Bellden Cafe has it all, we've already gone several times I'm obsessed with the ube mochi waffle, it is soooo delicious (not too sweet, incredible texture and flavor). Their matcha is also lovely, I got matcha with rose syrup both times I went (so immaculate). I've turned into a bit of a matcha snob, so always looking for some good options and they hit the spot. The service is incredible, literally the people working there are the nicest people everrrr. Even on a super busy weekend morning, they were so accommodating, so friendly and even remembered us from just one visit! Really fantastic team, they really make the whole experience even MORE lovely. And the interior is jussssst so gorg!!! The decor is immaculate, there's lots of space (even when it was crowded), would be a perfect place to work from during the week, even their outdoor tables were very clean and cutie. Absolutely love, this has become a new staple of ours since moving to the east side! brunch girlies rise!!!

This spot has received numerous awards and recognition over the years, so I was glad to finally…read morecheck it out with a friend on a recent Sunday morning. When we walked in, most of the indoor tables were taken, but we got lucky and snagged one right as a couple was leaving. They have a pretty extensive drink menu of coffees, teas and smoothies alongside a food selection of açaí and yogurt bowls, breakfast sandwiches, waffles, toasts and salads. Prices do seem rather steep for food (particularly for the waffles), however, this business has a great philanthropic mindset that helps explain the price points. Whenever someone orders a specialty drink, they donate some of the proceeds to a charity. + LATTE w/ MISO MAPLE syrup ($5 for 12 oz. + $1 for syrup): The coffee itself was so good - robust, with a perfect balance between the espresso and milk. I was so excited to try this unique syrup flavor, but sadly, I didn't taste it at all. No umami from the miso and not even a hint of maple. I'm not sure if this syrup is just extremely subtle, or if it was simply forgotten. I really hope it's not the latter, since I paid extra for it. + MATCHA CHIA PUDDING ($13): The bowl may look small, but it was deep and the portion turned out to be filling. A Greek yogurt base was beautifully layered with matcha chia pudding, a strawberry-rhubarb compote, granola and rose. I loved the compote which had the perfect sweetness of ripe strawberries and a little tang from the rhubarb. The matcha pudding was on the milder side, but smooth in consistency, contrasting nicely with the crunchy granola. My friend ordered the Açaí Bowl and really enjoyed it. The serving looked reasonable for the price as well. Overall, the two of us had a wonderful time here catching up over a healthy brunch! Tip: They have two small rooms available to reserve for parties of 4-6 if you're looking to secure seating for a group.

The baristas are pretty efficient and soon I was sipping on my drink. French Drinking Chocolate ($6.80) - This drink consists of melted, thick, luscious chocolate. It gives a sweetened, rich chocolate flavor and is even thicker than syrup in texture. It barely flows at all. I love the chocolate spheres placed on top that are like rice crisps giving a bit of texture. Unfortunately they also clog up the opening in the lid! (4/5) I don't drink much coffee, nor hang out at cafes much, but Third Culture Coffee seems to be a nice place to relax in.

There is a park nearby for you to sit and sip and people watch though!

It's a decently sized space serving specialty sandwiches and coffee made to order. You order at the counter and pay, and take a number with your order to a table where they bring out your food. Being a breakfast/brunch place, they close at 3pm. Got a mocha croissant, poached eggs and ham served on a croissant and a cardamon orange mocha latte. You can choose between breakfast potatoes or a side salad to go with your sandwich. All the items were absolutely delicious. The perfectly poached eggs were served on a flaky, buttery croissant lined with slices of ham and topped with a decadent hollandaise sauce. The specialty coffee was aromatic and flavorful. It is on the sweet side as most mochas are, but smooth and delicious. The mocha croissant was perfect to nibble on. I'm glad I had to leave for a meeting after this else I may have found myself eating my way through their menu!

The toppings are pretty consistent each time and they're generous with portions (24oz in total), peanut butter (if included), and fruits. I do wish their bases weren't blended smoothies and I wish they had at least one bowl option that contained raw acai scoops. Last time I got the acai bowl, I asked for no coconut nectar/honey, but I think the person making my order mixed it up and removed the coconut flakes instead and still added the coconut nectar/honey when I had asked for it to be removed. Overall, I really like this location in Bellevue. Nice and spacious instead, but can get a little hard to find seats during busy hours. It is below the connected Bank of America and Amazon buildings I believe. I think I'd want to try the smoothies next time I visit since they remind me of the ones at Erewhon. I also like their bites and snack options like the PB power bite and brownie, everything's made with wholesome and minimal ingredients.

The granola was delicious and I liked how they layered it at both the top and the bottom of the cup so you're not just left with açaí at the end. The açaí base itself was good, not too sweet or bland. Only complaint I have would be on the consistency of the base. It didn't feel firm enough and melted really fast. Fruit was fresh, wish they had different topping options but they don't specialize in açaí bowls which is understandable. I'd definitely come back whenever I'm craving an açaí bowl.

The ingredients may seem simple, but the execution is top notch. The bun is the star. They bake it fresh. Soft and tasty. And the egg is fluffy and filling by itself. The spam and furikake rounds it out perfectly. The piggy buns are a delight. Tried all 3 and I prefer the custard and taro. The molten custard is good too, but it can be messy. The half-star drop is due to service. It's not bad, but it's just not the warmest. They are busy, so I do recommend researching first before you order. That will eliminate any awkwardness. But the food absolutely makes up for this. And the ambiance is great. It's clean and comfortable to wait. Parking can be a bit of a challenge, but that's the case everywhere in Downtown Bellevue. If you're craving some bingsoo, make the trek to Bellevue if possible. This store is shared with Xi'an Noodles with a shared restroom and wifi available. Located in the Belgate plaza, there is plenty of parking. Mixed Berry Bingsoo - my favorite bingsoo because the berries are packed with flavor, sweet, and enhance the dessert. With a mix of sweetness, tartness, and acidity, the bingsoo has balance and the contrast actually helps each flavor shine. The berry juices even add flavor to the bingsoo below (and there are berries at the bottom). The only mediocre aspect is the whipped cream on top which is just whatever. Taro Bingsoo - the menu has alternated between ube ice cream and taro ice cream but I think it's always been taro ice cream because it's not overly sweet. Red bean is also sweet but after devouring the toppings (including the ice cream), the bingsoo itself doesn't offer much. It's sweet shaved milk with condensed milk but the taro flavor isn't as potent.

The cafe itself is beautiful, and it is inside a really nice downtown building with a lovely lobby area too, so even if you do not sit inside the cafe, you could probably sit out in the lobby and still enjoy your food and drink. I got the Spanish latte, which I think is one of their signature drinks. It was decent, but my friend's vanilla latte was actually much better. Coffee-wise, I thought it was good and better than some other coffee I have had in Bellevue, but I still personally prefer something more mainstream like Mercury Coffee. The breakfast sandwich was the highlight for me. I got the sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich, and it was delicious. The staff were very nice, and overall the vibe is really pleasant. Parking was a little confusing though. I was not sure where the garage was, so we parked right out front along with a couple other cars. There were not any signs, but I also was not completely sure if it was legal, so parking right in front feels limited and a little questionable.
