We were immediately greeted when we walked in the door by Caden, who was extremely helpful and got my finance in the perfect suit within 10 minutes. He was present anytime my fiancé came out of the fitting room with any suggestions and was always there to assist. If you ever go to this store and something doesn't fit you will get no help as it's a dealer discount store meaning they do what they want. We left and called this store to order some boots that liked online that ended up being the wrong size. We were offered the opportunity to return them initially or go to another red wing store. No red wing store had them in stock so we called Orem to ask if we could order the right pair. We were told we would get a call back from Aimee in 30 minutes when she got to work but it ended being 4 days later. To our surprise it was the manager of whom we had never spoken to outside of just seeing him at Orem who called and refused to help. He stated that we knew it was a discount store and that all sales are final. We told him that although they are a discount store, we called in to give Aimee the commission on creating an order for us on a style we viewed online and that they were the wrong size. We told him that we needed to hurry and get a solution to this situation but he refused and started to give us a number for customers care then hung up. We called back and got no answer.Now we are stuck with a pair of boots that don't fit. If you go here and see a guy with a long beard with an attitude. Walk out. This Red Wing franchise doesn't deserve to be associated with such a good boot maker. Update: no thanks to Orem customer care helped and sent the right boots and a return label for the ones that don't fit. To my surprise, the conversation was less than 5 minutes. Orem definitely could've done better, they just chose not to.

You've come a long way, Chuck Taylor!…read more If you're my age (40s) or older, you remember the iconic canvas-covered and rubber-soled Chuck Taylor high-tops worn on the court from the 1920s (yes, the 1920s) until 1980, when Magic and Larry came on the scene, leather started replacing canvas, and Nike rose to take over the athletic shoe business. But somehow, the Chuck Taylor survived ... as more of a fashion statement. If you don't believe me, there's a whole store-worth of Chuck Taylors and other Converse shoes. The Chuck Taylors definitely don't make a great athletic shoe anymore, especially since many brands have great gel and arch support and specialized drop on the soles. Long story short, they are so cool looking ... the cornucopia of colors and selection of styles are incredible. Art designs, neon, and, my personal fave, the dull muted burgundy and gray colored Chuck Taylors :) There are also many non high-top Converse All-Stars in the back of the store. And, most importantly, they have sizes big enough to fit my giant feet! I hope you enjoy seeing and wearing Converse as much as I do!
