Took my iPad which wouldn't charge for repair. We were told it needed a new battery. The iPad was important to me as it was a gift from my son and I foolishly had tons of photos on it that weren't backed up on the iCloud. We were told it would take a couple of days. Communication with the owner/receptionist was vague and always initiated by us, not them. After replacing the battery, the iPad still would not charge. Without our consent, they sent it to another one of their stores so that a technician with more experience could work on it. We were told it needed a part that had to be ordered from New York and would take ten days to arrive. Really? After nearly three weeks, we went and picked up my iPad - still dead as a doornail. I do not recommend this place. Poor communication with their customers, and not knowledgeable or trained enough to work on Apple products. read more

I took my iPhone 12 Pro Max that had a broken screen, talked to Jesus advised me on price and eta. Got it done faster than expected. Very satisfied with service phone works as expected no issues. What I really appreciate is the customer service. I was coughing and he offered me a water. He did not have to offer but he kindly did which to me that more valuable than price. Let me say this. I have been coming to this place to fix my phones for years. There prices and there customer Service was excellent. They are willing to fix the problem, and have you out with your phone in mins. I recommended this place to everyone I know. But this last time I went in with my iPhone. They must if thought I was crazy. I explain to them that my speaker did not work. He call my phone did a test and the speaker work. I kept telling him that, when I'm on the speaker walking to people. They don't hear me. It's off and on. Well the person was. It willing to help me. And I was not in the mood to argue with him. It must of been one of them day. But let me say. NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER go here. I can't see how anyone would give them 5 stars unless it was a really good day, or Robert just sweet talked them. I would rather pay more and get done what I came for. The very first time I took my computer there just to fix the skeleton part of my laptop screen Renee conveniently FORGOT to put my camera/audio back in my computer. I should have known when he tells me that he works on a few computers at the same time, seeing all of them opened up sitting next to each other, and Robert wasn't able to get him to come back to work for hours after telling me he would be back shortly. I used this computer to earn my living so finding out ON MY JOB that it isn't working is not acceptable. I should have left the skeleton broke. And what happened to my camera? It's sitting in someone else's computer. I had to spend another $500 for another computer because they couldn't find the original camera, and whatever one they replaced it with was not the same quality. Robert did give me a "free" service which ended up costing me more money. My daughter's and son's iPhone both had cracked screens, so my daughter's was free and my son's was another $70. My son's phone DID NOT EVEN LAST A WHOLE 24 HOURS! He did not drop his phone. Again, whatever they use to replace the screen is NOT the same quality as the original. In Robert's defense (I guess) he did offer $10 off. So that would make it $130 to fix one screen...sad. If you really want to go here still, just expect for you to have to keep calling to see if your item is fixed. They have NEVER ONCE called me to say it's ready. And if you sit in the office for five minutes you can listen to all the excuses given to the customers on the phone about why their order isn't ready yet, or oops! Such and such happened. Okay first off: I called to get a quote and they said $85 for solely a cracked screen. It ended up being a hundred dollars with tax AND labor and it upset me that they didn't include all of that from the jump. Second: They guy told me that there was a slight chance my Touch ID on my 5s wouldn't work anymore after they repaired it. I was still willing to do it because he made it seem as though it was very unlikely to happen. It happened and now my Touch ID doesn't work. -_- Third: He told me it would be 30-45 minutes and ended up waiting an hour and a half. When I went to check on the status, the guy asked out loud "Is the black 5s ready?" and the guy yelled "Yeah it's BEEN ready!" so that was a waste time and I was in a rush. Four: My front camera no longer works properly and now I need to go back tomorrow, since they never said anything about that happening. At least they give a 30 day warranty. In a nutshell, I would suggest going elsewhere before coming here. I have friends who paid less than have the price I did and got a better job done off a joe on a craigslist. Feel like a I def got ripped off. EDITED: Went back to the shop with all of my issues and the actual owner was there. He was very helpful and willing & they fixed everything and didn't let me leave until I was happy. Guess it was just the other employee that made my first experience a bad one. read more

WOW, these guys are great!!! I went in to have them repair the power button and home button on my iPhone 4. Luis replaced them both in about an hour, and right in front of me. It came out to about $70. I even had them max out the memory on my MacBook. They did that in 20 minutes and for less than half what it would have cost me a the Apple Store. Avoid at all costs. I should have read other reviews. I took in an iPhone 7 with a cracked screen that was fully functioning. The first time they gave it back to me the phone was freezing, zooming in and out, and wouldn't let me open apps. It was like a different phone. I took it back the same night. The second time around it was better but had a green/yellow tint to it. Later that night it started freezing again. I called the next day, a Saturday, to see if they were open Sundays. The lady said yes 11am-6pm. I go to the Hadley location because the lady that answered number on this yelp page for that exact location said they were open. Nope. Waste of time. Apparently the number starting with 6 on this page actually goes to another location. Right on. As a customer, I'm relying on yelp business info for accurate data, not old business card pics. I went in again today and the staff said go check out their Whittier and Gunn location. Fine. I explained to staff my situation at that store and asked for a refund if they couldn't fix it. Why pay about $100 for a repair that made my phone unreliable. The girl says we'll have to put a cracked screen back on it. Le duh. Fast forward an hour and 20 min later. Low and behold they bring out the same yellow/green screen with its unreliable function. I repeat I want a refund. Bertha says come back tomorrow. Now why would I make a F I F T H trip? I said no I can wait. She says we'll refund you up to 22 less what you paid. Why would I pay ANYthing for a "service" that meant five trips to a store, several hours and wasted gas? They gave me a full refund, put on another cracked screen, and now my phones home button doesn't work. I literally paid money for Shit Service and a phone in worse condition than what I brought in. My IPhone 6+ crashed on me over a year ago. It was giving me problems before that and just ignored the signs something was wrong. Anyway, I took it to the Apple store in Irvine to see if the can revive my phone. After 15 minutes of tinkering they said there was nothing they could do and it was dead. I was pretty much shocked! This is an Apple product! I paid a lot of money for this phone! Since my phone was "dead" I had to revert to my old 5 before I decided to shell out money for a new phone or updated family plan. In the meantime I found this location for IPhone repair which is right up the street from my home. After I dropped off my phone, I was originally told they could not fix it (kind of expected) and I could pick it up. But I did not want to pick it up. It was dead! After a month or two with the phone at the repair shop I received a text from Luis. He asked for my login info and Apple ID. Well, after a few more text messages and 24 hrs later the genius fixed my phone!! Apple could not help but Luis could! I could not of been happier with service and outcome! They were great with me. After my break-in, they did a fabulous job at taking our my hard drive and placing it on my external hard drive. Although it took a solid month to get the correct screen ordered due to the age of my iPod, it was still worth the wait. The owner treated me very well and make things affordable for me, and as soon as humanly possible. I went to the location on Whittier Blvd. And they helped me as much as they were able to do. I recently dropped and shattered my iPhone 4S screen. A friend recommended iPhone Repair Whittier. When I first when in to inquire, they were out of white iPhone glass screen replacements. Robert was extremely helpful, taking down my number and keeping me up to date as to when they were expecting their next shipment (initial estimate of three days). The stars must have aligned because a few hours later, I received a phone call saying they were expecting a shipment from their vendor and I could drop in. Twenty minutes later, and I had a brand new screen! Excellent customer service and great work. Let's hope I never have to use their services again, but if I ever do, I will definitely return here. $75 to replace my front screen. $1.50 extra for using credit card. I believe it's an extra $20 if you want to change your screens out to colored screens. Just to compare, at the iPhone repair booth at the Santa Anita Mall, the same service costs $79. read more

I came back 3 hours later and they still haven't even looked at my phone, also took them 25 minutes to find it. They charged me 110 for a new screen, I went to a repair shop off Firestone, it was 85 and the man gave me a free case! Brought my iPad in for repairs of a small blackened section of the LED screen about 2 months ago, they assured me it it would be done in 3 days or less, at that time EVERYTHING worked and the only issue was the blackened section of the screen, I fully charged the device before I brought it in. As a week went by with no call updates I came in and it wasn't done and was explained that they need authorization to order parts from whom ever authorizes it and that parts were hard to get. I came by every Tuesday for 7 weeks and it wasn't done yet. Last Tuesday I picked it up not charged the screen was repaired went home and charged it for 3 days but would not take the charge but now had new issues with the device, the outer metal trim was flimsy The screen moved up and down and the power up button didn't work, whilst all of this was not present when I brought in the device. I tried to bring it to their other location on whittier but the guy I've been dealing with was there, I think his name is Randy, he gave me some song and dance BS about it being old and that things happen to brake while their fixing it. All BS That was last Tuesday, went by today and it's been sit tut on the bench since last week Not touched. DO NOT HAVE YOUR DEVICES REPAIRED HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!' They are incompetent and have no customer service skills ..... I regret no sending it to Apple instead.... This is a backyard business ..... Honestly it's a waste of my time going through insurance they take days or weeks to get your phone back come in here you'll have it done in 20 minutes or so way easier than insurance and more of a convenience if you ask me!
