I called Alex and about 10:00 am and he was here, on time, as scheduled, at 11:30 am. Alex is very professional and knew what he was doing. I had everything ready because I am a nut. He had all done in less than 10 minutes. He went to leave and I walked out my door and locked myself out. Now, for me, this is dangerous. I don't walk well without help now and I am not strong enough to get in my own driveway gate. Poor Alex. He was so kind. He figured out how to open the gate, which is no easy task and stayed with me as I tried the side door, which was also locked. He also got to meet my jumpy, hairy, but adorable dogs, one a pit bull and the other a St. Bernard and was so good with them. He told them not to jump on him and they tried to listen. He got his legs licked and I just wanted to never stop saying sorry. Of course, we could not find the spare key as my husband moved it and never told me. I did not have my phone. Alex called my husband and they, not me, figured out where the key was. He waited for me to open it and made sure I was okay. Again, my walking is an issue. The dogs followed in and Alex got another lick or two on his legs. He never complained. He did not abandon me like many would. He made sure I was safe before he left. His prices are super reasonable. A year ago I was crushed between two cars, I'm lucky to have my legs and be walking although it's witb a cane most days and with a limp on good days. I am college educated witb a Masters in Art teaching and a BFA. So it's extremely humiliating to deal with a woman who knows from the moment you walk in that she's not cashing your check. I've been there three times over the past year and today was the last time. Each time I have a check for 5k from a accident loan office and each time they have come up with another excuse for having me walk all the way there just to tell me come back on Monday when they can Baruch the check, thinking it's fraud and I wouldn't come back. Only to look me in my face and make up some 1960 banking excuse. Let's be clear I worked for Wachovia in college and I know that every check can be verified they didn't even call. I emailed the CONTRACT from the loan company letting the lady know they can contact the company directly and even call my Lawyer. The woman was extremely condescending and uneducated, she said "oh he must be a nice lawyer to loan you money like this" not comprehending that it was through a loan company and this is regular practice for high value cases. I am in the process of filling a complaint with ICE cause she nearly speaks English and she has the worst racist attitude she treats every word like your lie'n to her, and somehow at 6% they turn down $300 to cash a check. She watches me limp out of there and that to she must think is an act. Not all black people are the same and you can't treat AMERICAN CITIZENS like this. And to the owner your no better you could have talked to me on the phone or answered my email before you have a handicap man walk there for no reason. I'll be filing reports to the better Business aswell as my local officials. If this is a payday check cash then advertise as such. We pay ALOT to live in Santi Monica.
