There are a number of UPS locations in the area, but the thing I really like about this location is it's in a large shopping center with plenty of parking and you can hit multiple errands in one go which is helpful. Location was clean and well organized. I just popped in for a return (no cost to me) and the process took all of 60 seconds. This location is charges for everything!!!. They charged me to print a prepaid UPS shipping label. And they charged me for two pieces of clear tape to seal the box. Not using this location again. The UPS store in El Segundo is better. They have not charged me for printing prepaid labels or a trivial amount of shipping tape. read more

I always feel weird review a business like this. Is a 5 too high? What constitutes a 5? And then I usually just say "F it." If I had a good experience and would come back, it's a 5, even if this is how the business should run. So, unapologetically, I give this location a 5. Let's get down to it because this will be straightforward and to the point. They rarely have other customers inside, so there is little to no wait. The employees are always nice and helpful. They handle pre-paid shipping returns or just pre-paid shipping labels period professionally and friendly. Never a holdup in the service; they even go out their ways to satisfy customers. They've fixed the tape on a box before; reprinted a label that just wasn't scanning. No attempts at trying to make you feel some type of way (see my UPS Store review for the one on Slauson -- I stopped going in there a while ago). Bottom line, if possible, I travel farther to this location in Marina because they are easy and cool to work with. Final Words: I go there for a reason. Never a bad experience. read more

Terrible customer service! I shipped a package with them and the gentleman at the front desk offered to put the label on my (reused) box and tape it shut for me. Great, 10/10 for that guy! I then received the box 2 days later as he had put the new label on the box and crossed it off accidentally rather than affix it over the previous shipping label. Ok, mistakes happen but when I went back to get them to just reprint the label they refused and would only offer me a 25% discount on paying for it to be reshipped! They made the mistake, why should I pay another $20 to ship the same package twice?!? I went 200 yards to the USPS office bc I'd rather give them the $$ and will never go back to this location again! If your staff makes a mistake you fix it, not punish the customer! read more

Some of the staff here are good, and some not so much. I sent two letters on consecutive days to another part of LA. For the first one, they said use Ground Shipping and gave me a 50c envelope to put the letter in. For the second one, they said send it 2 day air and insisted I buy an envelope from a rack which only had small media mail envelopes. Not sure how they would have managed to send it air, maybe just fly it around over LA for a few hours and then land where they took off from. And why was a regular UPS cardboard envelope OK the first day and not the second? read more

Anytime you talk to one of the girls behind the counter they stare at you like a deer in headlights, like they have no idea what you're talking about. Must be why it's new people every time. Ran in here PANICKED on a Saturday literal moments before they closed and Jennifer, Nayeli and Ben not only were super chill with my procrastinating self but also took their time with me and made sure my package would arrive in the two days that I needed it to arrive. Worst customer service. First of all they take Amazon returns but make you pay $1.50 to print the label. Then they just send you over to the computer to figure it out. When you finally get back to the counter they say "you need to tape that up" oh but they offer complimentary tape for YOU to do it even though THEY tape the label that you BOUGHT. Thanks for the complimentary tape. Maybe consider upping your customer service up to the Amazon level. read more

I went there on Dec15th 2020 around 6:40pm and the 2 ladies who worked there were so rude and unprofessional to the point that I left the store without getting anything done. It was my first time in this location since I just moved to the neighborhood. Let me tell you this... I will never ever go back there and I suggest the manager to train his/her employee to be nicer. I didn't mail anything...preferred to do it some other time but give business to somebody who appreciates the customer. 0 out of 10 for customer service. YOU LOST MY PACKAGE. Not only that you lost my package and didn't care. You pointed me to the sign which I have attached in the review. I almost laughed when I read it, it was as if you knew I was coming. This has clearly happened multiple times before. It's OK though I guess as it was only 'Power of Attorney' documents which had virtually been round the world and signed by 6 previous people. The cost to replace this document was through the roof. When I came in to try and locate the document, the manager at the time was having an argument with a customer and was saying 'We are a retail store and have to mark up the prices'. This place is a joke. Whoever is the manager or owner of this place should seriously open their eyes and realize that the two African American females that are employed at this location are lazy, and need to be fired immediately. I will start by saying as I entered the store both women were on their cell phones very pre-occupied and deep in conversation with each other. When I walked up to the counter they both gave me that "what the hell do you want" look and it was almost like I was interrupting them. I told them I had a presentation that I needed bound with a spiral bound. One of the female co-workers looked at the other and said "are we doing that today?" The other girl says "nope, I think our machine is broken. You should go to Admiralty Way location and they can do it for you." Clearly, their machine was not broken as it was sitting right in front of me, and they made it very clear that they did not want to help me. That's fine.. I went to FedEx Kinkos next door.
