Worst experience ever! I was the only one there and three employees were standing around and somehow none of them could give me proper instructions! I stood there for 25 minutes and asked 4 different employees for help, and i didn't even get to ship my package out because no one helped me figure out the complicated printer. They just said "oh printer is around the corner". I'm not sure why UPS is wasting their time at Staples because none of those employees know anything about shipping protocol. Staples is the most convenient located stationary and superstore. I've been shopping there for several years and I must say the service has gotten better and better. The manager and associates are warm and friendly and do not hesitate to offer special deals. My favorite sales people Are Jose and Ben. Its poorly managed and the people there're just overall rude. I had to print out a project and the people at the copy center wanted to charge me $1.50 per. page, even though it was just plain white paper. Additionally, they wanted to charge me for cutting one paper in half. The ladies at the copy center were complaining about everything. I went to this location this past Sunday after getting a last minute invite to a job interview Monday morning. This opportunity was really important to me so I wanted to bring my A game and went to the Print Shop to have my resume, cover letter, commendations etc... bound for a more professional look. In my own bubble, I went in Sunday afternoon thinking I could get my job done in an hour however I was wrong and there was a long que. Arpi the young woman who was awaiting me must have seen the panic flash across my face as I explained that I have a job interview the next morning. She quickly put me at ease, making my emergency her priority. She pushed my job to the front of the que and delivered a beautiful product in less than an hour. Arpi really exceeded my expectations, she was kind and reassuring even wishing me good luck on my interview. Her positive energy and professionalism is am asset to the company and I wish her much success. If you have a print shop need go see Arpi and fill out the survey on your receipt! Ive tried using these guys to remove some 'malware virus' stuff and do a PC Tune Up. The end result 3 hours and $300 later was a more corrupted PC than when I brought it in there. They claimed to have fixed the issues but the pc would crash and sometimes not boot up. I consulted a company about this issue, secure remote support, and found out the root cause of the problem, which was "Easy Tech's" inexperienced 'technicians,' who didn't do the removal or repair correctly. It cost me $104.99 to get it fixed and repaired correctly. And I had a way faster running machine once it was complete. Id stay away from these guys and best buy geek squad if possible and consult the technicians (that are real) at secureremotesupport.com or atleast a local repair company. I have teenage twin boys who like the internet a bit too much. They MySpace, and Face book the hell out of their laptops. They shoot aliens and war craft like medieval mad men. They are perpetually plugged into these machines so much that I would swear the iPod appendage they have grown actually seems normal. So it was bound to happen that they would eventually need their notebooks cleaned up and swept for virus'. We took our computer into easy Tech and $199 later they told us it would be an hour and they would call us or message us on the screen when they were done. About 6 hours later one of the boys alerts me that he needs his computer for a paper he has to write. I call the EasyTech store and the 'tech' and inquire about the computer when I am told that they have been extra-ordinarily busy and that it would another day or two. I asked for a specific amount of time and was told that he couldn't give me and exact figure. So we waited another 2 days and I call again. Still there is no progress so we went into the store and asked for the computer bad as well as a refund on the cost of the repair. When we get home I look up some alternatives to the "EasyTech". I found Secure Remote Support [dot] com and I actually didn't have to take the computers anywhere. I just visited their website and selected a button on their website and gave them permission to connect to the laptops over the internet. And away the computers went. It was like there was a virtual technician in our home working on it without having to have a stranger in our home. Within 1 actual hour the computers were cleaned up, and sped up. Their service was fast, friendly and efficient. It was everything my EasyTech Staples experience was not. Thanks Easy Tech for wasting my time. Worst customer service in any store I've ever been in. Went in today to buy a measuring tape, walked around for 5 minutes trying to find the section. Tracked down one female employee to ask, she grunts and points me to the section with staplers and walked off. I then ask a male employee, he says "Aisle 4, they should be there" then walked off. Never found the measuring tape I was after and walked out. What a waste of time. read more

I asked him for a simple price match for a $7 difference which is in the staples policies to 100% price match and she couldn't help me. Great mis-pectations..went in advance to the tech department to discuss with "C" the transfer of my company data from our 2 CPU's running XP to new CPU's with Windows 7. Asked what to expect, how long it took, what they needed...called "C" again about a week later when computers had come in...answer was "bring them in on Friday, will do our best to have them ready on Sunday or early Monday". All accommodating and efficient then.... Well now...I am STILL waiting, it is 6:00 p.m. on Monday...no call from "C" over the weekend who also did not tell me they needed ALL my log-ins, serial numbers, ETC of all programs running...had to get this all in a rush over the weekend to them and find on Monday they didn't even start my transfers till today after I came in the morning raising my dismay. How am I supposed to know all the data they need unless someone tells me! VERY disappointed in poor communication and excuses. Oh, "it's back to school" time? Would seriously not do this again with Staples. Sent my employees home...no computers no VOIP phones, nada. Big wasted day. Big headache. Afraid to delete hard drives of the other computers until we see if everything was transferred as requested. read more

I always get copies printed over at the copy center and the workers there such as Lidia, Joseph, Jennifer, etc. are always so friendly and helpful. I am not what you consider a "computer savy" person. I can turn it on, send and receive email, and purchase school books. About a month ago I received a call from my bank asking about some questionable purchases. I stated, "No those were not in fact NOT my purchases" and was promptly sent a new card. Concerned I traced back my spending and suspected an online purchase was the source. My roommate then suggested that my pc might be infected. UGH! With limited experience I was weary of some of the advertised computer repair services. So I called the closest place to me and my school, Tech Depot at Office Depot and made my appointment to bring it in. Roughly $250 dollars, and 4 days later, the technician at Tech Depot finished his service and called me to come pick it up. 2 days later I get another call from my bank asking about another $900 charge for on my new card. Again I said, "No". By this time I frustrated and concerned about my rent check bouncing. I called Tech Depot to alert them to the recurring issue that they failed to correct. Upon calling I was rudely told I must have done something to reinfect my machine. I am 100% that it is still the same intrusion as I only use this for school, purchasing text books, and the occasional netflix dvd.. The representative was also unwilling to even consider that they didn't fix it properly and I was promptly told they could not help me any further. So I was left with a computer that is sharing my personal financial information with the world. I started searching the web for an alternative when I found, Secure Remote Support, which offered to fix my issues for less than half the cost of Tech Depot. Wow! I wish I would have known that before I just gave away $250. And being a college student and being on a budget, I opted for the $79.99 virus removal service. After remotely connecting to my net book (I didn't even know that was possible), Joe hopped in the driver seat and in 1.5 hours my computer was operating flawlessly again. The malicious program was identified and removed and I was given the "No Fix No Pay" Guarantee. Wow, this is a REALLY BAD Staples. I have called them three times in a row with no one ever answering! I literally was on the phone listening to it ringing for over ten minutes the other day. And today, they picked it up and hung up! I work from home so need to buy lots of office supplies and because they are so insanely incompetent, they will not be making the hundreds of dollars from me that I was planning on spending. The customer service here is exemplary. Its rare you find good customer service these days, sad but true. I bought at Epson Expressions printer here which is apparently the worst printer known to man. After 4 weeks of use it started eating the paper. I called Staples to ask them about the protection plan I purchased to protect my investment. I was fortunate enough to speak to Vera who helped me every step of the way. She even text me a copy of my receipt since I lost mine. She also advised me to bring it in to see if they could fix it which I did! Again, I was assisted by an outstanding man by the name of Gevo. He was extremely helpful, kind and patient! After testing the printer a few times I walked away with a brand new printer and so far, so good!
