I love coming here to print my custom stickers. I bring my own sticker paper that I buy from walmart or amazon and use their quick printing service. The staff is so helpful, they either print it themselves if they don't have a long queue to get through or they guide you how to print it yourself via the available printers. The colors are vibrant and printing is around 80cents per sheet. read more

Went to get one of my boards laminated. Don't usually come to this particular staples BUT it was closer to the location I was at (my home staples in the Atlantic one) went straight to the print station. One of the employees was trying to charge me $21.00 for a lamination job I know for a facts is always $14.00 or less. She was trying to charge me lamination and mounting, never have I been charged for mounting. Fortunately the supervisor came explained to the young lady and took over the transaction, the correct total was $6.60. They didn't have same day service available (no one was available to laminate) so I my item was not available til the next day after 12pm. They sent text updates; really convenient. Absolute garbage service, I've come twice and both time employees are rude and dismissive. First time I waited in the check out lane for 15 minutes while the older caucasian lady starred at me not saying anything but clearly hearing me confused since there was another line. She ignored me and eventually when the other line died she continued to ignore me. I walked over to the other line and she rudely told me I cant purchase that its the Amazon line. I was frustrated to say the least you see me in the check out lane ignore me and not say anything a simple "ill be with you in a second" would have been enough. I walked out didn't buy anything and she got mad and said "you made me walk all the way over here and now your leaving?" Lady you made me wait 15 minutes to ignore me and give me attitude. I came in today for an Amazon drop off now that I know there is one and the young man stayed staring and not helping. He helped the first lady and then ignored me and decided to help the check out lane. Fine whatever but then when the line died he never helped he ignored that I was there standing with a big box waiting patiently, no "ill be with you right now". I had to wait for another employee to notice I was frustrated to help and even then she was rude. Don't work if your going to be acting like that. The worst staples ever. read more

I needed a laminator to make personal bookmarks for my wife's birthday. This Staples is easy to access with lots of parking. Staff were helpful at the laminator and at the register. Diverse set of employees-I love that. Also bought a hole-puncher. Staff were hard-working and busy. Helpfulness and friendliness made it a task not a chore. read more

Visited this location today at 9 am, needed to use their printing system. My toddler needed to use their restroom so we asked the "lead" a lady where the restroom was, went to restroom. 1 stall was locked and was told after it was not "working". The working stall however was filthy, you can definitely tell it had not been cleaned in weeks, possibly even months. How can a business allow this? It was confirmed that the employees also use those restrooms which I find mind blowing, and has been brought up to management by the employees that the restrooms need some attention but nothing is done. There was no hand soap in the dispenser. I noticed a clip board on the wall, based on that seem restroom are "check/cleaned" 3 times a day. 11am, 3pm & closing. If that is the case it should have been cleaned for CLOSING last night. Should NOT have looked the way it did this morning, however the lead when questioned about it stated there was a mom and child who used it this morning but I find that hard to believe the floor itself and toilet looked to not have been cleaned in a very long time. She asked one employee right away to clean the women's restroom. read more

Worst staples ever. Never coming here again. Wasted 20 of my time at the copy center. I needed to make a simple color copy and it was ridiculous. The copy machines don't take Apple Pay so you need a physical card or to buy a gift card and load money. It would of been nice to know that before standing there 10 minutes trying to get help. Then the machine was having issues loading the file. I walked out after staff gave me zero resolution and waiting 20 minutes to make 4 simple color copies. Do not come here unless you like wasting your time. read more

This is Staples. I shop here on occasion. This particular visit I was looking for a certain item, which they didn't have. And I am not holding that against them. While I was there I took some pictures as a sign of the times. And I am not basing the rating on that either. My problem with this staples is that I can NEVER get any help on the floor. I can NEVER find any help, ANYWHERE, except at the register. I would think that there would be someone, stocking, or tidying, or straightening up displays - BUT NEVER. They have good prices and a good selection. I just don't find them customer friendly. read more

I visited staples after receiving an email that my print order was ready for pick up. When i arrived to the print and copy station the employee working on 10/15/2023 in the evening provided TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I greeted myself he asked for a name after a few minutes of him looking he asked if its under another name i asked if my order would help his response was "nah i don't need that" he then takes a call and tries looking for my order again. He asked what i was picking up and after another long wait he asked for my order number and looked in the same place and magically found it. Im not sure what his deal was but he purposely wasted my time and was rude about it. He Didn't even say thank you when handing me the receipt. Get it together Staples customer service in the print and copy department is lacking. Same day 10/15/2023 I purchased an office chair Employee CRUZ was great!! He really turned the horrible experience i had in the print and copy station around. CRUZ asked very detailed questions to find the best chair for me and showed me different options of chairs. He even took the time to mention and explain the furniture protection that I purchased. read more

I called to ask about a return, spoke to Ryan. Ryan said to come in and see what they could do. All they did was tell me they couldn't do the return. They could have told me that on the phone and not wasted my time. After one employ said no, they said let me get my manager who still told me no. I'm not from Downey. I drove from Orange County because no other staples would connect me to a live person. Horrible customer service all around. I had to wait a whopping 55 minutes and 33 seconds. When I came inside everyone's mom and their mom was in there. They didn't even have staples. I went to use the printer and it was too difficult. I accidentally punched and destroyed the motherboard on the computer and they made me pay for it... I came to print things and I got no help from any employee. I was SHOUTING their names and no response. The big D will not be coming back. read more

I love their big discount sales on critical items. Where I used to work, an organization we were a part of, ISRI, provided great pricing on office supplies with Staples. On this day, Staples had one of their blowout sales in which regular customers like you and I can find excellent procurement like prices on items we buy. I purchased four poly binders for twenty five cents each. I purchased three half- inch folders and one one-inch folder. There was so much more on sale but I had already purchased it at another store for comparable prices. This Staples store is in the plaza near the Gap, Michaels, Jamba Juice and other cool spots, very convenient. Parking is a breeze though some days and times you may have to walk a bit more. read more

Oh, and if you need something and the employee you have helping you is having a problem he can simply call for back up. These guys are like info ninjas! Out of nowhere comes your answer from a mystery person ... reminds me of the Wizard of Oz - "...pay no attention to the man answering from behind the green curtain made from printer ribbon!" NOTE: Staples always has neatly dressed and groomed employees who are super helpful. The store is always clean and well illuminated (don't ya hate when you are paying big bucks to eat a fancy meal and the place makes you wish you had a headlamp on? What am I spelunking?). To the folks running Staples, and most big box stores, having a brightly lit store is just the way they do it. Ok enough comedy... I love this store. So does the printer and its paper tray. If I could give this business zero stars I would. I walked around this store for almost an hour looking for label maker for my mother and other items I needed. If it wasn't something for my mother I would had walked out, Employees and customers stared at me and yet not one employee walked to me to see if I needed assistance. Checking out the employee asks if I need assistance? I told him no since I was inside this store with a basket full of items so I can put them in my vehicle as well. Went to this store to get a simple enlargement and laminating of a chart. To begin with, in spite of being the only customer in line the woman had to tell the guy to help me even though he could clearly see I was standing there alone. Then his while demeanor was one of just being bothered to help me. Then, he couldn't figure out how to do the simple request. He even asked for my personal cell phone so he could look at the file I sent. Mind you, I had just hd one made at Office Depot but thought Staples would be the same. Boy was I wrong. I ended up going back to Office Depot and they got it done in less than 10 mims. Staples need to train their people better and give them a class on customer service. read more

I had an issue with a computer that I bought from Staples. Raul helped me with my situation. Long story short my computer went out shy of 1 year but I had bought support with it and Raul was able to walk me through the steps. I really felt like he cared and he had a lot of patience and concerns. With his help I was able to use the support that I bought and didn't have to pay anything out of pocket.
