Walked in and was instantly greeted and asked if I needed help. Using the sample of the part I needed, Nicholas was able to quickly locate the parts in the system and walked me over to their location. Like a dummy I forgot to bring the a sample of the screws I needed to secure the handles to the new hot/cold stems for my bathroom faucet. Nicholas nonetheless took the time to help me find the screws using the stem, research on the Price Pfister website, and intuition. In addition, the store was big, well organized, and carried a lot of hard to find parts and accessories. The only reason I didn't give 5-stars was that the prices were a little bit higher than the Ace Hardware store I usually go to. read more

I love this store for the knowledge of the staff and the neighborhood hardware store feel. Everyone who works there has always been so nice and above and beyond helpful. With that said, I was really shocked to see how rude customers were being when I was just there. D.J. was helping me by mixing my paint when a man yelled from like 30 feet away "hey man! Can we get a little help over here?" To which D.J. answered in a manner way calmer than I could have mustered "the showroom is closed on Monday, but I can help you in a few minutes". Then after about 3 1/2 minutes of waiting, that same rude man walked out with his embarrassed teenage daughter, waving at D.J. and saying "thanks a lot for the help. I'll take my business elsewhere". D.J. kept a positive attitude about it the whole time and then immediately started getting questioned by another man who seemed to want to make mixing paint a very difficult process. Arguing with D.J about important things like how to dry the paint sample on top of the can and why don't they have different sizes of drywall. All in a very condescending tone. I just have to say D.J needs a raise! Anyone willing to work in public every day during a pandemic deserves a lot more respect and patience right now, people should all really think about their actions before taking out their issues on someone who doesn't have to be helping you. read more

We went to the cashier and found an uninterested employee that after the eye roll she put her phone back in her pocket and told me where the instructions were to find the bolt I was looking for instead of helping me. There return policy for CASH is so stupid. I bought a part for my shower door, under 10.00 dollars. Got home it was the wrong part. I went back with the package un opened. No CASH returns. They have to send you a check by mail 10-14 days later. Will never go back....Their customer service sucks. They did not help me find the part I needed, or give me my money back. Love this place. Go in usually for small stuff here or there. Over the past week I've been going in and out getting different stuff to replace my sprinkler system. Always very kind, courteous and willing to help. Usually I know what I need, so I don't really ask for help. Today when I went in, I was purchasing some items to change the shut off valve for my sprinkler line. The employee Jose let me know that if I have galvanized pipe connecting to copper, it may cause some problems down the road. He just seemed like he was keeping me informed of potential problems, not like he was trying to shove more items down my throat. I asked him potential fixes and he showed me a few different options. He walked me through the store and gave me multiple ways to circumvent the problem and seemed very eager to help. I've gone here multiple times, and today was a perfect example of the reason I will go here as opposed to Home Depot. The service is well above par. The employees are very friendly, not overbearing, and they take pride in their effort and the knowledge of the workplace. But I went in today for a mole key and it took 7 minutes for them to tell me that they didn't have a duplicate key. They have no key scanner. I went in today to buy some emergency exit light bulbs. I also was returning a shower flange that I did not use. I left it on the counter with an older gentleman. I walked back to see if they had what I needed. They didn't. I went back to the counter to see the older gentleman waving my receipt at one of the other employees. I said is there a problem? The old guy was surprised I had walked back up. He sheepishly said nothing. It's within the 30 days. And it was. I have no idea why he was clowning me. I asked for my park back and told him to keep my refund. But it wasn't in a very nice way. The other employee tried too calm me but I said a few more choice words. And I left. Most of the time when I go into that store looking for something, they never have it in stock or there shelves are empty or they don't carry it at all and have to order it, Just like today I wanted some Stucco patch, Guess what they don't have it. Wow. What an. operation. Went to return and buy some new screws they I bought yesterday. I accidentally threw the receipt away and for 6 screws at .15 each they refused to do a return. Can't track without a receipt number. Terrible customer service. They told me to co text corporate in Salt Lake City to complain. read more

Well all I can say is I miss osh so bad. I will not go to home D. So true value is what we have. They are integrating the tru value hardware into an existing business American plumbing and I think it's a great addition. They are smaller and have less selection than osh but really willing to change and order what u need if it's not available. The screw nut and bolt section is proving quite helpful over the the past few months. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only draw back is they r not open on Sunday. read more
