This was my very first time at Staples, and let me tell you, it was surprisingly delightful! I popped in because I needed to print some papers and not just regular ones, but some large-format ones and it was just a breeze. The store is right off the street in a shopping center, so I didn't even have to hunt for parking. When I walked in, I was greeted by this super-friendly staff member who basically became my printing fairy godmother. She walked me through all the options, and get this, she added a coupon I didn't even know existed. Honestly, I felt like a printing ninja after that little discount surprise. My wallet and I are best friends now. While I was waiting for my prints, I took a stroll through the aisles and wow, I was like a kid in an office supply candy store. They had tons of furniture on sale, especially chairs. They were on discounts and I thought I was dreaming. I mean, who knew Staples was the hidden gem for office chairs? Next time, I'm totally coming back for one. And just when I thought it couldn't get better, I stumbled upon a Party City section! I was shocked. they picked up some of the Party City supplies after the store closed down. Balloons, party favors , you name it. Went in for an Amazon drop off, the workers were really nice. The lady ahead of me was holding up the line asking questions so another employee open up another register to help me. I went to buy construction paper after and there wasn't a huge variety but there was some available. If you're looking for something for a big project I'd suggest going to Michael's, staples will have basic essentials. Also, I didn't know this one has a mini on-site party city. Since party city closed down I suppose they're at staples now. It's pretty convenient. When I checked out for the paper a lines formed and the cashier called for back up and opened another register to help. They are very perceptive of their lines at the registers. read more

Staples is usually one of the options that offer free Amazon Returns drop off service. What I love about it is that I don't have to package the return. I just bring in the merchandises as they are. Staples take care of the rest. Thank you so much Staples for this great service! Anyway, I was in the Glendora area one evening. This Staples happens to be in the Glendora Marketplace Shopping Center on Gladstone Street and Shellman Ave. Perfect! I walked in, saw the sign for Amazon Returns right upon entry, and turned left to Customer Service desk. Fantastic! I didn't have to walk too far inside. The gentleman behind the desk was pleasant and helpful. It took no more than 5 mins for him to scan the return and print out a receipt. Thank you young man. Amazon returns made easy by Staples! Ran out of white out one week so needed them badly. Decided to shop here since I've been visiting the neighborhood Barnes & Noble bookstore for quite awhile. I was pleasantly surprised to find decent sales on the ones I bought. They were sold a few in a pack under $10, 'Made In Japan,' too. Can't wait to use them. If I could give them a -0 I would. Let's start off with horrible customer service and also if you would need something to print immediately that's not your store. Try Office Depot or any other printing company. If you call they will place you on a call for 30+ minutes and answer with an attitude. With this economy you would think that all these stores would be more efficient and more customer focused than ever. All staples need to be trained on customer service we went into the Glendora location and called Downey and Monterey Park locations where we were placed on long hold! Which was ridiculous. Like stated if you want anything printed and given to you in minutes go to "Office Depot!" in West Covina. Staples you've lost several customers and their families....gone! Do better. The tall dude with the long hair in the print and marketing department needs an attitude check. I go in every time to this store print out theme park tickets and for some reason the self service printers don't print out tickets with bar codes on them so I have to go to the front service. As a former staples employee i get it can get busy and that's why i try to go to self service first but staples self service printers don't like to print out my requested documents. The dude helping me gave me sarcastic attitude and talked down to me and on top of that did not ask if i wanted to documents in black and white or color so i got charged $5 for 5 pieces of paper with the tiniest amount of color. Okay, I ordered a colored copy for my boyfriends gift, (a picture of our beach front hotel) and me being name, I did it very last minute. It said to pick up the next day, although I didn't realize that until I got there (oops) the man who helped me, asked my name and said it was no problem at all. It was about 7:30 pm and the place was pretty packed, so I really appreciate him not minding when i showed up. I told him I did an online order, and that I was there to pick it up. He looked up my name and said it was for tomorrow, but it's totally fine he can do it right now. Bless his heart lol I got my copy, put it in my boyfriends gift for today, and all is well in the world! I've been to a few staples that are just..well not nice, and I appreciate this one that is! The people who work in the photo department all look miserable and lack customer service. Usually my go to spot when I need to print something and today idk what's up with these employees! I went in asking if they could input the code for my one photo that I wanted on glossy paper and after 15mins of waiting for 1 out of the 3 ppl sitting there to assist me one of them comes and says, "we're too busy and won't be ready until tomorrow ." I'm not asking for anything extra special other than inputting my code and pressing print on a gloss paper that's it. I even wanted to buy the gloss paper and do it myself on the self service printers but apparently they don't offer that. You would need to bring your own paper when it's the same as paying them to do it. Coming from someone who works customer service in a high volume environment, Please do better! read more

Don't go to this location for Amazon returns. I came in on a Wednesday evening around 6:45. As I approach, the lady working the desk complains I came in right before her lunch. She then proceeds to throw my package into an envelope and slams it under the counter. Jesus lady, I just came to return an Amazon order, I didn't come purposely to delay your lunch at 6:45 another two minutes. As I watch her mixed with amusement and pity, she throws the receipt down and turns around without muttering a word. A couple behind me next approaches to process their return and she slams the counter down and yells that they're closed. The atmosphere was so tense and awkward. Unless you want someone who desperately needs a snack and some therapy to unload on you, avoid this location. read more

He is always so kind and has helped me out multiple times when I would be on a time crunch. The store itself is actually decent. It's clean and never that busy. The problem is the Copy & Print department. It is the worst one out of any Staples in the county. Any online order takes the longest here out of any other location. Every other single Staples order completes the order when they can. Here they seem to let the clock wind down just for the sake of it. Then they give you an attitude when you go into the store. I came to print a color picture of my dog.. max whom I recently lost. I asked her a question because I was having trouble with the print size. She barely looked at me, responded back (rudely in my opinion) and said that my pictures too big and doesn't know how to do it from a phone (Look I get it! If you don't know, you don't know that's cool) here's a little customer service advice for her...give eye contact, some acknowledgment, maybe a smile and apologize for not being familiar on the how to! Walk in on a super rainy evening to print some UPS labels. The print process was really easy. I emailed them and used the code. When I hit print preview I noticed the label was small. I asked Melissa at the print area counter for help. She explained to me I couldn't make any size adjustments on the printer machine and it would have to be done on a computer. She looked like she was in the middle of something, but she asked me to send her the code so she can help me. I had 5 sheets that needed to be resized. She pulled them up, asked me to review, and printed them out. Put them in a bag and added a plastic bag over it so they didn't get wet in the rain. It was perfect! Melissa was professional, helpful, efficient, and did not make me feel like I was a trouble at all. I usually come to Staples for all my printing needs concert the self service is so inexpensive and easy. You can email your file or being in a USB. I came in today and had a tough time printing due to the file type but Isabelle helped me at the printing center and she figured it out for me. She was so helpful and friendly and had my printout ready in seconds. As a work-from-home employee this service is so necessary and reliable that I consider it my office away from home. read more

Yeah so this staples is always sub standard in my opinion. Come To use a paper cutter for a bunch of stuff and i get a HS paper cutter. Which enables me to cut one page at a time. Very frustrating for a place that strives to be the best in duplicating and office type stuff. When i asked for a paper cutter this is what i was given a broken piece of cheap plastic that i have to have a pair of scissors near I care the little mini blade doesn't cut all the way through.. seriously lame. My school has a way better cutter with a safety on it. I'm not gonna waste my time cutting this book I'm trying to make and i doubt I'll come here to even make the book! Yikes. The store itself is a large location. Everything looked clean and the isles for the most part looked organized. I've been here once a few years back and couldn't remember the name of the associate that helped me out. I do remember she was extremely helpful and kind. This time around the print and copy area was super busy. There was a younger man that was doing his best to be accommodable in helping everyone in line. He even explained that this was not his department and was helping out because no one from that department would be in until 1:30pm. Not his fault but I waited in line, then he recommended I use the self-service which I attempted to do, not knowing how their system worked it was not a good experience. I asked a different associate for help, the paper just ended up getting jammed on the printer that was available then she charged my card more than I wanted. At that time others were upset especially an older woman that was waiting for some business paperwork to be printed and was giving the guy a hard time. I was then annoyed because I had to get back in a long line and wait over 30 minutes all over again for help. A manager came over by the name of "DENISE" she was very rude to everyone and then I had the opportunity to explain what happened as well as addressing others in line. Her answers were short and extremely rude, even to the point where she raised her voice. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional! All of this just to print two pieces of paper. I wouldn't go back simply because of her; I was not the only one upset at her disposition of being out right nasty! read more

I would've given it less stars if it wasn't for the check out ladies at the registers. I don't know what her name was, but she had long blue fingernails... i had bought a Groupon for a poster that had an amazing deal purchase your poster for half off.. says clearly So when I went to go get my posters made..she had uploaded them and was ready to charge me. She had told me that I still needed to pay on top of what i had paid for Groupon. I explained to her i shouldn't have to pay because it is as advertised half off for one poster. She then went on and on that Groupon sometimes does these things and I would have to call them to see what's going on cause it wasn't ringing on her end. Shocked i wasn't about to call Groupon when it clearly states what i should receive.She goes on and on acting as if she knows what to do and how Groupon works. So when i basically totaled everything up my Groupon plus the amount she was charging. It was basically paying for the whole dang poster full price!!! Are you kidding me? Why in the world would i do that..obviously in my head she didn't know what she was talking about. I wasn't about to pay full price for it. So i asked to see a manager. Thank goodness another employee came to see what was going on because the manager alone was taking a long time to get to the register. So finally we got down to the bottom of it and basically she had rung the Groupon purchase wrong! She didn't even apologize for wasting my time acting as if she knows it all about the Groupon i had purchased! Please take into account that some of your employees need more training and apparently manners. Went here to get some prints done. Although the staff was busy, they were very helpful and answering customers questions very professionally. I would like to highlight Claudia ( I hope i am spelling her name correctly). She helped me understand the printing process and which papers would look best for my prints. And she always properly sized the prints I needed. She was very sweet and always made sure to confirm before printing. At the end she confirmed everything to ring me up and help me with a coupon since i made it over $40 purchase. She also put all my prints in a bag so they would be protected after being freshly printed. Lovely staff that worked well together. Explains their services and sizes.
