I've ran for years in the same model shoe but was wanting to try a new model. They helped me find a new pair and measured my feet and told me to I measured 5.5 and needed a 7. I hesitated but the shoes felt okay at the store. Then after a couple weeks the bigger shoes started making me get shin splints because I had too much room to move my foot around, I decided to go switch them out for 6.5. They didn't have any in stock so they said they would order me some and it would take no more than two weeks. Three weeks passed and I still didn't hear anything about my shoes. I called multiple times and no one knew why my shoes hadn't come in but that is all they would tell me. Finally the manager told me new balance had picked the shoe but had not shipped them and that they would look into it. I then heard nothing and tried calling multiple times to find the status update. 4.5 weeks since my order passed and someone finally gave me the email of the manager because the manager was never in when I called and the workers didn't know what to do. Because they could not offer me an explanation or a solution I ended up asking for multiple solutions like reordering/expediting or refunding me which they did not answer and just said "sorry, if you want to wait they should be here soon." This was not a satisfactory solution and finally after more emails the manager called me to tell me they actually had a 6.5 in stock and could have. I don't know why this wasn't a solution they could've offered upfront instead of making me wait and offer my own solution they could not seem to meet or offer themselves. It was poor customer service. Overall I love my shoes in the 6.5, unfortunately I just had to wait too long for them. read more

I cannot recommend this place enough! I'm in town for a marathon, and Jessica was SO helpful in getting me some last minute stuff! So sweet and so so knowledgable. I wasn't in a rush, so she even pulled multiple pairs of shoes for me to test and play around with. Their kindness and hospitality really made my day. Great place to pick up some new running shoes. I went in, had someone give me some suggestions on shoes, got to try them each out on the treadmill, and ended up buying a pair. Leaving the store, after purchasing the shoes, I decided to go ahead and check the price online...how much did the helpful service and pickup cost me? $0! Same price online for the shoes I bought in store. That took me by surprise. I've used the shoes for a couple runs now and they feel great. If you need new running shoes, try UtahRun out. read more

Always worry about getting advice from someone that is not knowledgeable about shoes and running. Jill helped us and was very knowledgeable about training and running shoes. If you are looking for poor customer service with a small podunk mindset this is the right place for you! I spent $150 on running shoes and socks and no one at the store provided the typical "private running store experience" of helping me pick the right shoes or watching me run on the treadmill. I figured this small place Utah Run must not be set up similar to bigger towns. After bringing my husband into Utah Run we asked if they could analyze his running so we could see what shoes would be best. The older woman came out of the back of Utah Run and after I explained the last time I purchased shoes No one provided any assistance. She wouldn't do an always without us buying a pair of shoes, which we were prepared to buy two pairs. Than walked away? She assumed we weren't buying shoes and was pretty rude. We bought $300 of running shoes on Amazon, which was a disappointment as we were trying to support the local economy! read more
