She knew exactly what had gone wrong, helped me complete the order and then turned-around the print job in less than an hour. All with a smile and no drama. Really great stuff. What a disappointment, I went there to buy a paper shredder on 1/6 around 9AM. A female sales representative (I wish I had gotten her name because she was very helpful) helped me pick a shredder and also suggested to include with my purchase a pack of shredder lubricant sheets and I did. So that's a shredder+ shredder lubricant sheets that she was able to almost sell me. I reach the registry and I ask I they have a bag to put the Shredder in, I do not have a car and the cashier said no. I asked why don't you have bags and a lady from the back, probably supervisor/manager shouted, we are all out of bags. ARE WE SERIOUS? A sales representative successfully helps a customer , the customer is ready to check out , AND YOU HAVE NO BAGS? REALLY. And on top of that I get an unpleasant response form that lady. The employees who work in the Copy & Print Center are amazing. That are efficient, helpful & extremely knowledgeable. This store is so busy all the time, and guess what?? It's busy because it's so great. So the next time you complain because you can't get your 7 copies at 10am, or you had to wait in line for 3 minutes, just remember you can go somewhere else and leave the associates available to help me and the other customers who appreciate them. In case you have never worked in retail before let me remind you, if you are rude you will be waiting longer. Be nice to people in retail, you will soon realize you will get a lot better service. I adore my team who help me all the time, and yes sometimes I have to wait because there are alot of other orders ahead of me. They receive orders all day long though email, over the phone, through the website, along with over the counter. You may think you are the only customer but they may have 30 orders ahead of yours. This review is for the Print and Copy Center. I had been in a month or two beforehand to ask questions about printing invitations and remembered Liz being so nice and helpful--and I knew that I would be taken care when I was ready to get my invitations done. I brought in a PDF file from Etsy and needed my pine cone wedding invitations, rsvps, information cards, and thank you cards all printed. I was there for over an hour, not because everything was taking so long, but because she was printing examples for me to see and resizing my cards to help them fit into the envelopes correctly. With everything I've been trying to accomplish for a wedding, I was SO relieved that someone really cared about my order. Liz was truly excellent at her job and seemed to know how to do EVERYTHING. My invitations came out AMAZING, and I couldn't be any happier--AND the price was SO affordable. I wouldn't even hesitate to bring any other project to the people at your Copy Center, it was hands down the best customer service I've had in a very long time. read more

Staples is awesome. The store has everything you need for school supply shopping. The people that work there are very nice, and they help you when you need to find something. The sales there are good. The merchandise may be expensive, but its worth it. Its better than getting cheap school supplies that don't even last the whole school year at another school. TERRIBLE! sent my phone to staples to get repaired and they fixed the physical damage but caused internal damage which made the device break again in less than 2 weeks so the device was sent out and I was told it would take 3 business day and I ended up waiting over a week and then when I called for a update on the phones expected delivery I was put on hold for over 30 minutes ! Would not recommend staples for tech services ! read more

I made an effort to be at the store this morning when it opened (10:00am) so I could have copies made of 7 images. I was the first person in the store and first customer at the copy center. The store seemed fully staffed - an employee meeting was just finishing up when I got to the copy desk. Regardless of my needs, I was told that copies could not be made while I wait - I would have to return this afternoon to pick them up. I said I only needed a few copies (one of each image), but again I was told I would have to return hours later. (Really?!) There were no other customers waiting behind me. I can understand if I had a large order, but having to travel back to the store to pick up 7 single copies (when I was the first customer of the day!) is rediculous. I left the store and will find another place to handle my copying needs. read more

I went to the staples store in somerville, MA for fax four page time sheet. First I try the small fax machine there, it doesn't work, not reading my credit card and show the message error, and then I ask for help, he tell me to use the big 3 in one copy print and fax machine, after accept my credit card, I hit submit, it said building.....processing. wait 5 minutes there, still building.....processing, I ask for help again, the same guy tell me wait two minutes, I wait for 5 more minutes there, and ask help again, I tell the manager in copy center, he ask me how many page for fax, I tell 4 page and wait more than 10 minutes, he went to the fax machine and turn the button off the screen. and then did not talk to me anything, just went back to the copy center and call. I continue to wait until the woman come to me, I feel no one want to help me, I bring her to the copy machine again, turn on the screen, still said building.....processing, 20 minutes...... she ask me the 4 page time sheet go back to the copy center inside and use the fax machine there, I wait 10 more minutes for 4 page fax, after done, she ask me the credit card again, I said I already paid there, if the previous payment go ok, it will charge me double. she said it won't, she said we did not charge the money for it. and then she charge me the money again, after I went back home, I call my credit card company, they charge me double, previous payment charge in my card. I call the staples, they tell me go to the store again, I mean I spend more than 30 minutes there for 4 page fax, and then I have to spend time to drive to the staples store again, their customer service is bad. I have been going to this Staples for two years until my computer broke down. No longer was it $100 to fix the computer but now, it was $70 for a diagnostic before anything was done. The diagnostic was done in two days and Staples wouldn't put anything in writing or tell me how much it would cost. I found a less expensive place and took my computer. Perhaps, Staples is good with staples but how much money are they trying to make with their computer repair. Shop around! read more

Ive used this Staples for the copy and print center a few times. They were helpful and quick with my prints. As for the other area of the store, ive looked for a few specific items multiple times that they just didnt carry. Ended up going to a different store. Overall good place and friendly and helpful workers. read more

This place seems to have a bad rap on Yelp. I've been using it for years. I occasionally use the print center. I buy various office supplies as well. They always have what I need. The staff, while not always expert, is always friendly and ready to help. Better than a lot of retail stores. read more

It's a review for the Copy& Print Center. I needed urgently some business cards. I was told that Staples could do it for the same day. So, I went online, and saw that if you ordered some business cards, you could go and pick them up 4 hours after directly at a Staple store of your choice. I chose Staples at 165 Middlesex Ave Somerville, MA 02145 (as I live in Somerville). 4 hours later, I went to this store, paid about $9 for 200 business cards I ordered online, et voila! The employees at the Assembly Square location are wonderful! Every time I've gone to the copy and print center, the employees were so nice, helpful, and patient. You couldn't have asked for better people! And those at the checkout were great as well. What a great team they have at Staples! read more
