Unfortunately after years of using this location, the owner according this what the rude lady that was at the counter told me. All I ask since we were the only 2 people in the, so it not as she was super busy with customers. If she could please wait to finish her non emergency personal call after she finished attending to me. Her response i am helping you. I need to acknowledge you to scan your item. As she said had i been the one on the phone while she was helping me, she also would consider it as rude but she wouldn't ask me to get off my call. I said I believe it works both ways as her customers I show respect and appreciate the service of the employees and just asked to be treated the same way. I told her I wouldn't use this location anymore. Her response was whatever! I told i was asked many years ago to please bring my package to this location because it helps the business make money. I've been coming to this UPS store for a couple of years now and always had a great experience--usually the staff are super friendly, welcoming, and helpful. They greet you with a smile and make you feel comfortable the moment you walk in. But today was different. I went in with my mom to return a package, and there were two girls working there that I've never seen before. Right away, their energy was off--they didn't greet us or show any of the usual warmth. My mom, who's older and loves to talk, was trying to tell a little story while shipping her item, and instead of listening politely, one of the girls cut her off with attitude and said, "So do you just want to ship this out then?" It felt very rude and dismissive. Then, when I asked the other girl (with curly hair) a simple question about pricing, she responded with even more attitude--saying something like, "Well I don't know what's in there, that's not mine," in a very unhelpful tone. There was no customer service voice, no smiles, no effort to be kind or professional. I don't know what was going on today, but it was really disappointing--especially when we're used to such kind, respectful people at this location. They lady was here I guess by herself and she had like 5 people in there and she was helping all of them and they were all needing things that were going to take time but instead of asking me what I needed she pretended like I wasn't even there. All I needed was to print a prepaid label out from my QR code and give them my box. I tried the self service option but it wasn't working I guess cuz it told me to go to the counter- which again is stupid- all it had to do was print the label but it wasn't working of course. So I have to wait for pictures to be taken, documents to be emailed from a 3rd party so some can return something and again all I wanna do is print the prepaid label from my QR code that says no label needed! Well, I don't know where to begin with the praise I have for two darling and detail oriented young women that work at the ups store on Grand Ave in Covina. First off Miranda and Tahis always greet me with a welcoming smile, even when they are busy helping others and the line is 10 ppl deep. They exceed my expectations in their ability to swiftly help each customer and still have the patience to kindly assist an old lady like me with my mega returns! They are both beyond pleasant and don't realize how much thier demeanor can brighten my crazy errand filled days. If you want service with a sincere smile, I suggest you visit the ups store on Grand Ave in Covina because they have two of the sweetest girlie pops working there. I went here to get a live scan done by Melissa for a child care business. She was unable to process the live scan correctly even though these employees get specific training and get " certified". They tried to say that the information written on the form was incorrect however, I have a photocopy of the live scan as proof. This UPS over charged me for this live scan on top of their incompetencies blaming it on " government" fee. I have been dealing with them since March. So sad it was unable to get resolved. I will be sure to contact UPS & DOJ as well. read more

This store was very easy to drop off my package with prepaid UPS label. They scanned it and provided receipt. I've gone to other stores where they have you drop off your package at the door but no receipt. Them scanning in your package takes a little more time but worth it. Also, it's located in a big shopping center so plenty of parking. Although, I did see customers fighting over front row parking. I'll keep using this location. read more

I'm very dissatisfied with this store. They continue to want to charge to tape up packages. I have called 2 other UPS stores in the area and none of them charge to tape up packages. I seriously doubt taping up customer packages for free will drive down how much you make and make you close your doors. I WOULD NOT ISE THIS STORE! This location literally 5 min away from my office building so I stopped by here a lot to do Amazon returns. Today I dropped off one Amazon return, and another small box that apparently had to be brought to post office. I already had label printed and attached, i needed a little tape to secure one of the label end that the tape looked a little bit loose. And they charged for that. For a little tape. They charged. Mmmmh maybe era had been changed and I found that was absurd especially Dollar Tree literally just next door. Other than that, last time I dropped Amazon return (last week) they said the label didnt work and I had to contact customer service. And i tried multiple times (cancel return, request another return) when I was there She also mentioned "it looks like the item had been returned." I am so confused with that statement. I shop at Amazon a lot almost in daily basis. And i did a lot of returns, never a problem other than that time.. Finally I moved aside and the next two customers also had the same "label didnt work" for Amazon return. Then I heard the staff said "Amazon had been down since this morning." I don't understand why she didnt tell me before, instead waiting for another customers to have the same problem and putting it as if it was the customer fault. The worst service ever! Talk about a joke when thinking of customer service. My mom mailed a return for me and didn't know she needed to tape the box. Sounds crazy, but she's 72 and wasn't sure if it was specific tape. The lady was so rude and made her feel dumb and then charged her $2 to tape the box. Second Complaint but this time it was even worse. Ups called me about a week ago and told me to come pick up the check that had to get reissued to me. It was bad enough that the original check got stolen out of my car due to a break in, and they charged me a $35 stop payment fee for it. Fast forward I go into the store around 10:10-10:15am and there is about 2 people in front of me. The exact same woman from last time was at the counter. She helps the two customers in front of me and now it's my turn. I tell her I'm there to pick up a check, and she asks me what my name is. I tell her my name, and she slowly tries to locate my check. She mentions she's seen it, but she cannot find my check and she has to contact her manager. There's a line of 4 people behind me, and she doesn't say hold on can I finish the line or anything. She just rudely continues to help out people and I move to the side. So she gets through the line and I'm still waiting. She walks to the back, and then up to the front, and then again to the back. Now at this point I'm starting to get really impatient. I finally ask her hey, do you have any update on what's going on? She peaks her head from behind the back of the store and rudely says to me " I've already told you that I'm trying to locate your check and call another store ". And I'm like why are you getting an attitude? She tells me " I'm not getting an attitude you already have another video". And that was when I took my phone out and started recording her. She stays in the back of the store, and never comes to the front while i'm asking where is my check? She then says the manager will contact you. I ask when did the manager tell you that? Now at this point I'm extremely upset. She then tells me that I need to leave! I told her " LEAVE FOR WHAT "? You guys have a check of mine and now I have to leave? So I tell her I cannot believe she still has a job, the amount of disrespect. Your JOB is CUSTOMER SERVICE! She then CALLS THE COPS ON ME! She discriminated against me and I will be getting an attorney. Do NOT SHOP HERE! I have a 4 minute video of everything on camera. I repeat DO NOT SHOP HERE! By the WAY , I still didn't get my check. Box holders can receive Amazon packages here or Amazon lockers at 7- 11 in the same center.. they notify you when you get mail or packages... You get a key to get in and get your mail when they are closed... Pricey but worth it. read more

Worst customer service I've ever received from a UPS store! They were extremely rude! I went in to pick up a package, a couple was walking out as I got there so I went right in. The people working there immediately said they are closed before I could even ask anything. They responded they close at 7 which is why the door was locked. It was literally 7pm! After waiting quite a long time, the attendant finally came out from behind the wall...with an attitude. She never looked up at me! My small 8 " box wasn't taped at the top. Normally when I return Amazon products I am not required to complete package the item. In this case, the attendant stated that I was. The item was securely repacked in its original box. I missed a piece of tape on the top. I was charged a dollar for 1 eight-inch piece of tape. Sorry to see that Customer Service is gone. Or at least not at the UPS Store! read more

I went into this UPS store to return a large item to Amazon. A young female helps me but is very irate because I didn't have a return sticker,it's as tho she thinks everyone should know her job. I never needed a return sticker before, and she could have been more helpful, I felt harassed. I don't know what kind of people UPS is hiring, but in any other business, this shit wouldn't fly. If you don't like your job, go into something else don't take it out on the public. Don't go here unless you want to deal with a malcontent that likes being rude to people. read more

This store used to be my "Go-To" store for all things shipping, UPS and USPS. As a home business I rely heavily on shipping & postage services. But there is a gal in this store (Maria) who is not only rude and unkind she lies about their services, to reflect her whim of the day. I have in the past purchased UPS & USPS services from this store and dropped off USPS mail to this store. In fact only a week ago I went in and purchased a USPS certified return receipt shipping service from them. But today I am told by Maria that they do not take drop offs any longer and do not process USPS mail. I went on the website and saw they, in fact, advertise they offer this service. Depends on who is at the counter, I guess, for which services they will or will not offer. This store will no longer be getting my UPS or my USPS shipping business. read more

Amazon gives the option to use this store to pack and ship and label a return from amazon for Free Every time I go and show the code I'm paying for my own box or having to go back to the car or home to get a box to avoid paying. I don't understand how this is an acceptable practice when it's clear that this store is suppose to offer it for free. Now I don't think I'd come back here again. I'll try another one just to see if it's common practice at each designated location with amazon and ups store.
