    This store has ok service, but for sure NOT the most welcoming staff when it comes to Amazon returns. They are rude, and seem to hate doing Amazon's returns. I would rather go to UPS in Carson. They're so much better! The ladies bathroom seems to have a camera. But I'm not sure if it is. It blinks red, and is not a fire alarm, or a aromatic gadget.

    Don't waste your time with the staples@printme.com crap. It won't work and the employees are ignorant so they can't help either.

I agreed and said I would come in on the 8th. A few days later, I messaged to reschedule to the 15th. The owner replied on Yelp that it was fine. On the morning of the 15th, I texted my arrival time a few hours in advance, to which he never replied. I arrived at the shop with my laptop, and the employee working said there was no order for me, which was confusing because the owner had been so communicative. He said he would order the part and it would be there later that week and I agreed to come back. I got a text confirmation with my order number and everything. Fast forward a week and a half: silence. Nothing. I replied to the order confirmation text asking if it had arrived, and I don't know if it went through or not, but it's just weird they wouldn't have the part by now or some kind of update. I gave up, bought a kit on Amazon for $35, and installed it myself in 10 minutes. I don't know where this project fell apart, but if the shop didn't want to take it on, they could have declined it. I'm just confused by lack of follow-through because they have so many good reviews, and I thought I had done everything I could, both in person and online, to confirm I wanted the service.

They got straight to work and had everything fixed in under an hour while I sat in the store, connected to their Wi-Fi, and knocked out work on my laptop like I was at a coffee shop.     I needed my expensive gaming laptop repaired and was scammed before by a local repair shop that…read moregave me a faulty motherboard. This was the first time I went to uBreakiFix as a desperate last resort and they ordered a new mobo and replaced it within a couple of weeks with reasonable labor costs. However, there was poor communication the first time around and apparently the first guy thought that it would be acceptable to replace it with a GTX 2070 instead of the 2080 that it originally came with. Upon seeing a cheaper final price and promptly reading the receipt, I realized the mistake they made and asked them to order a 2080 instead, not minding how much longer it would take. They said that it would arrive in another couple of weeks and that I could just pay the $350 difference, no extra labor costs added. I was worried, but sure enough, they called me when it was ready and my $4000 laptop started up beautifully without a problem with a fresh installation of windows 11. They made it right and stayed true to their word, and I only had to pay the price difference. Thanks, uBreakiFix for not putting me through anymore headache. I will be doing business with them again in the future.
