Thank you so much for taking care of my tint problem, Ohana Tinting was a bright light after Months of dealing with car stuff and one of the last steps that helped move things along in the journey. #RELIEF. After getting a fail on my inspection due solely to them now enforcing the brake light tint BS I began searching for quotes for a simple removal and I was quoted super high quotes by 3 other places before I found these guys and I am so glad I found them because these guys integrity is what really stood out to me and makes me keep recommending them. Mind you I was only getting a removal but Kyle got me in and out of there in less than 10 minutes and was friendly willing to answer any questions of mine on top of that. Thank you Kyle, Thank you Ohana Tinting, I'll be back for my Car Tint

He also provided paperwork to keep in my car to certify that the tint is legal (though I believe Hawai'i is updating its tint laws for sedans soon). I was having an issue with dropping my vehicle off due to something popping up last minute at work -- Daniel offered to drive his car over, take my car, do the work, and return it. He also offered mobile services, given that I had covered parking to ensure the quality of his work. Communication is easy and he responds quickly. He was able to fit me in the day after I inquired. HI Tint Guy is located in Kapahulu and is right off the main street. Super easy to find. He doesnt double book so he can ensure that your car is in and out in a timely manner. He's got a small waiting area if you choose to hang out, though, there are many places to venture off to. I wont go into detail on pricing, but I can positively tell you that Daniel was not only competitive, but fair. Best part, he uses only the best tint film and he provides a lifetime warranty on his work. If it bubbles, rips, etc, dont worry, hes got you covered. Daniel took care to save my window stickers (which I told him to toss anyway). He is knowledgeable on Hawaii Tint Laws and will tell you exactly what he thinks you should go with if you are unsure or want your car to be darker but legal (or not). I did all of my window -- both windshields included. Daniel completed the work in about 2 hours. He also ensured that the interior of my vehicle was cleaned up and spotless from any water residue. I love that he places a sticker over your window controls to remind you not to roll your window down. I will definitely be recommending HI Tint Guy to anyone that needs tint. Will post photos at a later time.

Less than an hour later, I received a response from Al's Tint Company. He was professional, patient, and willing to answer all of my questions in detail. If you're looking for reliable service and expert guidance I'd definitely reach out to Al's Tint Company.

I chose Al's Tinting because they've been in business 22 year and their customer service over the phone was great. Al was so pleasant, patient, and understanding with me and my needs. He at no time try to upsell me. He showed me the various tints and the sun's effect, which I really appreciated. I ended going with his recommendation and glad I did. The workmanship in removing the old tint and replacement was excellent. They treated my 20 + year old car as if it was theirs. The job time was faster than I expected, just four hours. The location is great near Cutter Ford. Lots of eating places in the area and close to the bus line should you want to leave the area and even Pearlridge Shopping Center. The prices are very reasonable, and they give a $50.00 discount if they remove and replace the tint at the same time. I would highly recommend Al's tinting to anyone wanting to tint their vehicle windows..

My absolute favorite is our frosted hallway window. Richard suggested frosting only part of the window instead of covering the entire thing. We now have the privacy we wanted while still being able to enjoy the natural light and the view of the sunshine and coconut trees above the frosted area. I love it! The tint on our other windows also looks great and really helps cut down on the glare without making our home feel dark. It was such a pleasure working with someone who takes pride in his work and gives thoughtful suggestions based on his experience. I'm very happy with the results and would definitely recommend Richard to anyone looking for quality window tinting. Five stars!

I've had three vehicles tinted here over the past two years, and all experiences were excellent. Bruno was patient, professional, and incredibly meticulous. He treated my cars better than anyone else... honestly, even better than I do. You can tell he takes pride in his work and wants every detail to come out right. For all vehicles I went with ceramic tint on passenger and driver windows plus the windshield. The results looked incredibly clean and factory-like. Beyond appearance, the temperature inside the cabin became noticeably more comfortable, which makes a big difference in Hawaiʻi's sun. Turnaround time was also impressive. They completed the job in about two hours, which made it easy to plan around. Another nice bonus is the location. TintPro is across the street from HiClimb in Kakaʻako, so while your car is being worked on there are plenty of places nearby to grab food, coffee, or do a little shopping. I've trusted Bruno with multiple vehicles and will continue going back whenever I need tinting. Highly recommended if you want quality work done right the first time.
