I had one of the absolute worst experiences at iFixandrepair in Pico Riveria on 1-7-26 at 2:30 pm. I bought a cable from there about a week ago that is supposed to be used to plug in a phone to a computer monitor. This was going to help with online music lessons. I tried it on 3 computers and it did not work. When I took it back to the store I was told I didn't know what I was doing and it wasn't the store's fault! It worked on the store's computer but not mine. I explained that I wasn't going to buy another computer for the cable to work and would like my money back. The store said no it's working fine. I pointed out that it didn't work on my computers. I then asked if they were on Yelp and he said that he was. I responded with, "oh good because you are really rude!" What happened to actual and genuine customer service? What happened to companies caring about customers? So buyer beware of these type of stores. Horrible Service Experience! I visited this phone repair shop on June 29 to inquire about getting the screens on my Series 6 44mm Apple Watch and iPhone 13 Pro Max replaced. The clerk assured me they could handle the repairs and requested a $100 down payment for the parts, which I paid. He told me the parts would arrive in three business days, and I would receive a call when they were in. On July 5 at 5:09 PM, I called the shop for an update. The clerk had no information for me and promised to call back in a few minutes. At 5:56 PM, he finally called back and asked if I had ordered the parts. I reminded him that I had given a $100 down payment. His response was a nonchalant "oh... okay sorry," and then he hung up on me. A minute later, at 5:57 PM, he called back to tell me the parts were never ordered due to a supposed UPS shipping error. It's infuriating that he couldn't provide an update all this time and had the audacity to suggest it was my responsibility to order the parts. I want my money refunded immediately as I am leaving the state this week. It's been nearly two weeks, and I still have no resolution or clear communication from this shop. I am writing this review on July 10, 2024, to warn others about this unacceptable service. Avoid this place at all costs! Update I got my phone back and the clerk did not return it to me until I gave him the case and he gave it to me with the case on! He fooled me when I got to my car, My phone was still cracked and I did not notice until I left the store! These people are scam artists! When I went in today, they said they will give me a discount by not charging me tax! However, they charged me full price regardless at a near $280! Don't fall for their crap they say this when they take direct payments in the first place! I will be telling everybody I see at this Walmart not to shop here. I cannot believe you people are thieves!!!! I will be escalating this situation and take further action! read more

Technician was savvy but I should have seen the red flag when his quote started with "it's about $xxxx," rather than a set price. Sure enough, the alleged premium part he used was inferior to original part and caused a lag in phone as well as a blurry view. When I asked him to remove fake part and re-replace with my broken part, the technician said it would be free. However, before my refund, he called and spoke to his boss in their native language, then proceeded to charged me $75 for re-replacing my original part and keeping the inferior part I was initially charged for. Horrible service overpriced and cheap parts and they will not honor their "15 day warranty replacement". First off screen replacement is the most expensive $126 for a screen, i went in because it was close and i had seen it before and my phone was not working the screen broke i could not look up reviews- the guy said it would be 15 minutes i went to the bathroom and comeback the place was closed i waited for an hour for him to come back. He tells me when he gets back that my phone isnt done because i should pay for anew battery and he will give me a discount $65 to do it right then- i say im good i will look into it he sais its his responsibility to tell me my phone could hurt me if im using it while charging. When i got home i realized there is a dead pixel on the new screen he just replaced i dont go back immediately because i was there so long- its been two days i come back to tell him and sais there is a scratch on the screen so the warranty is void and he will not replace it- mind you i have had the plastic on the screen for two days and it has been in my purse there is a scratch on a side of the screen far from the dead pixel it is smaller that 8pt font literally this screen is so cheap it is scratched from being in my purse he said i should have bought the screen protector, i tell him the screen he put on my phone was faulty to begin with i didnt notice until i got home and the scratch is no were near the damaged on the screen he said he would have replaced it if i bought a screen protector that he told me to buy- insane waste of money go anywhere else or he ripped off now i have an overpriced screen that has dead pixels. Beware this place is a scam they will sell you cheap and faulty goods that will be damaged by the time you get home and they will not replace them. read more

I went into this location on a Tuesday afternoon to repair the screen on 2 Motorola edge (2021) phones. I was aware that these are older phones and parts might not be in stock. So I was quotes $90 each phone. I paid a $100 deposit to order both screens and was told they would be in Thursday and they would call me. I told him no problem, Friday would be better for me anyways. He said he would call either way Come Friday, no call. So Saturday, I called the location to check status and there was no answer. I left a message and also texted the number with the same message as I noticed that there office phone was a cell phone. I received no call or text back. It is now Monday. They open at 10. I called, no answer. It's 11:15. So I drove to Walmart to see them in person. The lights are on but the gate is pulled and locked closed. I stand outside the gate and call, I hear ringing but no answer. I stand there for 15 minutes, nobody comes. So I moved over to customer service to ask if they had a way to get a hold of the owner and while I'm waiting in line, I see the owner walk out, lock the gate and leave. So he was in the store the entire time I was there and while I called. At this point I would not recommend and will be filing charges for fraud against my credit card deposit. UPDATE: after posting this review, I finally received a call that my parts were in. He claimed that he called me 8 times and the call wouldn't go through. Seems odd since he was literally talking to me on my phone. I asked him to kindly send me a screenshot of the incomplete calls so I could call Verizon. He said he didn't know how to get that . I told him I just wanted a refund and did not trust him. He said he wouldn't give me a refund unless I removed this review. I refused and said I would just file as a fraud charge on my credit card. He finally offered a refund, but I think that everyone should be weary of parts are ordered. If parts are in stock, I think he would be fine to work with. He was super kind the first day I met him.
