I do not dance at all and have no knowledge on ballet slippers, jazz, tap etc but was thrilled this store is close to home. It's in Carriage Square where it has some of my favorite foodie spots like Bien Hoa and Andanita's. The store did carry jazz shoes in my daughter's size, also bought an extra leotard and some tights. Onstage Dancewear is a very nice, orderly and clean store for all of your or your child's dance needs. I also notice they sew costumes! There were a couple of seamstresses sewing in the back. This store has been in business since 1982!! Impressive! Recommend and will be back.

They have a nice selection of shoes and friendly staff to help with any questions you may have. My one piece of advice to those dancers who are getting fit in pointe shoes for the first time or couple first times is to request Laurie Gustin as a fitter or one of the gals who has experience dancing on pointe. The other staff there is super nice and helpful if you already have an idea of what you're looking for but if it's your first time getting fit you want to be working with someone who really understands the ins and outs of pointe shoes

Our interaction with them was very positive. The talented seamstress who helped us was professional, extremely helpful, and went the extra mile. We loved working with Billiejo Clothing and hope they can return to business in the future.

We went to Billiejo Clothing to create some custom dance uniforms for our team. The initial meeting…read morewas good, but after that we never heard from them. Several calls (that no one answered), emails, and MONTHS later we FINALLY were able to get some news on our uniforms. They did a fitting and told us the uniforms would be finished by the end of the week. Another MONTH later we hadn't heard anything after trying multiple times to contact them (including showing up at the store and asking to talk to someone more than one time). Finally they responded, only to tell us they didn't have all the fabric they needed, which they assured us on the first day we met with them that they had plenty, and had to wait for some to come in. When we finally got the uniforms, the sewing work was shoddy at best. Sleeves were left unfinished, the seams down the legs had holes, and after wearing the uniforms for all of 10 minutes 3 of the girls had holes in the crotch of their uniforms. Overall the design was nice, and had the company communicated with us and taken the time to make sure the uniforms were finished our experience would have been much better.

I learned more about feet, fitting and spacers in the time it took to finally fit my girl. Thank Yoy Glass Slipper and your clerks were epic! (I didn't know anything about spacers, toe shields and box shape differences from Freed, Capezio or Bloche or the other various names they have tucked around in cubbies.) After several hours (7) over a couple of weeks testing shoes, we determined it was a size they were out of.. Glass Slipper ordered the shoe we tgought would fit, and gave the ballet teacher a choice between two shoe sizes to determine fit. The one that we had to order was the right size. If I had continued making the shoe choices I had prior to Glass Slipper I have no doubt my daughter was well on her way to bunions. If the shoe doesn't feel right, leave and return because feet change through the day and getting the best fit is/was a huge difference. The historic craftsman repurposed to a dance clothing store is charming. Every time I go there I spend extra time looking at the beautiful items and even took my husband for a tour.
