I would highly recommend this business for your repair needs! LONG REVIEW: I purchased my 2nd gen iPad Pro in 2020 brand new directly from Apple. A few weeks ago my iPad suddenly wouldn't power on. After trying all the suggested solutions online I took it to the Apple Store. They told me a major component failed & the only solution they offered me was to replace the entire iPad with the exact same one (amazing they had something that old in stock) & would've cost me about $500. I decided to look for other solutions & reached out to a few different businesses on Yelp. Joey was very quick to reply. I took it in & he diagnosed it free of charge. After a quick analysis he let me know there was major failure in the hardware & parts would need to be replaced. He told me if he could fix it, it would cost the price we agreed on when he diagnosed it. If not, it was no charge. He estimated he could finish the project by tomorrow. The next day he called (which I missed) & texted me to let me know my device was ready for pick up. To my delight, when I came to the shop the screen lit up & my wallpaper was still displayed (meaning my data was still there)! Joey was kind, worked quickly, & I was never in the dark about how long the service would take or how much it would cost me. I contacted my provider and because of the damage, they said an upgrade would cost me $850+ all the fees/taxes. The agent actually suggested trying to get it fixed, which I was unaware was possible. I called CIR and they said since the camera lenses were intact, it would be $110. Jose worked on it for me. When I went to pick it up, he explained to me how he fixed it. I showed up with a new case and he put it on for me. Jose is professional, thorough, and is a nice young man. Everyone I have spoken and worked with at CIR provides knowledgeable and courteous service. Thank you for saving me not only hundreds of dollars, but also my data that sometimes doesn't get backed up and under gets lost when upgrading to a new phone. The phone was fully functional when I dropped it off, and I was told there would be a delay because the replacement battery was coming from the East Coast. The repair was delayed for several days with little to no communication or meaningful updates. After receiving the battery, they disassembled my phone and later informed me that the phone was no longer functioning because there was now an issue with the board. I walked into this business with a working phone and left with what amounts to a paperweight. Even worse, I am now unable to retrieve any of the information or data from the phone. Regardless of what they believe caused the board issue, the fact remains that the phone was operational when I turned it over to them and completely nonfunctional after their repair attempt. The lack of communication, extended delays, and the condition in which my phone was returned are unacceptable. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend CIR Cerritos for phone repairs.
