I absolutely cannot say enough about James and Alec at this store: courteous, helpful, positive energy and they go above and beyond to assist with ANY packages. James would not allow me to help carry in a very large item a few months ago and Alec immediately greeted me at the door and took the extra-long packages that I was carrying and told me I should have called the store, and they would have come out to carry them into the store. They are cheerful while doing their duties and cannot be better employees. I hope the franchise owner respects and treats them as Class A employees because they are certainly the best marketing tool her business could have. Nice pleasant person at the counter. I didn't notice until I had left but he inflated the measurements of the box I shipped by one inch for Height, width, and length. I never thought I would write a review about UPS - but this place is exceptional. I just went there to send a return package. But the store clerk was very friendly, quickly get things done, and he even said "thank you for your business" when I was leaving. He made my day, I would be happy to come back again. In addition, I am not sure if the driver is from this exact location, but the UPS driver for my area (which is close to this location) is such a great man. Cummings and immediately remembered, I frequent this location several times when I was in Boston a couple years back. Back again yesterday? What a great place? What great service what kind treatment. I have vision problems and I don't understand the internet. They took care of my return all by themselves. I just gave them my phone. These guys must have been trained by a professional angel. Or it just comes intuitively. The exact polar opposite of the u p s store on cambridge road, buy whole foods in woburn. The ups store on Cambridge road. It was terrible, rude, an indignant and incompetent. Notary made in unintentional error on my birth. Certificate application, they forced me to come back and reapply. Instead of issuing a refund, then the lady who is obviously related to the manager in some way. What's going to charge me $5 to send me a confirmation Because that's what it costs to get on the internet. Computer They are not UPS staff, it's a third party vendor they must have been trained incompetent, rude, imbecile, ever ups has always been great. I've dealt with them for over 30 years. Never found a UPS store with such high ratings then I discovered why? I shipped a package to the UPS store for pickup on Friday but it got delayed and was rescheduled to Monday but I was flying out of town for a week and I had to have this package with me! I explained my scenario to Jason and he advised I email him a shipping label to redirect the package to me and then once the package arrived, he'd be on the lookout to send it out for me. Of course, the package gets delivered at 4:45 when Jason is alone and slammed. Yet, he still took the time to find my email to him, print out the shipping label and get it shipped before the 6 pm pickup. WOW! I work with many UPS and Fed Ex stores but never have had this service. This guy is the bomb and needs to be promoted! read more

I did not know this store existed and after yesterday I will go out of my way to go here. Last week I tried to drop off my item at Staples and was told I had to go to a UPS Store.(It would have been helpful if they told me it was across the street.) I was having trouble finding the label on my phone because I am old and have no brain cells left for technology. They could not have been more helpful. The man who helped me actually made my screen brighter for me-which I was planning on asking one of my kids how to do and they would have had a grand time teasing me on that. I walked in there to ship out a package, and left in such a happy mood. I was greeted by Lauri with a warm smile and such kindness. She was very fast and efficient, and let me know all of my options with shipping my package. I was nervous about the package being damaged, she opened it up and added more bubble wrap. She then sealed it back up to ensure that it would be completely safe during delivery. I cannot tell you how impressed I was with this experience . I left there feeling like I've known her for years. Truth is I've never met this woman in my life. It is very unfortunate that today so many businesses lack this level of customer service. But here at the UPS store this was just amazing. My package from Amazon was delivered to this UPS "Access Point." I arrived on a Sunday, and true, the package had not arrived then. However, I showed Jason my Info Notice and driver's license. That sparked Jason into a lot of attitude. He went into some lines about how "The UPS Store" is different from "UPS" and that he doesn't know what UPS does. Perhaps he's unaware of the rules - customer service and otherwise - pertaining to the UPS Access Points? Wednesday or Thursday I noticed online that UPS had delivered the package to this "Access Point" and that Jason had personally signed it in. At that point, I called this "UPS Store" back, with my Info Notice and 1Z notice. Jason flat out refused to even look for the package. A long argument resulted in yet more unnecessary attitude. The bottom line was that according to the UPS information, the package was at Jason's "Access Point." The information indicated that Jason signed in the package! After I gave my 1Z notice to Jason, Jason said, "Oh, that means nothing!" Jason refused to locate and deliver the package. I called UPS. UPS transferred me to the dispatch center. The dispatch center confirmed my understanding that Jason had the package at his "Access Point." They offered to take the package out of the "Access Point" and deliver it the next day, which they did. Jason's lack of courteousness and attitude almost ruined my day. This store needs consequences and accountability. Had Jason bothered to look for this package, none of this would have followed. I told these events to the UPS driver. The UPS driver suggested that I complain and that the "UPS Store" could lose its franchise for failing to turn over packages at its "Access Point." read more

The guy who works here as a notary public is a fool. He immediately refused to witness and notarize a document on the grounds that he had never seen a form like it before and it didn't make sense to him. My attempts to explain the instructions on the form that clearly outlined the witness and notarization procedure fell on deaf ears, as this guy had already made up his mind that he was right and everyone else was wrong, despite not actually taking 60 seconds to read the entirety of the directions. I ended up going to a different notary public in Woburn, who spent a couple minutes reading the instructions and studying the document, and then witnessed and notarized the document no problem, as there was nothing abnormal or out of scope about it. You're a notary public who works at a UPS store, not a Supreme Court Justice interpreting centuries of case law. Try not to overthink it. read more

Well, I went to this location just a few days ago. After getting pricing to mail out an envelope to CA, I had originally gone to the UPS store in Burlington, near Wendys. The price they gave me was over $13 and also told me I HAVE to buy an envelope first. Being the annoying person I am, I questioned why I had to buy an envelope and as far back as I can remember, UPS always gave you an envelope. I was just mailing simple documents. Nothing bulky. On principal alone, I left the store in Burlington, called the Woburn location and asked, do you give free envelopes when mailing documents. They said, yes...so I went on down. The gentleman there was a tall guy, nice and very helpful immediately. I mailed it with him, cost me LESS by $3 or more and the service was professional and with a smile. Something that brings you back. I had come here before shipping lots of boxes when I moved. I will continue to go here for my UPS business. Burlington lady had an attitude as if she could care less I did business with her, no smile, no helpful attitude whatsoever.....blah. So if you want a UPS Store in the Woburn area, then this is your place! I even laminated something and it was only $2.....just fair around the board...I like that. read more

I had a great experience with this UPS store today. Laurie was very helpful as she dealt with my challenging situation. She sent a guy over to pick up my boxes to be shipped to California, then called me back with the weight of the boxes and the amount to be paid. I just made a phone call, and supplied a credit card number. She and her team did all the rest. They even let me change the destination of one box to be sent to another state, with no hassle. I am astonished that a store can have a facility for an appointment, then refuses, WITHOUT SHAME, to cancel it. I recently had the need of a Notary Public. I called the night before to see if they could handle not only my document, but to also fax and email it. "No problemo," they said. I made an appointment with them, thinking to do this in a business-like manner. When I arrived at the store, a man bravely told me that his "boss", the Notary, wouldn't be in for hours. He did, to give him credit, tell me about a Notary at a near-by bank. Fortunately, I was able to get my document notarized (free of charge), and returned to see the man at the UPS store. He was able to fax it and email it to my thumb drive, after a lot of fussing. He said he had only just learned how to work the machine! I offer my kudos to the gentleman who waited on me at the UPS store. A business is only as good as the people who work there. It is the owners, and their lack of care for the customer, who is the focus of my review. A worker must always struggle valiently on in the face of poor training and neglectful supervision. He is on the front line, and he always, always, takes the brunt of the disappointed customer. Again, kudos to the man who waited on me. We've been to the Woburn UPS store a few times & have been very impressed with Jason. He's friendly, polite, helpful, and positive. We had concerns about the security the package when it would be delivered, so he had a suggestion of how to handle it, & we took his recommendation. Unfortunately, the UPS office in the state to which the package was delivered did NOT hold the package at the designated spot (even though we'd paid for that service). However, we simply called Jason & explained the situation. He asked if he could call us back after he had researched the issue. He called back within 30 minutes, having contacted the other office & making arrangements to instead have the package delivered to the recipient's workplace. When I complimented him on his helpfulness, he was humble & responded that he was just doing his job. If only everyone did their jobs like Jason does! read more

I raced to the store and arrived at 6:55 PM to find the door locked. A non-employee shouted at me that they were closed. When I pointed out that it was 5 minutes before closing he came to the door and told me that he was told by the employee to lock the door. I asked him if he would rather have me go to Fed Ex and he said "sure". This is just the last of a long line of complaints with UPS. Had a great experience here. I had 9 documents that needed printing. 1 was over 180 pages another was over 100 pages. Price was fantastic- with the plastic bindings. Quality was excellent. Service was top notch. I am not from here - I am traveling on business. Yelp reviews all over the area for printing were horrible. I got lost on the way - called in a panic. Spoke with Jason who was super patient with me as I had lost my thumb drive - then, couldn't find the docs on my laptop. Had a deadline. In short, I was a wreck. Ended up emailing the docs - Jason got it done. I am relaxing with some wine now. Cons - the parking lot. Not easy to take a left turn to get back on the highway. Not easy to park. Pros - the UPS store has 15 minute customer parking spots right out front. Friendly people. I noticed one reviewer said there was only one person, when I went in there were at least 2, but I think a third was running around the back. Prices are much better than some other known printing stores. read more

I just went to this store to have a package shipped. I entered, and the woman behind the counter told her daughter (maybe 9 years old) to give me a receipt.. I told her I did not need a receipt but I needed to ship a package. Another woman came over to help me, grumbling and very unpleasant. She gave me a quote for pick-up, packing and shipping an item purchased at a local auction, and she then turned around and nearly doubled the charge. I only found out when I opened my credit card statement today. Even though I gave her the exact dimensions and weight, she claimed she was surprised by the weight and size of the item and the amount of packing materials which were needed. What good is a quote if she is not going to honor it? Buyer beware of Laurie Poland! read more

I went to this UPS yesterday afternoon to ship a small package. I only needed a small box for my package. When I went in, there were 2 associates trying to figure out a miscommunicated issue with a customer. I waited for a while and then 2 other customers came in after me. The associate proceeded to help the 2 customers that came in after me. I believe it is poor customer service for me to come in first and leave after the people that came in after. The associate, Laurie, did not acknowledge the time I had to wait or how she attended to the other customers first. read more

You should probably know the person operating this truck was all over the road and driving aggressively. Riding up on the person's bumper in front of him/her and beeping menacingly. He waited on me both times and honestly had a fantastic attitude. I often see people at store such as this and the look like they cant manage anything and are bored. I checked the hours online and they were supposed to be open to 5pm. I got there at 3pm, but there was a sign on the door that they were closed for lunch from 3-3:30. Are you joking? I really needed to get a package out that day and drove 20 minutes to get there, but was in a rush to get back home, so I was mixed about what to do, but ended up waiting. When I came back at 3:30 there were two people behind the counter. They could have easily alternated lunch times, so the shop would actually be open during their advertised hours.
