5-Star Review for I Fix on Wheels - Cambridge, Boston I had an amazing experience at I Fix on Wheels in Cambridge. The owner is one of the most polite and honest people I've met in this business. I went in ready to spend more money changing my iPhone battery, but he actually advised me not to because it wasn't necessary. His honesty truly impressed me. I also took my daughter's laptop for repair, and instead of charging me a huge fee, he gave me a big discount and even told me that buying a new laptop would be cheaper than fixing the old one. That kind of transparency and generosity is rare these days. I really appreciate his kindness, professionalism, and the way he puts customers first. If you're looking for trustworthy and genuine tech repair services in Cambridge or Boston, I Fix on Wheels is the place to go! Highly recommended. read more

great quality of service. owner values his customers 100% looks out. Brought my phone in with a budget and he helped me out

A trusted, skilled, professional, and courteous location for computer and phone repair. Our family have been patrons of this repair shop for several years now. We found them through Yelp, and they were the first to respond to messages. We selected them not just due to promptness, but also for there ability to explain issues. My wife and son have had iPhone batteries replaced for less than our Asurian / Verizon copay. The batteries lasted longer, and the customer experiences were better. We have also had 5 services of Apple laptops. The owner is always good in the estimate and offered details on original versus generic parts. They stand by there work, and when one replaced part failed, the part and service was free. They also repaired an Apple laptop with water damage for us. If the device is not worth fixing, they will tell you. We have also used the mobile service. The staff member was polite and the work was up to their usual standards. Note this location is 23 miles from our home, and we feel a business that is trustworthy is worth the trip. If you need a phone or laptop repaired consider iFixOnWheelz. We will definitely return. read more

I had a tech named Plato that was able to squeeze me in on a Sunday evening which was great since they were pretty flexible. The main draw is the fact that they can come to your location to perform repairs which was very convenient for me. I needed a faulty Nexus 6p battery replaced and had a battery I bought off of ebay to try and lower the overall cost of the service ($20 cheaper). When I met with Plato he was honest and told me that the battery I bought (which I paid $10 for) was no good and that it would only be a matter of months before the battery started to fail on me. He pointed out and explained the reasoning behind the failure and was professional about it. I appreciated the honesty and he said he would order the correct battery and reschedule our appointment. Less than a week later we met up and I could see the differences in the battery he had and the one I had bought. He had the whole process done in less than 20 minutes which was awesome! He mentioned a 1 year warranty in case the battery was faulty which shows that they stand by their work. Overall I was impressed with their professionalism, convenience and honesty (especially for an older generation phone). I would highly recommend them! read more

Terrible service and expensive. The screen broke (unsealed) on the second day. They did not seal it properly. If I would have known, I would have paid the extra $50 to get a refurb from apple. I asked for some sort of refund and they basically told me to bad. $255 down the drain.... what ever :-( I went to apple and got a beautiful refurb for $305 in 3 days. read more

My toddler cracked his iPad screen and almost cut himself. I emailed late on Sunday night, and the next morning Palto texted and said he could be at my house right away. Anyone with kids knows how valuable that ipad is. He was able to fix the screen from his car in about 30 minutes. When we looked at the apple store, they were going to have to send it out, which is a no go. I fix on wheelz charged about $200, which sounds expensive but worth the cost for the convenience. He was also able to take credit card. The whole thing was very easy! read more

Thank you! The work was gone quickly, with great quality and the price was very reasonable. iPhone11, he replaced the screen and moved the Face ID components. The phone is working great! read more

I found Ali and Plato through Yelp and had an excellent experience with my repairs! It only took 20 mins to replace my glass and get the phone working again! I love how easy it was and how nice they were. I will send friends to them for future repairs and wish them a long life in the business. I do hope to see them again, but not because of a busted phone *lol Perhaps I can deliver coffee when in the neighborhood sometime soon. Thanks Guys!!! You ROCK. Oh - and the repair ended up costing less than expected so I chipped in to pay one of their parking tickets - it is the least I could do as I do not get tickets, so I can pay other people's *LOL read more

this guy installed a demaged screen to my iPhone 13 so I went to return it, he stared argument and got rude, made me wait for 2 hours to got my phone back + keeping 100$ from the payment. Relly bad experience and worse customer service. read more

These guys are fabulous! Easy to use and got the job done. Can't recommend enough. After dealing with Apple idiots, I turned to these guys for a glitch caused by Apple systems that rendered the phone useless (Apple idiots insisted on a new $1000 phone). These guys fixed the basically new phone for quarter the price. Wish I didn't love Apple products because I'm sick and tired of being screwed by them consistently. If you're tired too, get your Apple products serviced here. read more

My son broke his IPad charging port, sent a message to these guys on thanksgiving, within moments someone responded and made an appointment 1 day later, came right to the house and fixed it perfectly. Tech was courteous and got the job done in his car right outside the house at a great price, in about an hour. Unlike the rest of 2020, this adventure was rock solid!! I highly recommend! read more

Stopped in as my phone wasn't charging. I spoke with the technician who took the phone and immediately began adjusting, cleaning, and testing the charging port. Within 3 mins he had it perfect and despite me offer wouldn't take any payment. I'll be back for sure. Highly recommended read more

Great guy,(I forget his name) I was told by a few other tech guys that it would cost me $700 to fix my iMac & one other guy said it's not worth fixing & that he would sell me a similar updated version one for $1399. This guy did it for $150 plus another $99 for another part that was needed to make it run faster & save all my data! Well worth it. Plus he installed a battery for my wife iPhone 6s for $60 & it was done in 15 minutes! Call here & then call the other guys who claim they are fair & good & you'll end up with this place. I'm sorry for forgetting his name cuz he was a nice guy & didn't try to upsell or lie about needing other expensive parts! Go there & save your time, money & aggravation of the sketchy hustlers that know your not knowledgeable about the tech talk & hustle you $100's of dollars. read more

I had an issue with my iPhone (speaker issue) and found this place via Yelp. They were the lowest price vs multiple other quotes and repaired it quickly ~30 minutes. Would recommend! read more

I stopped by earlier today to change the battery on my IPhone SE. They were able to change the battery in less than 15 minutes and for a very reasonable price. Not only was Alex on time he was 1/2 hour early and waited until the time of the appointment to call me to let me now that he had arrived at my place. Know one these days is that courteous incredible. Alex took my broken phone said it will take 20 minutes. so I waited Good Lord Boom, he fixed my phone very quickly 15 - 20 minutes just like he said. He told me there is also a 6 month warranty on the work. would absolutely highly recommend this service to anyone. this service is especially good for people who are in wheelchairs like my self and for those who can not drive. Their website is very easy to navigate and very easy to book your repair service online and Pay online. The Prices are very reasonable either on average or below. They come to you, and you don't have to wait days for your device to be fixed. Awesome. Alex is the Man. I wish him much Success. read more

What an easy and stress free process. The team was in touch with me immediately and was out to fix my phone the same day. The fact that they use all factory parts it's so rare and going to make trading the phone in or selling a much smoother process. Thank you again for the speedy service and great repair! read more

Holy f! I cannot believe that there's a company that would come to my home and fix my phone for such a reasonable prices. I spent the better part of this morning chatting with Fix-It places all over Boston and they all wanted over $100 to fix my phone. They would replace the screen or give me a temporary screen Etc but it was all at least $150 and it was going to take a week for them to order the parts in before they could even start the repair. I used Yelp to send messages to a bunch of stores at the same time and IfixonWheelz replied to me within an hour with a lesser amount quote and they would come to me same day! Alex was my technician and he was friendly courteous considerate and fast! All said and done I have all of my data from my old broken lgg6 for the bargain price of $50. Thank you IfixonWheelz thank you Alex! read more

Professional and fast. Fixed my cracked screen in minutes.

Had a great experience. Great communication in getting the appointment set up. Once I got there, Plato was clear on the process and very personable. I believe I had a more complicated repair for my pixel 1 and it still only took 30 min for the repair. Also worth noting that I sent out a call for quotes on Yelp and this place was the by far the cheapest quote to get back to me. So it's a good value play as well. read more

They were very polite on the phone unlike others who were rude and super unprofessional. They showed up at the house and replace my laptop screen and the timing was incredible. About 15 minutes or less to be honest. It was so fast I couldn't believe it. He gave me other options to get my computer to be faster since it's slow. However it was great service, and fast. He literally fixed it in the car. Social distance for the most part.I was cleaning my car outside while he fixed it. The service was great. They were very responsive through Yelp. Lol these one star reviews are probably trolls. There is always going to be one or two negative reviews. Lmbo read more

I dropped my phone on a Friday evening, destroying the screen. I tried calling several phone repair shops, none of which were open. Then I found iFixOnWheelz. I called their shop and they said they were closed but could send someone out to repair my phone with their mobile repair kit. The repair guy called and was able to come over within 30 minutes of me contacting them. He was able to quickly replace my phone screen in less than 15 minutes! The repair guy ensured all of my phones screen options were working correctly before he left. The replacement screen quality is just as good as the original screen. They are absolutely great! If you find yourself with a broken phone, you should call them! The repair guy was very friendly and their prices were very reasonable for a mobile repair on a Friday night. It saved me from having to just buy a new phone that night! read more

I found guys thru yelp and requested a quote. They responded fast and were cheaper than other competitors to fix my charging port issue on a Samsung tablet. This morning I dropped my iPhone on the ground and the screen shattered. I remembered seeing a local business on Cambridge St in East Cambridge that repairs screens so I went online, booked an appointment and someone came to my house about an hour and a half later on a Sunday morning. Great service and great customer service highly recommended. Randomly found this place on a Google search for iPhone screen fix near me and this was conveniently walking distance from where I was at. These people are great! My Pixel phone battery was dying, but then suddenly the phone wouldn't run at all, even plugged in, so took it to iFixOnWheelz. Because it was an older phone they had to order the battery, so in the meantime they gave me a free loaner. When the battery came in and they took a closer look at the phone they decided it was probably a logic board problem and that the phone was not repairable. When I went in to return the loaner and pick up my broken phone the very nice young woman (I don't recall her name) said they would refund the charge on my card! I said no, you should charge me -- you ordered the battery, you diagnosed the problem and you gave me a loaner. But she insisted on giving me a full refund. Obviously they have a lot of satisfied customers, but what higher recommendation can you give a business than they insisted on refunding a customer's money? I wish every business was as competent and honest as IFixOnWheelz. read more

So impressed with this service! I had a crack on my iPhone screen but was quoted $150 from the Apple store and didn't know when I'd have time to drop it off at one of the other fix-it retailers. Speedy services and very reasonable price. Best Buy and Micro Center asked met to drop off my laptop for 3 days at least and $50-$100 just to diagnose the problem (USB connection). iFixOnWheelz fixed it for this amount over lunch time and weekend (had to order parts from the manufacturer). I found iFixOnWheelz on Thumbtack after a quick search online to fix a cracked screen on a Surface Pro 6. I knew it was going to be pricey but also knew it was a job I couldn't do myself. They did a great job fixing a cracked laptop screen. Took him like 20 minutes. Great service, reasonable prices.

Awesome service, very friendly, quick and efficient fixes. I was in a pickle with my Iphone Xs Max and they fixed it in no time.

I feel so fortunate to have found them by just Googling for cell phone repair companies when my phone powered out yesterday & then wouldn't charge. I checked them out by looking at all these great reviews here; then contacted them last night after 11:30. I was stunned to get a reply in less than 10 minutes. I was pretty sure I needed a battery replacement for a really old phone, so they asked for my model number. I replied with the info and got a reply back first thing this am to set up an appointment for today. They had told me they had the battery & quoted the price which I thought was a mistake, because they were only charging me for the new battery. They don't charge for service or by the hour and they arrive at your door, but stay outside masked & diistanced to do the work. Plato who was my technician told me since the pandemic, they've been doing this. There is no other place I know of who offers this type of service, comes to you & safely does all the repair outside in his van. Plato was professional, polite, pleasant & completed the work in under a half hour. He answered any & all questions I had including discussing whether or not an old model phone was a much higher security risk. I highly recommend them & would call back again without hesitation if I have any other problems in the future with this old phone or a newer ore if I I buy it. This seemed too good to be true, but it was the most stress free experience I've ever had in this kind of situation in the past. One more thing. What a relief to not have to go to the Apple Store & go through what I have before going from waiting in one space to the same in another taking a whole afternoon or more if you're even lucky enough to get an appointment on that day. read more
