Lisa was just lovely applying 3 coats of polish to make the light green metallic stand out. Very thorough work and gentle. Gel manicure was only $45 Friendly service will come back again! Park in the residential side watch the signs since Montana gets busy! read more

Really disappointing experience at Montana Mail. The young counterperson at the front was smug, rude, and completely unaccommodating -- I asked for literally one piece of tape and he told me I'd have to buy a whole roll instead. On top of that, their shipping prices feel way overinflated compared to other mailbox places nearby. And to make things worse, the vendor delivery trucks are constantly allowed to block the main drive, so just getting in or out of the lot is a hassle. Not going back, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone either. read more

My go to for Brazilian waxes. Location is clean, always on time and gets me in and out quickly. Highly recommend!

So happy to see them expand their store. Beautiful store, great service, we ran from 1626 Montana to this mailbox store down the street and recommend it to everyone. Clearly very professionally run and at the same time very personable. You can tell the people working there love it. Mailboxes are also reasonable and they take great care of your Amazon packages. Best mailbox place in the Wilshire Montana area. read more

Excellent service-friendly staff-extremely organized-always a treat for our pup. We love going here and appreciate how helpful everyone at Montana Mail is. Thank you!! Highly recommend. read more

Best mail service on the Westside if not all of LA! I was at a great one for 20 yrs in Beverly Hills till they closed down. So glad I found Montana Mail! read more

Friendly staff, impeccable service. Montana Nail Salon is my new go-to . Quality service , friendly vice.

Store is beautiful but it don't go well with me when I made some keys to be exact 5 basic keys and I was given a $45 charge! That's insane, the gentleman said sorry but the keys you chose were different price but I feel that he should have said it will be 4 times the basic key charge. Regardless this was my first experience with this store and I really wanted to be a good one . I think it was a learning experience for me that going forward to always ask for exact price of any service before buying anything. Service was very good. My issue was that surprise factor. I just think the clerk should be forthcoming on price specially when a charge is going to be out if the normal. read more

LOVE this place! I have been going there for over a decade. I don't normally write reviews but MM is one of the friendliest business establishments in Santa Monica. Garo was amazing and now the new owner Jasmit has picked up where he left off without missing a stride. The next level customer service, and always being greeted by my name, makes me feel like a person and not just a credit card #. If there's ever a problem, Jasmit Singh is a master problem solver. Plus, you can feel that small town warmth in the midst of a big city. read more

I went here to mail out some packages internationally and a few packages locally. I spent a good amount of time here and I was so pleasantly surprised by the all of the help and the way the boxes were packed etc. turns out the guy put the switched the slips on my boxes going to Europe so they went to the wrong places. It has been a complete nightmare to try and resolve. One of the packages needed to get to France at a specific time and of course never got there. When I called to tell the person working there he didn't apologized and barely acknowledged the error. I was really disappointed and sadly am still dealing with this 3 weeks later. I have a newborn baby so this has been really hard and a huge waste Of time and money. I'd double check everything before sending things out. read more

This was my first visit and I was disappointed. I went for Passport Photos and copies of the application. The people were very kind. I appreciated their friendly, prompt service. The owner (I think) offered to honor the price given over the phone the day before on passport photos. When I returned home and looked at the pages printed, I realized there were extraneous and unclear lines on the application. I called to let them know and the woman kindly offered a refund saying their printer was in need of service. Later I looked at the passport photos again and realized my face had a shiny glaring light (shadow), was weird, as someone commented, pixelated. I realized why I hadn't liked the image earlier. When I called again to let them know, the same woman answered, saying the flash was necessary and the cause of the unflattering glare. She was adamant repeatedly talking over me insisting. I wasn't pleased. Perhaps there is another way. I appreciated their service just not the results. read more

Have been there a little while ago, so it was Terrible, That woman was so rude, Malach i think her name.

Honestly the best! I love these guys ! Always so thoughtful and professional. I go here for all my shipping needs. They have cute little gifts as well and snacks! read more

I would pay 5x the price of the post office here simply to avoid the nightmare that is the Wilshire USPS. After waiting in line for over an hour at that location and not being served (you can see my other review on that if you want to know what to avoid), I was in and out of Montana Mail in less than 60 seconds. Extremely fast service and the employees are both friendly and helpful. read more

Always friendly, always helpful (especially with trickier items like international packages)

Montana Mail is one of the friendliest and quickest mail offices I've ever been to! I recently moved into the area and was looking to set up a box, and the staff was extremely nice and made the process a breeze! If you are looking for great ways to send or receive mail, I highly recommend Montana Mail! read more

I've been Montana Mail client for more than 10 years now. Jasmit and his team are phenomenal people. Always helpful and with the best predisposition, something that you don't find everywhere. There are many services in one place, and that is super helpful. Thank you Montana Mail! read more

This amazing establishment has all the needs you want if you need help Ask Jenn she's amazing at what she does there

The employees at Montana Mail are always so nice and helpful. They provide efficient and great service and always ease the headaches of shipping and returning things via mail. The best! read more

Super convenient if you live nearby vs. going to the post office, however you will pay a premium if you need shipping materials. Last time I went the employees were super nice and helpful and were realistic about how long my package would take from Ship date to delivery. Not sure if he's gone but did experience a super grumpy man a couple times who told me they are not just a drop off for packages that already have postage and let regulars picking up mail jump ahead of me but didn't communicate he wanted to get the quick transactions handled before he boxed up my item. It is super clean and have Covid restrictions in place. read more

I have only good things to say about this mailbox the location is so convenient, I always get parking and, especially the new owner, is kind and helpful. read more

Highly recommend! Skip the post office and go here instead. You can get labels or drop off packages for USPS, Fedex, UPS, DHL. So convenient! The parking lot is a tight fit so I'd recommend using your smaller vehicle if you have a choice or walking if you are nearby. They also sell shipping materials (bubble wrap, tape, etc.). Super kind employees even offered my pooch a treat! 10/10 read more

My preferred shipping shop in the neighborhood. Reliable, friendly, trustworthy, great. I've had so many problems with the big corporate shops near by and this independent business is top notch. Recommend! read more

It is not often that I review businesses but Montana Mail has changed my life... I used to have to go to the post office or ups or fed ex but now I do ALL my business at Montana Mail. They are Fantastic !!! So thorough and helpful and kind and I feel as though I live in a small town with their personal and friendly service. I have just renewed my mail box there for the year ahead... and absolutely happy to write the check for another year of fabulous service...& they also notarize & do passport photos too !!!! A Santa Monica treasure !!! Thanks to all of you at Montana Mail 1112 Montana Ave ... for being so fabulous !!! read more

These guys do notarization and are just generally so nice and accommodating that I would do all my mailing with them if I lived closer

Never heard of a place that marks up the cost of a sheet of stamps - until now! Montana Mail marks up everything. And they can't even afford to have decent internet. Was in the area and needed a FedEx drop-off. They don't take QR codes so you have to email them the label - and they charge $1 for a receipt because they have to print it. Unless you have money to burn, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. read more

The best service on Montana Avenue. Shipping, shredding, deliveries, street address for a PO box and genuinely kind people. Highly highly recommend. read more

This is the best post office in the world. It is a small local business and they take pride in helping their customers and will pack pretty much anything! Even though I don't live in the area anymore I will drive to Montana Mail instead of using the post offices nearer to my home. The staff is so on point, the space is clean and organized, they practice safe Covid guidelines. If you want to avoid post office anxiety and know your packages will be packed and shipped 100%, go out of your way to Montana Mail. read more

Went in to open a new mailbox for my business having just moved to the area. When hearing what I wanted to do a man with glasses and pepper hair said "I guess we can do that, timing is everything and this is the worst time." Um, ok it's 12:31 on a Friday and I called ten minutes earlier letting them know I would be coming in? After some sighing he looks at me up and down and says "you can't just 'open a mailbox' you need a license. Do you have a license?" Again, um yes sir I am a 35 year old lawyer, and surprisingly I have a drivers license! His tone and demeanor were incredibly rude and I ended up leaving because I don't think I could bear to see this man every time I have to get my mail. read more

do not recommend coming here for passport photos. First off all they had to retake it twice in person and then ultimately the one I left with got rejected when submitted for not being correct within specs causing my passport renewal to be delayed. read more

I have NEVER written two reviews about the same establishment... NEVER... until now... four months later. All I can say is I needed help, and Cash and Jasmit were there for me. They care about the customer, they are honest - and let's face it, in today's climate it's rare - SUPER nice, and accommodating. Anyway, if you want a small town feel with excellent service, don't bother with anyone else. These are your dudes! read more

I found them on the DHL website as an official drop off site. A gentleman there greeted me and took my box and pleasantly gave me a drop off receipt. It was busy on Montana Ave., but they have two dedicated parking spots in front of the store so it was easy. The cleaners right next door have two parking spots too, so I think I will check their prices and maybe try them next. I was concerned after all these old disturbing poor reviews, but it appears the more recent Montana Mail being under new ownership and being a great place now reviews are true. read more

Have my PO Box here and I always get my mail. Can't ask for anything else from a PO Box. If I forget my key they help me. If I get a big package they sometimes call and let me know. (Probably to save space but it's nice nonetheless.) Prices are good for SM area. read more

Always go above and beyond. And, I dropped my wallet amongst a bunch of packages and Christopher stayed open later so I could pick it up. May be more expensive than the post office but every one of the staff is super kind and helpful so its worth coming here for that. Yay local! read more
