us stay on budget yet feel like we got a luxury bathroom. He was also good about helping us pick out all the features from the myriad of options out there and end up with quality fixtures at a good price. I still love walking into my bath EVERY day. Workmanship was quality and the crew was efficient and responsive. they kept construction mess to a minimum and addressed any issues we identified. We've remodeled with other contractors before and this was the easiest and least stressful of the lot. Realtors touring our house are asking who did the bath! read more

I don't believe this project could have gone any more smoothly. Thanks to the guidance and recommendations we received from Eric, the selection process for the tiles, fixtures, cabinets, and glass was not overwhelming, as we had feared; we had our budget, and didn't have to wade through things that would cost more than we had committed to pay. The project began the very day it was promised, and was largely completed in under three weeks; the glass was measured, ordered, and installed in only ten more days. Although we didn't substantially alter the footprint, our formerly dark and dated looking bathroom is now light and airy, and we are happy campers. Richard and his crew were easy to work with, professional, and knowledgeable. We can't recommend Bath Plus Kitchen highly enough! read more

My husband and I wanted a top-to-bottom remodel of our master bathroom, removing an old jacuzzi and replacing it with a tiled shower. We were wary because of a miserable experience we had had in the past working with a building contractor. We needed a bathroom expert who could design as well as install--and deliver a quality job. Bath Plus Kitchen was everything we hoped for. Eric and Marissa were quick and responsive, listened to our concerns, took over all of our design worries, and respected our budget. The crew came on time, worked diligently, kept the house clean throughout the job, and finished the whole project in under 3 weeks. We love our new bathroom! It is everything we hoped for. Thank you, thank you Bath Plus Kitchen! read more

We hired Bath Plus Kitchen Design Remodel to replace all the fixtures in a small (6 x 9) outdated bathroom. This was a pretty straightforward job (no new construction) and we knew what we wanted, although we still appreciated the design advice we got from Eric and Marissa. Their 2-man crew got all the work done except the shower glass (which was completed by a subcontractor) in an impressive 8 days of work. We thought they did a particularly beautiful job on the glass-tiled shower back splash. The few minor problems that came up along the way were handled promptly and to our satisfaction. Online contract-signing and bill paying streamlined the process. We were very satisfied with the results and would hire BPK again. read more

We had two bathrooms remodeled. The hall bath involved replacing everything but the bathtub. The Master Bath was gutted, with a pocket door relocated and a bathtub replaced with a frameless shower. The team also repaired drywall and painted in the master closet. We are delighted with the results. The team is great to work with, clear communication and great attention to detail at each step of the process. Marissa, the designer, was great to work with and helped pick out the fixtures, tile and paint color for a beautiful design. Yivony and the construction team was great to work with, the quality of their work was great and they were excellent at cleaning up daily before they finish read more

We recently had Bath Plus Kitchen Remodeling complete a renovation of our master bathroom. Having worked with many contractors updating our town home, I can honestly say they were the best to work with! From the constant communication, to meeting the schedule and budget... We were very pleased. The bathroom exceeded our expectations as we feel like we are walking into a hotel spa every day! From day one we trusted Eric and his team with working in our home and never ran into issues. Also, being detail oriented we really appreciated his email updates regarding the progress. No detail or item was left behind. I highly recommend Bath Plus and we hope to have them help us again in the future! read more
