He said it cost too much for me to fix it for you while it's better to get a refurbished one a more discounted price. I was impressed with this shop. They were very helpful and honest. I cracked my screen pretty bad and they had it fixed within 30 mins, aside from having quite a few customers. I dropped off a broken phone and picked up a brand new one - at least that's how I felt :) Great job Cell U Tech By the way I'm not too tech savvy and have the iPhone 5s. There was an upgrade a couple months ago that rendered the camera useless. There was nothing I could do since I didn't have warranty or insurance. I bought a new Samsung s10 back in December. I had a screen protector on for a short amount of time before that screen protector shattered from a drop. Needless to say I removed it and stupidly never replaced said screen protector. I shattered the bottom right hand corner of my actual phone screen months ago and have just lived with it. I'm going camping in a few weeks and invested in a sturdy case and new screen protector. However, i decided I should finally fix my screen before placing on a new screen protector. I came here because of the good reviews and close proximity to my house. The owner (I assume) was up front with me about my options and pricing. $299 to fix it that day, or $129 to send out and have back in roughly 10 days. I have a sick family member at the moment, so as of now it's important to me to have my phone for emergencies. I opted for that day and paid $299 in cash. My phone was ready about and hour and a half later. Good as new. The man who fixed my phone was straight forward and pleasant. I appreciate his work and will return for future phone debacles or phone accessories. Highly recommend this business. read more

I went to Cell-U-Tech with a phone that was losing power drastically. He sold me a battery for $15. Though I needed the battery, that didn't solve the problem. I went back, and he said I needed to reset the phone to factory level. I had no idea how to do that, so he helped me transfer my contacts by g-mail and gave me thorough instructions as to how to reset the phone. He spent a lot of time helping me. I went back home and followed his instructions, and now my phone works great! All for just a $15 battery! I really am thankful to have found this place. If you have a newer iPhone don't take your phone here!!!!! I paid $169 in cash the screen they put gives me so many issues!!!! Even when my screen was cracked originally it didn't give me this many issues!!!!! My phone is clicking on things I never touched on the screen!!!!! I took it back because the screen completely blacked out on me but they said it was because I dropped it. I had a screen protector on it which had a small hairline crack r u kidding???? They said they'd replace it this once without charging me but the screen does the same dang thing!!!!! A screen protector protects the screen from cracking so if the protector takes the blow the actual screen itself should be fine. But my phone has liked me out, been disabled turns off randomly even when I'm still looking at it! Cheap product but yet they're charging nearly $200 for these garbage screens and only take cuz cash cuz they probably don't report all of what they make. I brought my Iphone 8 here to get a crack in the screen repair fixed. He changed the screen as requested, but when he handed it to me he told me it now had a glitch; the touch ID/home button was glitching. He mentioned that is why he doesn't like Iphone 8's. He mentioned that I was lucky because sometimes they don't work at all. He said I would have to now put my finger off to the side a bit to unlock my phone and that he added an "assist" on the screen to help me. It did not work for me. When I left, I couldn't unlock my phone. I took it back and he proceeded to show me how to do it the new way. I still had difficulty once I left and could no longer screen shot on my phone and complete simple functions. I had to get a new phone. I am devastated. I feel like they should have been up front in the beginning and told me that I could possibly have a glitch. I wouldn't have gotten my screen repaired. My crack was very small and in the corner; I could have lived with that. :( On the upside, his wife repaired a broken zipper on a pair of jeans and did a great job. I would not recommend this place for phone screen repairs; at least not on an Iphone. He should have at least offered me my money back when he ruined my phone. read more

My iPad was mess up and I took it to some guy in Whittier, he said he was going to charge me $190 to fix it, I thought I should get a second opinion, I found this place by my house cell-u-tech repairs, I went in and the guy tells me it was going to be $145, I decided to pay that instead of $190, he tells me to comeback in a week, but after leaving the place I received a call and he tells me, your iPad is ready, I went back and he tells me that he needed to refund me money, i had given a $100 deposit, he said my ipad had some cables loose, he tied them up, and is going to be $25 dollars only. He was honest, he could of just kept the tablet the whole week and kept the $145 but instead he was honest and he did a great job, so I highly recommend this place, the service was excellent and is close to my house. I cannot even begin describe how happy i am that i found this place! God sent. Seriously. My phones screen was fine but the touch was unresponsive. Couldn't put in my code to unlock or answer calls. I first took my phone over to iPhone repair 605 (because it's down the street from my house) they told me they had to replace the screen $134 but didn't have the part and that I probably couldn't have my phone until tomorrow. That was just not an option because it is my birthday and I wanted my phone. So I went online found the next nearest place and they came up. Charlie was beyond amazing. He talked me through all the possibilities of what could be wrong and what the solution could be. Even lend me a loaner phone so he could reach out to me once he figured out my phones issue because I had no other way of communication, with a deposit left of course. Luckily it was just a software issue and I had my phone back in less than an hour!! And for much, much, MUCH less than what the other place was charging me. Honesty and great service! But one day my phone took a leap of faith from my lap while I was exciting my car just like it had before in the past and the concrete won this time cracking my front screen. I had looked around on Yelp for a good place to get my phone fixed and came across this place. I saw the good reviews and figured why not. I went in and was quoted $105 to fix my iPhone 6 glass and LCD screen, a little more then I wanted to pay but way more affordable then what Apple wanted. I was told it would take about 40 min so I decided to got get some lunch. To my surprise it was finished 10 min ahead of time. I returned to pick up my phone and paid and was told that it came with a 30 day warranty incase of defects. Im a apple geek so naturally I checked the quality of work and it looked up to par. Bottom Line: Grate place fast friendly service, affordable, and professional. Hopefully I wont have to return to one of these places again but if I do this place I will keep in mind. read more

I've gone here twice and the first time was to replace the charging port on my phone and it was fixed within 2 hours! This time I went to get an estimate on water damage, screen replacement and to replace another port. He was very honest with me and told me my best bet would be to just go through insurance for the phone with water damage. And for the other phone with that needed a new charger port was just going to be used temporarily until I dish out the money to replace the water damaged phone so he offered me a cheaper solution which was purchasing a battery charger instead of paying more money to fix the port. I'm bummed about my damaged phone but at least I didn't have to pay a lot of money to use my backup phone. read more
