Great local print shop that can get both small and big jobs done. You walk in and get greeted by the owner and they take care of you, hard to get that kind of service nowadays read more

Nice guys, but every time I go in for anything I have some mishap. They took my husband's passport photo, but it was not accepted by the passport office so he had to get (and pay for) another one done at CVS - which has a program that tells you if it clears all the criteria. I've had them send out packages FedEx and it took them a while to enter, print and then put the label on. Today, I had a fedex return with QR code which should be an easy drop off, except they don't have a scanner so I had to email the label to them to print. He had to go on 2 different computers to print the label, then had to refill the paper, then he printed the label too big, and finally was able to print the label. In addition to all that time, he then charged me $1.50 to print the label because he doesn't have the scanner? I could've printed it at home and taped it to the box for free had I known..... all for supporting local small businesses, but would really appreciate if they were more efficient. read more

I've been standing here for minutes while the old guy at the store is having a full on conversation with his homie on his ear piece. What should have been a quick drop off was me standing here, looking at a wall for minutes, while he smack talked a lady the phone. Horrible service. I'm still waiting to be helped....instead I'm hearing him bad mouth a lady. A customer is waiting, the phone is ringing, and he's catching up with a friend over the phone. After I called him over again (I'm parked in the 10 min parking zone and have waited over 10 minutes) for him to finish his conversation with his friend. Just for him to come and tell me he can't scan my FedEx qr even though this is supposed to be a FedEx authorizated shipper. Worst service I've ever had. Never coming back. Don't waste your gas or money. read more

Local printing place but to be honest we have only used them for passport pictures! Worked great both times. No issues. Gentleman that's there is very friendly and patient. read more

I just had a large banner printed there. I didn't price shop so can't verify if it was a good deal at $530, but they did it quickly and were responsive, which I appreciated. However, when I picked it up there were 3 ink stains on the bottom of the banner of which they said would wipe off. However, when they tried to do so, they didn't wipe off and the cleaner they used turned the light yellow background white. It wasn't worth asking for a reprint since it will be outside, but a brand new banner has 3 ink stains behind 3 white dots. There wasn't an apology or offer for a small discount either. I'll simply go elsewhere moving forward and advise others to do so, as well. read more

Always reliable! Quality printing, good variety of services. Great neighborhood business.

It's a family owned business they are very nice and helpful. The whole thing was super quick and easy. Can't wait to come back and get some more stuff printed. It was also not too expensive so it was definitely worth it. read more

He I ask for colors and back and he slickly print everything on "laser paper" supposedly colors paper. I ask for both and ask for my money back. I told him it was dishonest and he called the police. This place was a lifesaver in helping us get some last minute items printed for my sister's wedding. Moe was so helpful in making sure the items would print how we wanted, and got it done super quickly. He was great to work with. We'll definitely be coming back here for printing needs. Highly recommend! read more

Printed an academic poster here with a quick turnaround. They were out delivering when I arrived to pick it up, but when I called, they immediately followed through by dropping the poster off at my house for free. Seems like a business that will always make it right with the customer. read more

Very quick and helpful!!!! Really helped me on a last minute print of my acting headshot and resume!

As expected, I needed to get something done in a bit of a time crunch. I had to print diaper raffle cards for my best friend's baby shower invitations. I sent an e-mail to Printex for a quote and Fred wrote me back immediately. There was a slight issue with the card design--it was made to be printed on regular card stock, but had the look of kraft paper. Fred figured out a way to print the cards and they turned out great! A month or so later, I of course in another time crunch, needed some more cards made for the actual baby shower. I e-mailed Fred once again and unfortunately, I had another snafoo with the design I purchased off Etsy. He again, fixed the card, and I was a happy customer once again. Each time, the cards were delivered before the expected completion date, they looked amazing, and were affordable. read more

Rude, very rude. The employee in his early 60, perhaps with hearing and attention issues, made a 18x24 inch canvas print, instead of the 18x24 inch matte paper print in black and white and in colour, which I told him to do. He requested $72 for his mistake. When I tried to explain to him that he was inattentive and mistaken and that I requested the paper matte print, he began yelling at me. I told him I had 2 copies of the requested paper matte prints and I paid only $8 for both Last week printed at the same print shop but by another employee , he rudely told me to get out. Rude! Impatient, inattentive and rude! Bad manners. read more

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! These gentlemen helped me print same day funeral programs for my dad's service. They even took the time to print me samples at no extra charge. They were patient, kind, and worked fast. Worth every penny and I would gladly use them again for any other printing needs. read more

We rarely have need of a printer, but when we do we never figure that they'll lie about a job and charge us more money for it. We needed printing done in color and B/W and were quoted the corresponding costs for each, but we got charged for ALL color prints. That's right. Even the B/W prints were charged at the color price. Never pay for printing upfront. Always go through the run and then dish out the cash. Caveat Emptor, I guess. read more

Do not come here. Not friendly, not helpful, not honest. I came here with a project and one of the guys working immediately prints me a proof then tells me it costs $$$. I told him its a card, why didn't he print on higher paper stock and he prints it again and adds another charge. He does this without any apology or remorse and blames me, the customer. That's not acceptable. I went through with the printing only because it was time sensitive. The prints are bad quality even though I provided high resolution files (I am a designer). Colors were off, the print was a bit blurry, and their cuts were off centered. Complete trash. Do not give them a shot. Do not ignore the bad reviews and only read the good ones. They do not deserve your business. read more

I do not generally leave Yelp reviews. This place has the Worst customer service ever! I stopped by to drop off a pre-paid FedEx package and waited more than 15min before leaving because I was not attended. As most people know- there are specific FedEx pickup times and I wanted To make sure I met the deadline. The person there was too busy on the phone discussing how to convert a garbage on his corner lot. Definitely not going back there again. Do yourself a favor a drive the 15min to the FedEx store on Sepulveda if you are looking for FedEx services. read more

I have been using Printex for well over 15 years for both personal and professional projects. They are always fast, professional, pleasant -- a pleasure to work with. The quality is always outstanding and cost very reasonable. I had a friend refer me here because her families business has used Printex. I needed 2 prints made. I called and spoke with a friendly man who explained how it worked. I told him specifically what I needed , size, paper type and that I wanted it glossy He tells me it is between $5 and $7 dollars for the entire job . I say ok, great . I take a Lyft from Hollywood to Printex. This is a pretty hefty cost but I feel it will be worth it . When I get there I take out the frames I have tell him I have two prints I want made and that I called on the phone a few days ago and was told fine. He says that wasn't me and then in a very unfriendly tone says did you email us. I said no I wanted to show you first. He says in a flat unfriendly tone , email us and points to the email address. Another woman comes in and he starts talking to her in the same tone. He is now in back of the store and tells her to come here. I can here him helping her. I am a bit flustered since I was first but figure ok her job might just be small so no big deal. She is at the register and he. Says out loud what do you want. ? I say are you talking to me ( no not in the senior voice), he says yes. What do you want me to do, he tells me to come here and I walk over with my frame and tell him I want the photograph printed to fit in the frame. We go around a bit on size and he expands it and it looks fine so I say go ahead. He asks if the two images are the same and I say no they are similar. He still is just completely unfriendly. I go to the front counter and get the frames ready. It takes him all of 10 minutes maximum to print and cut my photographs. He makes sure I like them. They look good but not the same as they were on computer and I say that. He says nothing. He says are you ready to pay I say yes and he say 20.00 . I say what ? That isn't what I was quoted. That is way more. He calmly says, you probably didn't tell him what you needed. I say I was very clear about it. He says he probably didn't understand how much work was involved. What ? Not sure what he is talking about. Very simple job This is a crock of bull hockey . I go to pay and don't have my credit card with me so I ask if he takes Paypal or Venmo. No , he responds. I end up putting money on a revolving credit card. He rings it up and it comes up as return. He says I am going to charge you $43.00. It is coming up we return. I say you can't I don't have it. ( the card only has the amount owed on it ). I say can you help the other person so it hopefully will go through. He co rubies to run it ignoring me as he talks to a young kid who was quoted a price on the phone if 30 for a poster and He doesn't agree with the kid , telling him to come in tomorrow morning when the other man is here . The kid says your the owner right ? He says yes but I don't want to deal With this, you can talk to him. The kid wants the job done sooner. He runs my card and it goes through. I ask him his name and he says Alan. He is the store owner folks and I don't recommend you go here. Very unprofessional. They have no set prices listed and they seem to make up what feels right at the time. Unprofessional and unfriendly was my experience along with a side of work that looked good but was way to expensive. Over all... you can find better ! read more

I needed a simple, color printout but didn't wanna go to a chain store. I much prefer to support local businesses, especially those that are most vulnerable to disappearing thanks to large corporations. So, I chose to visit Printex. I walked in and didn't see anyone at the counter. Though others have criticized this in their reviews, I have to say that I found this charming and it reminded me of older days when business owners were trusting of customers! I decided to take a few steps inside and find someone who could help. This wasn't very difficult at all, and soon my printing needs were taken care of. Service was prompt, efficient and polite. The price was fair and the quality of my printouts was way beyond what I actually needed. I walked out feeling like one happy customer and will definitely return when I have other larger print needs. read more

Worst customer service. Dropped in because of proximity to the cafe. I was extremely disappointed in the way my transaction was handled. Had to yell for someone to come to the front. He finally arrived. Started helping me then another customer flew in & distracted him. Instead of telling her to wait her turn he ignored me & got the address wrong on my form. After a painful 20 mins of waiting to mail off a single item I finally ring up & the price is disgustingly high. $18 for 5 day shipping. I didn't want to argue I just had to leave this place. I will never return. Too bad the customer service is so terrible. It a convenient location. read more

With a two-hour window the evening before Thanksgiving to print and mat a dozen easel-sized (20" x 30") colored poster boards for my wedding proposal and every other print shop in the entire metropolitan area not able to accommodate me, I could not be more grateful for all that Printex did to help make my very intensive project happen at the 11th hour. Not only did the owner adjust his closing time for me and take care of everything in a timely manner, but he also charged me less than what Kinko's and Michael's quoted for color printing and matting. And every single print turned out beautifully, resulting in an even better finished product than I originally had envisioned. Plus, Kinko's said it would've taken them nearly six times as long as it took Printex to complete the job. If you're looking to support a local, long-standing business that genuinely cares about their customers, delivers both quality and quantity in a reasonable timeframe, and doesn't overcharge, hands down, there isn't a better place than Printex that I've been to. I wish Yelp would let me give them more than five stars, have already referred them to many others, and look forward to hearing about their continued success for many years to come. read more

i like this place very much. contrary to the other reviewer, they stayed true to their quote over the phone. ive called them so many times asking questions and have never lost patience with me. i had printed a double sided card an they understood exactly what i needed, even reducing my image to 2% bec im a bonehead with layouting. the lady gave me a variety of cardstock to choose from, and they have a lot. my prints came out perfect and under $10 for doublesided printing on cardstock and cutting! it all happened in 10 minutes too! i would definitely come back here. read more

So, you're looking for somewhere to do your printing? Here's all you need to know. 1) Quality: Top notch. Ali always delivers a polished product. 2) Speed: Quick as a wink. I've walked in, emailed a document on my phone (after realizing my email to them was, sadly, in the Drafts folder...d'oh!), and was out the door with my finished copies in 5 minutes. 3) Price: Average for a printing job in the LA area -- but if you're in a rush, there's no one better! The same job at Staples would have added a $5 rush fee AND wouldn't have been available for another 4 hours. Printex FTW. In summary: Printex will save your life (or, at least, your job). read more

what a great experience I had at Printex! had to print an enormous amount of pages for my visa process, so I got quotes from a few different places and Printex matched all prices. I spoke to Fred on Friday and he made sure to leave a note for his partner, Mo, as I was coming the following day. when I arrived, Mo was there and he knew exactly who I was and confirmed the price I was given. he got my flash drive and opened all files to make sure everything was good to go before I left and told me I could pick up in about an hour. when I came back, we went through all files, he showed that he couldn't print a couple pages and showed me the problem, reprinted a few that needed to be reprinted, and separated all files so they didn't get mixed up. and what a pleasant person he was! we ended up having such a nice conversation while doing this, he was sweet, helpful, and went to great lengths so my needs were met! they definitely got me as a customer and I'll be sure to come back and make business with them! definitely recommend this place! read more

Excellent printing shop! I needed some high-quality prints on nice paper for a project of mine and I needed them asap on a Saturday. I went to 2 other print shops that just didn't perform... The first one gave me really ugly prints and the second one didn't have the right paper. Almost defeated, I decided to give this place a try. I was afraid of coming here because of what other reviewers have said about them overcharging but I didn't care. Well, this was absolutely not the case at all for me, in fact, they even gave me a lower price per print than the other places. So not only were they less expensive, but they also had the specific paper I needed and the prints came out great, all within a1 hour span. Oh, and did I mention they open Saturday?? This is super important for those of us who absolutely cannot take time off of our jobs and need to do our printing on the weekend. read more
