I tried to print something here twice. Both times the customer service was unhelpful and gave no useful direction to accomplish my goal. After coming back a second time to print the same document I was finally told that they cannot print Excel sheets. To which I replied "Well I wish this was on your website so I would have not have wasted my time." To which I was told by a young women working there, "Yea I wish it was too so I wouldn't have to talk to people like you." Nice. This store is a menace. If you want to waste your time and be insulted by the employees, stop on by. Otherwise do your business elsewhere. This Staples does not seem to understand that fundamentally everyone can do practically everything online now. We don't need you Staples. People go into stores because they NEED ASSISTANCE and HELP with a product or service. If your store cannot grasp that basic core aspect of your business model, your store and brand will not last. read more

This store has some stuff but prompt, reliable and knowledgeable are not it. 2.21.18 Tried calling store to see if I could run a thumb drive over and get 9 pages printed off or if they were busy. Tried calling 3 times and couldn't even get someone to answer the phone the first 2 tries. I was hanging up the 3rd time when a voice said hell- click before i hung up. The lame automatic phone system prompting me to buy online and then confusing listeners with all kinds of bogus titles is a huge waste and roadblock separating customers from purchases. They tried to talk me into buying insurance for the phone I was buying - they said I could scam the insurance and keep the phone. I told them I was not interested and did not want the insurance. But when I got home I saw they had billed me for the insurance. Also, when I brought some file folders to the cashier they scanned out at double the price listed on the rack. Then he said they didn't have any more of the cheap ones. No apologies. It seems that Staples has new policy - cheat the customer whenever and however possible. I went to this location as it is close to my work and I needed a large document printed and bound. When I got there there were two people in front of me- one needed a check verified which was taking the printer clerk awhile to do. When I asked - another of her coworkers- if there was someone else to help he just said no. No offer to help no offer to get someone to see if they could help. Just no. So I'll take my very large order to Office Depot where I know they can help. And if they can't at least they will make the effort to find someone who can. Hard to even give this shop one measly star. Had not one but two conversations with gal at the print counter about printing large, full sheet labels. "No problem, we do it all the time," says the gal. Four hours later on my way to collect my order, one hour from my deadline, I get a call: "We don't print big labels, just return labels." Well why did your associate tell me in two conversations that you did? I asked. "Hey I just take the orders and we don't do big labels." Now I'm screwed with my client. No apology, no "What can we do given our ineptitude?" Never going back to this store. Suggest you don't either. read more

The worst customer service I've ever experienced at an office supply store. Not even a "just a moment, I'll be right with you". Just ignored left and right when I had questions. Also, when I was being rung up, the cashier insisted on continuing to try and look me up to see if I had an account, even after I said, "oh, never mind, I guess I don't have one". I came into this store this week and the customer service there wasn't good. I asked for What I was looking for and the man who helped me got a little snappy with me cause I wasn't specific about which map I needed. Then when he was showing me yo where It's at a man asked him a quick question where something else was but this employee ignored him completely and even cussed to me saying "goddamn I'm helping someone else" I am a sales employee and I'd never say something like that to customers I'd notify them I'd help after this customer! Went there for shredding service they offer. Funny that they ask you to leave your boxes/plastic bags and they will shred it for you in the afternoon! The whole idea about shredding is the lack of "trust". Then after minor argument, they agreed that I do it myself but the bin's opening is so small that you can only put a few paper at a time! Stop by to get a document bound the person behind the counter was chatting with another coworker ignoring me for ay least 3 minutes. Something that can take less than 5 minutes. Normally great service here. Here today and there is only one xerox machine open out of five. And that machine just froze. All the rest of the machines say that they are unavailable. This is the main reason I come to staples and it is very frustrating. read more

WORST customer service ever. There was a line to print at the copiers because apparently it wasn't working properly. I asked Michelle if she could print one page for me and she said no it would be a four hour wait. And walked away and rolled her eyes to the other employee she was standing chatting with earlier. When I asked to speak to a manager to the other associate, all of a sudden they could print my paper in two seconds. You do realize there's like a million printing places that people can bring there business to. It's not like you offer a service that can't be easily found somewhere else. read more

Shipping anything here is a complete nightmare. Never have the right size boxes, and Staples' ridiculous system makes you re-type the entire label AFTER you've already hand-written it on the package itself. Everything is set up so that the people behind the counter have to do as little as humanly possible to help, which leads to a bunch of clueless customers milling around aimlessly trying to get things packaged and shipped. I much prefer a traditional pack and ship with real service, but I am a slave to convenience and it always ends up biting me in the rear. read more

Copiers and the ability to print from a USB drive are often broken. I went today to print a one page document and every copier/printer with USB were out of order. Usually you can go to the print desk and they will print a document right away. Today they told me a 4 hour wait time and had a bad attitude about it. I go there often since I live down the street but I'll be happy when I find a different solution. This place is not good read more

You need color copies done in a pinch, these girls and boys are great! Great customer service and the store IS ALWAYS CLEAN and organized, cant say much for the other stores in the area, but this one is a pleasure to walk into. The only thing that kinda blows about this place is there is always a long LINE. I guess its the only office supply store within a 15 mile radius since Kinko's closed a few years ago. This used to be my go-to location for supplies and printing for my home-based proposal preparation business. I use a lot of supplies and printing, and the service used to be acceptable. NO LONGER. Not only did their checkout system not accept payments, but they were unable to take cash in a prompt manner. When I got upset (on the fourth different attempt to pay) the supervisor told the clerk to "walk away". Nice customer service policy! I left cash on the counter. They owe me change and a receipt for the toner recycle I brought in. I am done with this company. read more

I ran into Staples to get more expensive ink for printer...I picked the wrong ink..can't tell difference between a one and a seven..brought it back, Kevin was super friendly..surrendered my receipt, found the ink I needed..but Kevin wasn't around. So, I made eye contact with nameless person standing at another cash register...he was the least friendly person I have encountered this month. When he gave me receipt, I asked where contest was..I spent $129.00 on ink and there is a Staples Survey with a $5000.00 prize ..but he said oh you can find it on line..and I said but it won't have an id number and he said "oh" and simply ignored me. Had a terrible experience recently at Staples. I have been a regular customer spending thousands of dollars every year. This company really is not customer oriented. They did a very bad job on a copy order that I placed and would not fix. I called the corporation in Boston, and they didn't care either. I wanted to speak to the manager, but she wasn't there. I then wanted to speak to the district manager, but they said that wasn't possible. I left two messages for Michele in the copy and print. She never returned any calls. Spoke to Alex and he presented himself as the manager, when he was the team leader. He was rude and just obnoxious. They don't care if they make a mistake in copy and print. I called and they transferred me to a computer associate and he was so rude. I asked him where a serial number would be located after telling him it wasn't on the bottom of the computer and he told me to bring it in and he would show me since I couldn't figure it out. Once I told him again it wasn't on the bottom of the computer and I checked all the numbers he hung up on me. read more

This is a pretty normal Staples. The location can be a little crazy due to the high volume of traffic if you don't know what you're doing. Selection is so-so. There is ground-level parking lot and also space upstairs up a huge ramp if you're not lucky. If you're looking for something specific, I would suggest checking their website and calling ahead to make sure they have what you need. Their office furniture/desks can be a good option for college students on a budget. read more

Came here to process a return from a web order. The customer service was excellent, not having the original receipt or credit card for purchase they were able to assist in the return. Although it is a smaller location there is a large parking lot and more importantly exceptional customer service. read more

They are so lucky there is no negative starring as that's exactly what they deserve for the poor service they provide... I tried to simply print 2 Powerpoint in color by using the self center, man where did I get myself into?!! - On the first day I tried THE printer and it was out of order (yes be aware there is only ONE color printer in the staples). Did I read their ad wrong ? " Staples is the world's largest office products company and a trusted source for office solutions, providing products, services and expertise in office supplies, technology, furniture, Copy & Print". - On day 2 I attempted 6 times (I know I am resilient!) and would get various error messages. Result? no printing. There was a lovely staff member (yes there is one!) that offered me to print it on the dot as she has seen my struggles the previous times I came. Unfortunately they couldn't print from the cloud and I hadn't the latest version of my pptx on the USB stick. - On day 3 I returned with a USB stick to be on the safe side. THE color printer was already in use by a lady that was copying the MOMA catalog ( I swear!). I asked the printing center if they could print it right away as it was my 3rd attempt this week but gave me the same usual sh..t to wait 4h. - On day 4 I relived day 2 (groundhog day for those who remember!) but this time I asked to speak with the manager. He was empathic like an amoeba (I use the analogy as they are both unicellular organism, there can't be more than one brain cell in that guy) and repeated me the 4h rules even though I explained him the whole story. To be clear I had 2 dock of about 20 pages each and I didn't use the online printing cos my staples reward card was not recognized online (I had just signed up 10 days ago).
