I am 100% delighted with my new gorgeous renovated bathroom!! I own an old brick home in North Arlington which consisted a very small/compact bathroom. I received five estimated and chose Kitchen and Bath Factory who had the most impressive business plan which consisted of five detailed steps. They walk you through each and every step to obtain your dream room design. The final design plan includes both computer generated drawings and a printed timeline of work to be provided. First step was a meeting with David Doughton, Kitchen & Bath Factory Design Manager, to discuss my must haves and design wishes form my new bathroom. Second step was David and Rafal Szcepanowski, R&E Construction, made a home visit to survey the and measure the current space, discuss design options and discuss labor costs.. Third step was a meeting at the Kitchen & Bath Factory showroom with David where an initial room design was generated, custom cabinets/ finishes and countertops were selected. Their custom cabinets are far superior to any I had previously considered. David then provided me with contacts for both tile and bathroom fixtures. Due to their close working relationship with these vendors, I was provided with one-on-one assistance for selection plus Kitchen & Bath's discounted price. After visiting and selecting tile, and plumbing fixtures vendors, David assisted me in choosing the right cabinet color finish plus marble top which would pop with my tile selection. Before I finalized and purchased my new bathroom fixtures, David reviewed my selections to ensure they would work in my new bathroom design. The fifth and final step was finalizing my design with David, placing my orders and getting on the schedule for work. Jemily, Showroom Manager, was a delight to work with ensuring that project production was on the right timeframe and kept me informed if there were any delays. Projects like these have many steps, different vendors and require a project coordinator who knows how to keep all vendor/ installers coordinated plus the customer informed. Rafal and his crew did not rush the job and did an outstanding job which included the following; plumbing, electrical, tile, and carpentry work (including installing a pocket door). Rafal and his staff were very detailed oriented and a delight to work with. I am so happy with the work they performed that I hired them for additional electrical work in my home. I currently am working with them to install a tile back splash in my kitchen. Kitchen and Bath Factory design team should win accolades in the kitchen and bath design field! We are thrilled with our new kitchen!!! The finished product totally exceeded our expectations and the entire project came in at exactly the price Kitchen & Bath Factory quoted. Our home was built in 1812 so we had additional design considerations to which David was very mindful. The design he created took into account our historic property with a traditional "look & feel" while also creating a modern, functional, and pleasant kitchen workspace to meet the demands of our lifestyle. I live in my kitchen, so functionality is just as important as style. Our new kitchen is just perfect and accomplished all of our objectives and a few more we hadn't even thought of ;-) Bob Kay is exceptional at mind-reading. His intuitive nature coupled with vast experience streamlined the process by enabling us to make choices that were right for us, both in terms of budget, as well as design. His direction was most appreciated in terms of narrowing down the field of choices from a dizzying array of cabinets, flooring, hardware, counter-tops, and appliances. Project coordination is a time consuming and under-appreciated job. Janet handled all the details, down to the smallest ones, and expertly navigated us through the entire process from concept through construction and completion. We certainly owe her a debt of gratitude for making the project smooth and painless, while at the same time, keeping it fun and exciting. She had an uncanny way of making it all look easy - and for us it certainly was. I would highly recommend Kitchen & Bath Factory to anyone. All of our friends and neighbors who have seen our kitchen have raved about how lovely it turned out. We had an excellent experience with Kitchen and Bath Factory in remodeling our small master bath in December 2013. Their step-by-step plan for handling all the details of a complex project worked very well. In a carefully orchestrated series of meetings, we made decisions in an orderly fashion. David Doughton worked closely with us to be sure we were happy with our choices and understood their implications. He presented us with clear cost figures along the way and answered our questions readily. We got invaluable help on design issues from the suppliers that K&B works with. We always felt that the designers were working with us to find solutions that would suit our tastes. Rafal Szczepanowski, of R&E Construction, spent long hours in our home doing the actual electrical, plumbing, tile, carpentry, and miscellaneous work. He was a conscientious worker with remarkable attention to detail. He was congenial and quick to consult us when any decisions needed to be made--from placement of drawer pulls and light fixtures to incorrectly delivered parts. We have used Kitchen and Bath Factory for several home remodeling projects. The owner, Bob Kay, is extremely imaginative. He helped us transform what we thought was useless space into a bar that is now the centerpiece of our entertainment area. He also helped us turn an oddly-shaped leftover space in our basement floor plan into a beautiful bathroom with a large double shower. We were so happy with Bob's work that, when it came time to sell one of our condominiums, we turned to Bob for guidance in updating the kitchen. Kitchen & Bath Factory helped us re-do our bathrooms. The bathrooms are beautiful, and the work was finished on-time and on budget. The contractor that worked with us was expert, and his subs did a great job - in particular, the tile work is awesome. Kitchen & Bath Factory has a well-developed process to help you go step-by-step to getting the work done, and we found that to be helpful and reassuring. The process was not perfect. The demolition of the existing bathrooms left our house with dust everywhere. The contractors were diligent about cleaning up the space in which they worked, but the rest of the house was on us to clean up. Some better way to control the dust from debris would have made a huge difference. But while there were warts (and let's be real - all renovations have bumps in the road or unexpected things that happen), overall we are pleased, and when we go to do our kitchen redo, our first call will be to Kitchen & Bath Factory. read more

Kitchen & Bath Factory did an excellent job renovating my very outdated master bath. I chose them after receiving 3 quotes similar in price - but KBF stood out because (a) they had worked in my condo building before and were aware of its quirks, and (b) I met all of the principals who would be handling my job, including the designer (David), the contractor (Pawel), and the "keep the trains running on time" Janet. They started and ended the job when they said they would. They kept the price close to the estimate (I added some extra stuff along the way). They work with a fabulous plumbing and counter supplier. The vanity cabinet is high quality, as promised. Their recommended tile supplier (Mosaic Tile) had showroom/designer hours that were totally incompatible with mine, but KBF allowed me to work with the stellar Sonia at Architectural Ceramics instead. Kitchen and Bath Factory and their superb staff designed and brought to life the master bath of my dreams. They were professional and very knowledgeable about all of the complicated aspects of creating this bathroom that would incorporate all of my wants and desires. Kitchens are easy to renovate compared to bathrooms. This project required a timetable to bring in the materials and items for installation,coordination between the different installers, scheduling of the varied vendors to take exact measurements, and finally a precise timetable for each of the items to be installed. This job was complicated to say the least. Everything went smoothly, amazingly without any glitches. I am enjoying my beautiful master bath every day. Thank you KBF, Bob and David. Update: I held out and finally got my builder to allow me to use Kitchen and Bath Factory cabinets. They are beautiful, and I'm so glad I fought for them! David and Bob are very professional and helpful, and there are no hidden costs or surprises. You'll sit down with David and he will walk you through every element of the design, and you'll see the costs pulled from a menu. No mystery and no drama. The other thing I like about David is he doesn't take anything personally. If you don't like something or have a question, he will calmly explain all of your options to you, without making you feel like you are being judged. It was an extremely positive experience working with them, and I'm looking forward to the bathroom vanity cabinet and the custom entertainment stand that they are going to build for us! read more

We had our kitchen cabinets designed and built by the Kitchen & Bath Factory. David was superb in helping us create a kitchen that was functional and beautiful, including designing a cabinet unit to hide our washer and dryer. We wanted a "green" cabinet and found one that utilized reclaimed wood. David worked with us in getting them stained to match our window frames and we must admit, they are gorgeous!! The entire process was on schedule and David met with our contractor to measure, re-measure and outline the process. We are "over the top" delighted with the customer service and our kitchen. I looked into other companies prior to going with Kitchen & Bath Factory and found not only were they the best priced, but were very personable and seemd to really care about doing the best job they could, not just trying to get in and out the door as fast as they could. I love my new bathroom, I wouldn't change anything about it. They were a very clean and professional crew. I plan on having them design a new one for my basement in the next few months.
